The sound of small bickers could be heard inside of an office, a hoarse voice of a young man and the deeper voice of a man teasing the other. There was a soft air in the room even as their voices overlapped with one another’s.
Ten years have already gone by as the matters of this world slowly came to a peaceful conclusion. With the help of Achin’s president, Bai Zhensu, the leader of the hunters, Qi Wuliao, and the vampire successor, Wen Zhuhei, they were able to come up with a plan for both the races to exist with one another.
The first few years were a bit hard as the humans and vampires had to grow to coexisting with one another but as more years passed, everyone began to let down their barriers. Now, Achin took pride as the country that had the most vampires living in their country. Though there were still small problems every now and then, it was something that couldn’t be fixed.
The humans began to take pride in the vampires, who all had better stats than humans. These vampires quickly joined the army, police forces, and much more. With their strength much higher than a human, they were able to resist the normal things that could kill a human.
Five years into the plan, the Vampire Lord, Chen Shujin, stepped down from his position, passing the seat to his lover, Wen Zhuhei, the half-blood vampire who had thought of fixing the ties between the humans and the vampires.
Now, it was weird to think of the vampires not living in Achin and going about their everyday lives.
Achin’s president, Bai Zhensu also turned into a half-blood vampire seven years ago after announcing that he had a lover who was a vampire. Though the identity of this vampire remained unknown, everyone respected his choice.
Shu Hezhen and Li Yinlui retreated away from the spotlight, using this time to clear away all misunderstandings. Li Yinlui used this time to repent for what he had done, causing harm to almost the whole world. He also was learning to forgive himself for what he had done and to also move on from everything.
Chen Xueyi’s life was normal, except for a hunter who had set his eyes on him now, the very same hunter who had become a good friend of Wen Zhuhei’s.
Qi Wuliao diligently worked on turning the vampire hunter’s association into something new as he worked on his half. Six years into doing this, he had accidentally met Chen Xueyi during one of their meeting where he would later chase after the vampire until this day, still not able to get him.
Lu Hongxue’s life was normal, still hard at work on her role as Wen Zhuhei’s bodyguard.
“Stop it.” A hoarse voice broke the silence as the vampire inside smacked the other vampire with the papers in his hand. His face held a blush to it, even as his features remained the same as they had ten years ago.
Sitting next to him, a vampire’s arms were looped around his waist, occasionally grabbing and probing the flesh with sneaky intents.
Wen Zhuhei and Chen Shujin had grown even closer as Chen Shujin tossed away all his work load onto the younger vampire. Now, Chen Shujin spent a leisure life with Wen Zhuhei even as his momentum was still upholding and he was still revered by all vampires.
Chen Shujin smirked softly, throwing his head onto Wen Zhuhei’s lap, his arms still tightly around the vampire. Turning his body, he looked up at Wen Zhuhei’s face as the vampire’s cheeks were slightly flushed.
“Does your waist hurt? I apologize for last night, Zhuhei.” Chen Shujin gently said as he lightly touched Wen Zhuhei’s face, a wolfish smile on his face.
Wen Zhuhei looked down at Chen Shujin softly. His cheeks were turning red now as he remembered everything that had happened last night. Then, setting the papers in his hand aside, he played with Chen Shujin’s hair.
“No, I’m fine. Just… just be gentler next time.” Wen Zhuhei’s ears had turned red now and he could even see Chen Shujin’s smirk which made him feel even more embarrassed, recalling what the man had made him say during their activities last night.
“But, you were really active last night. I wasn’t expecting you would miss me so much after parting with me for a whole week. I had to have my fill too since you left without informing me.” Chen Shujin cocked his brow as Wen Zhuhei sputtered, not knowing what to say at his words.
Wen Zhuhei’s blush was traveling down to his neck at the moment, hearing Chen Shujin’s words. “If I had informed you, you would’ve made sure I would be having waist pain throughout that week. You’re too active even though all you do is laze around in bed.” Wen Zhuhei playfully pinched Chen Shujin’s cheek before letting go as the man looked at him with an ominous gaze.
Chen Shujin looked at the beautiful Wen Zhuhei in his eyes. Through these ten years, their relationship was only improving. As they cleared away all the misunderstandings both of them had, it only brought them closer. Now, Chen Shujin had fully let go of all the worries in his heart. though he knew there was so much more to this man and his story, he wanted to live their lives to the fullest first.
“Zhuhei, kiss me.” Chen Shujin smiled playfully, winking as he said this and then closed his eyes, awaiting Wen Zhuhei.
Wen Zhuhei pouted for a second but upon seeing that Chen Shujin had already closed his eyes, he merely smiled softly before he leaned down, closing his eyes and giving Chen Shujin a very soft kiss. This man, after all these years, he got even more childish.
Even with a shy expression on, Wen Zhuhei still gave way to Chen Shujin. It wasn’t until he could feel Chen Shujin smiling against him that he lifted his head up.
“Zhuhei, after all these years, I still remember when you foolishly ordered me around. If things hadn’t progress the way it had, maybe you would’ve spent so much time thinking that I didn’t know what you were up to.” Chen Shujin jokingly brought up, still remembering those event in his heart. They did quite a bit in those moments where Wen Zhuhei was overwhelmed with his emotions.
Hearing this, though Wen Zhuhei was a bit shy, he smiled brightly. “I didn’t know that you were immune to artifacts. If I had known, I wouldn’t have been so foolish in that moment.”
Chen Shujin looked up at Wen Zhuhei’s face before a thought struck his heart. Quite frankly, Chen Shujin knew that he wouldn’t have much time left. As the original soul of this body had gone through so many wars and such, he would have to enter eternal slumber sooner or later. Maybe Chen Shujin could push his body to the limits, staying for another ten years but it was going to take a toll. If things hadn’t change, the original soul would have entered eternal slumber five years ago.
Wen Zhuhei didn’t have any clue about this, and Chen Shujin didn’t want to tell him just yet. Knowing Wen Zhuhei, he would probably do something to end his life early. Wen Zhuhei still had a long time to live, perhaps a thousand years or even more since he was a stronger half-blood vampire.

Knowing him, he will want to meet Xueyi too.” Then, he sat up, pushing himself off Wen Zhuhei’s laps.With a twinkle in his eyes and a grin on his face, he stood up, turning back and sticking a hand towards Wen Zhuhei. “Your Majesty, it looks like our time together will be cut short.”
Wen Zhuhei had a warm light in his eyes as he looked at Chen Shujin’s hand, accepting it as he was pulled up. “Make sure you behave, last time, Wuliao was almost tricked by you.” He lightly scolded, even though there was no sign of anger in his eyes.
Chen Shujin merely rolled his eyes at this, taking Wen Zhuhei’s hand and leading him out of the office as they headed to their bedroom. “He deserved it for trying to steal you right in front of me, his hands were getting too close for my liking.” But even as he said this, there was still a light smile evident on his lips as he turned back to Wen Zhuhei and pushed him into the bedroom.
Seeing that they were in the bedroom, Wen Zhuhei raised a brow, asking, “Why did you take me here?”
Chen Shujin smirked, tongue running over his fang as he pushed Wen Zhuhei against the closed door and looked down at him. “You ran off this morning before I woke up. You forgot about our morning session and even left me alone without you. Of course, I deserve some type of interest for this.”
Without another word, Chen Shujin leaned down towards Wen Zhuhei’s neck, lips touching the pale skin as he lightly kissed it, nibbling here and there. Small traces of hickeys began to appear on the snow-like skin as Wen Zhuhei stifled his moans.
“You-” But before Wen Zhuhei could say anything else, Chen Shujin had already covered his mouth.
It started with a light kiss until Chen Shujin began to nibble gently on Wen Zhuhei’s red lips, his fangs brushing against it. After seeing that Wen Zhuhei was cooperating, Chen Shujin didn’t waste anytime as he probed open his lips and began to play around inside, their tongues intertwining as Wen Zhuhei began to reply too.
Taking a gasp, Wen Zhuhei uttered, “Wait-” Before he could finish his words, he was silenced by Chen Shujin’s tug as they fell onto the bed with Chen Shujin hovering over Wen Zhuhei.
“Your Majesty, what is your order?” Chen Shujin questioned, a beautiful smirk on his lips as his golden eyes darkened with delight. His hand playfully rubbed Wen Zhuhei’s waist with another slowly creeping down to hold the man’s thigh and caressing it.
Wen Zhuhei bit his lips, watching as Chen Shujin seduced him right then and there.
Chen Shujin raised his brow, “Is your silence permitting me to do as I wish?”
Wen Zhuhei only became more stifled, knowing that he was trapped no matter what he said. Especially now that the man was playing with his words too, fully acting out his role in this devious game.
“I see, then, thank you for the meal, Your Majesty. I will definitely satisfy you to the fullest.” Without another word, Chen Shujin dug in.
“Wait…”
“Stop that, cold…”
“Shujin!”

“I can’t!”
After a satisfying meal, Chen Shujin laid down on the bed next to Wen Zhuhei. Wen Zhuhei’s bare body was laying on the bed, red marks scattered all over his body with a questionable fluid between his thighs. His eyes were closed gentle as he had passed out near the end.
Chen Shujin carefully touched Wen Zhuhei’s face, a faint smile on his lips as he gently got up, wrapping a robe around his body. He needed to clean Wen Zhuhei first and get the things out before the man suffered from a stomachache.
Entering the bathroom, Chen Shujin grabbed a tub of warm water and a towel before heading out again. Seeing that the man was laying still, he set the tub down and began gently wiping Wen Zhuhei’s body.
Chen Shujin smiled gently, but reflected in his eyes, there was a twinkle of sadness within them.
When he thought about Zhu Longwang, something would squeeze at his heart. Although he knew that Wen Zhuhei was also Zhu Longwang, something in Chen Shujin still restricted him from loving Wen Zhuhei to the fullest.
Recently, Chen Shujin had been having dreams about Zhu Longwang. There was something in the dream that told Chen Shujin that Zhu Longwang felt pain. Chen Shujin was able to tell that something was wrong, but he wasn’t able to say just what it was.
Pushing away the worries in his heart, Chen Shujin looked down at Wen Zhuhei. Having finished cleaning him, Chen Shujin gently kissed Wen Zhuhei’s forehead before bringing the tub of water into the bathroom and dumping it out.
Chen Shujin returned quick, looking at Wen Zhuhei who was still sleeping and gently laid down next to him. He looped his arms around Wen Zhuhei’s waist and brought the man closer to him. Wen Zhuhei or Zhu Longwang, would the man still remember him when he wakes in their original world?

“Zhuhei!” A now grown Qi Wuliao set down his suitcase as he turned to Wen Zhuhei who sat on the chair, merely watching Qi Wuliao. “Where’s Xueyi?” Looking around, the man who had grown even taller than Wen Zhuhei, only losing to Chen Shujin, looked carefully for the vampire he was currently pursuing.
Qi Wuliao had really grown, his once beautiful features had grown more manly, with his scar also fading a bit. He now stood at 189 centimeters, having shot up in the recent years. He walked over to plop next to Wen Zhuhei.
“Shujin went to get him. Was your only purpose coming here to find Xueyi?” Wen Zhuhei jokingly asked, raising a brow as Qi Wuliao smirked.
“Of course not. I brought a new drug that I’ve been working on.” Saying this, Qi Wuliao reached into his coat, bringing out a small metal box about the size of a ring box. His face grew a bit grim as he opened up the box, revealing a blue liquid in a glass vial. “I’ve been working on this for over a year now and just made one.”
Wen Zhuhei wrinkled his brow as he watched Qi Wuliao treat the box so gently. “What is this? Most of your experiments never last this long.”
“I actually had a vampire ask me to make this about a year ago. At first, I was thinking that I shouldn’t, but upon realizing that there was more behind the request, I agreed in the end.” Qi Wuliao’s face was a bit dark as he said this and Wen Zhuhei noticed.
“You’re usually never so grim when telling me about your experiments. Just what did you make?” Wen Zhuhei lifted the small vial and carefully examined it.
Hearing this, Qi Wuliao looked around to see if there was anyone else before he leaned closer to Wen Zhuhei’s ear and whispered, “It’s a drug that forces a vampire to enter Eternal Slumber.”
Wen Zhuhei’s eyes shook, widening as his finger shook a bit. He looked at the small vial in his hand with a dark expression.
Seeing that Wen Zhuhei’s face was getting dark, Qi Wuliao hurriedly added, “Wait, you haven’t heard the full story!”
Wen Zhuhei calmed himself, putting the vial back in place before he broke it. “Continue.” He got ready to listen to Qi Wuliao’s words.
“The vampire told me that his lover was going to enter Eternal Slumber in a few years. He also told me that he wouldn’t be entering Eternal Slumber anytime soon and that he wanted to follow his lover too instead of living for more than a hundred years without his lover. I thought over it and decided that I would do my best to follow his request. The drug doesn’t hurt a vampire and they won’t feel any pain. It reacts similar to a sleeping drug but it forces a vampire to enter Eternal Slumber forever.” Qi Wuliao quickly said his words.
Hearing this, Wen Zhuhei clenched his fist as a name popped into his head. Chen Shujin, the vampire would be entering Eternal Slumber any time soon. If Chen Shujin entered Eternal Slumber, Wen Zhuhei would have to live for thousands of years before he could also follow in peace.
“Wuliao, give me this vial.” Wen Zhuhei’s eyes was calm without a ripple in them as he said this.
Qi Wuliao wrinkled his brow as he asked, “Why would you,” Then he stopped himself, his eyes widening. “You know that Shujin is entering Eternal Slumber soon.” It was not a question, it was a statement.
Wen Zhuhei eyes grew dark. He gently rubbed his ring without a thought in his head. “I know that he has been more secretive than before and that he has been speaking about this matter with Xueyi and even you.” Actually, he knew that Chen Shujin was hiding something so he had been trying to find some information. It wasn’t until he overheard Qi Wuliao accidentally saying something that he knew that Chen Shujin was going to enter Eternal Slumber soon.
Qi Wuliao thought about it, biting his lips as a sigh escaped his mouth. “You know that Shujin wouldn’t want you to do that.”
“I know, but to live without him would be more unbearable. My life has always revolved around him and even till the end of time, it still will.” Wen Zhuhei smiled faintly as he said this.
Qi Wuliao shook his head but he didn’t stop him. “I will give it to you only because you and I have been friends for a while now and I know that I can’t stop you from continuing your plan. I only hope that you have thought it through.”
“No, there is no need to think about it. I will prepare everything to follow after him. In life and death, I want to never part with him.” Wen Zhuhei smiled, peace within his eyes as he grabbed the metal box and closed it. “I love him too much to let him go alone.”

“Zhuhei, I will always love you, till even time ends, I will love only you.” In this world, Chen Shujin would have to leave first. It was regretful. Chen Shujin’s eyes closed gently.
Wen Zhuhei watched as Chen Shujin entered Eternal Slumber, the smile on his lips not disappearing even as a tear fell down his face.
Wen Zhuhei quickly took out the vial from his pocket, drinking its content as he leaned his head down onto Chen Shujin’s chest. In life and death, they will never be separated. It was regretful that he was born so late…

In the room, a drawing of two men were holding hands. The taller of the two had gold radiating eyes, the shorter had warm gray eyes as they looked at each other. There was a strong warmth from this drawing, a feeling that made one feel at peace. Below this drawing, a short poem was written down.
