29. A little review. (idk where to post this >< this is my opinion only and what I think could be better, I don’t mean to offend anyone or dismiss the effort put into writing this novel)

    I read the first half of the arc then skimmed until I reached the end (chapter 20). The setting and overall plot interesting enough to follow along. It feels very well thought out with little repetitive details coupled with the protagonist’s plans and acting.

    There are actually only 2 aspects that prevent me from reading any further, and those are the dialogues and the wordings used. I don’t remember the last time I actually talked to someone saying multiple sentences in each exchange aside from emails. The wordings, frankly, seem shallow and cliche. I know honeyed words are difficult to say without tiptoeing the line between sweet and uncomfortably overused. Personally, I would describe the mood using metaphors, imagery, etc. instead of using the character’s mouths, but each author has their own way of expressing things, so it’s a suggestion not a correction :).

    Lastly, I know this is a novel that is written for fun, but as with anything, improvement can be beneficial regardless. Sending heart ♥. There are so many chapters, such dedication owo.

37. I just started reading this recently and it gives allnsort of feelings the lead characters are feeling. I recommend you to read this while listening to Love is gone acoustic version and I’m telling you his song gives the exact feels of this story

      • the novel was a unique as the arc plots is new to the QT genre…..the only complain i have was that the dialogue seems to TMI to me..it made the convo unnecessarily wordy in my opinion…..but other than that, everything else are okay.

48. Sorry that summary scares me too much to read even though I love angst. Innocence is not evil. But it is one of the many ways a certain overused negative trope (aka the victim-blaming cliche) is expressed. I’ve read so many stories like that that even if that isn’t what the author meant the fact that those terms were used together means I will always have some doubt about it not being used that way. If you want to pull a reader in who was looking for something different it might have been better to use innocent facade.
