It reminds me of the story where red flag gong tortures the shou in past life and regrets after shou dies, just to be reincarnated as the shou at the begining of their relationship. So, now he must love through the life he had given the previous shou and the gong is also himself… It was mind numbing event. So yeah, camping..
There’s none of that abuse in this story. If you read the first couple chapters, the author explains who the gong and shou are, and the abuse that the gong underwent in the past life was at the hands of another sect member who he wasn’t romantically involved with. This life there’s no abuse, because he’s able to help himself avoid falling into the pit that that sect member had woven for him last life
