Fei Qianchi opened his eyes. As he opened his eyes, he came face to face with another man that was already standing and looking at him. Fei Qianchi didn’t recognize him but his heart knew who this was.
“Fei Shang.” Fei Qianchi found that his voice was hoarse, his voice quite deep. As his eyes focused, his vision became clearer.
Before him, there was an elegant youth standing. His long black hair was tied up by a ribbon, adorned in a black robe. There was a red sword hanging at his waist, a jade tassel hanging off of it. The man had phoenix eyes, slightly slanted and curving up at the edge. His skin was a wheat color, with thin red lips. He had a high nose bridge, with brilliant shining brown eyes. His face was a mix of masculine and feminine, still holding a trace of elegance and gracefulness with his features.
Fei Shang lightly smiled, “Qianchi, you made it back.” Contrary to his looks that could make him a bit menacing, his voice was very soothing. Fei Shang smiled softly as he walked forward.
Fei Qianchi sat up, his body feeling tired. Whilst getting up, he felt a wave of pain enter his head. He felt his long hair move, looking to see that it was a brilliant white color.
Fei Qianchi closed his eyes in pain as he then asked, “This… is this our world?” He scanned the room as he asked this, looking at everything that was set up. It definitely didn’t look as if he had gone to the past, there were even technologies set up in here.
“It is. It’s just that I modeled some technology based off of what I discovered in the world where I found you.” Fei Shang kindly explained. There was a radiant light within his eyes that made it clear just how happy he was.
“My memories, I didn’t get them back yet.” Fei Qianchi opened his eyes as he realized that he didn’t have his memories back yet. While he knew Fei Shang, without his memories, he was missing a huge amount of information.
“I know. I haven’t programmed that yet because I wanted to see if you could adjust to your body first. It seems like you are adjusting to your body well so I won’t have to worry about that.” Fei Shang meddled with a screen as he said this. “I remodeled a body similar to your original body but it isn’t the same. I adjusted it as best as I can but I was worried that something may go wrong so I waited before injecting your memories back.”
Hearing this explanation, Fei Qianchi nodded his head. For whatever reason, Fei Qianchi felt at peace in this world. Maybe it was because this world was the beginning of everything. “Then, how long will that next step take?”
“Not too long. I have made some adjustments already while waiting for you to wake. I thought that you would want to be given some more information first though, so I waited.” Fei Shang brought a mirror over as he said this. “Here, I thought you would like to see how your body looks like. It isn’t the same as your original body but very similar.”
Fei Qianchi looked into the mirror, meeting with a pair of blue eyes that looked back. His long white hair flowed down his back, his skin pale and white. His eyes were slanted and narrow, mirroring the face of a elegant man. His lips were thin and pink. If there was one thing noticeable, it was the black mark underneath his right eye. There was a black line that ran under his eye and Fei Qianchi brought it up to Fei Shang.
“What is this mark?” Fei Qianchi asked while point to the line underneath his right eye.
“Ah, that,” Fei Shang paused, not knowing what to say. “I don’t know the meaning behind it. You entered seclusion for nearly a hundred years and when you returned, that mark was there. Whenever I brought it up, you merely laughed while saying that it was a gift.” Saying this, there was a familiar look of remembrance in his eyes.
Fei Qianchi didn’t bring it up again. If even Fei Shang didn’t know what it meant then only he knew about it, and as of current, he didn’t have his memories yet.
“Are you feeling alright?” Fei Shang didn’t mind that Fei Qianchi was a bit blank. He was just happy that the man had finally returned.

“Yes, I’m still adjusting to my current situation. Since I don’t have my memories yet, it feels a bit different.” Fei Qianchi replied as he focused on Fei Shang. Then, a man popped into his mind. “Zhu Longwang, where is he?” Fei Qianchu’s voice was abrupt and quick as he asked in a hurry.
Fei Shang didn’t take any offense as he merely returned, “His body is being kept in a different area. Do you want to see him?”
Fei Qianchi nodded his head quickly. Although he knew that Zhu Longwang had purple eyes, in his dreams, the moments were too fast to focus on just how Zhu Longwang looked like. Plus, his face was always a bit blurry. As Fei Qianchi stood up, he jumped off of the bed. “Yes, please take me to him.”
Seeing this, Fei Shang nodded his head with a smile. “Of course. Zhu Luishui is out for a bit so it will be the perfect time to sneak a peek at how Longwang is progressing.”
Zhu Luishui, Fei Qianchi knew that that was Zhu Longwang’s older brother. Even if he didn’t have his memories yet, there was bits of information floating around that he recognized.
Seeing that he was already dressed up nicely, Fei Qianchi didn’t stress out about his clothing and walked over to Fei Shang. Fei Qianchi discovered that he was taller than the other man.
As he followed Fei Shang, his heart began beating quickly. He was scared. Inside, he was still a bit afraid. But more than that, it was his yearning that shone most, the wanting to see Zhu Longwang in his original form instead of the many other shards of his souls that Fei Qianchi had previously known.
As Fei Shang walked and unlocked the door, he made sure that Fei Qianchi was following him. As soon as they were out of the secret room, Fei Shang locked the doors with a spell. His hand moved quickly in the air over the doors as faint marks of writing appeared on the door and then disappeared, a gold light shining before it disappeared.
Fei Qianchi watched carefully, not saying a word as Fei Shang turned back to him.
“I’m going to use a teleportation spell. Don’t be too wary of it.” Fei Shang muttered as he began saying an incantation. As he opened his palms, a flashing light shone and spread onto the space above them before coming down and enveloping their body. As the light faded away, their bodies were gone.
Fei Qianchi wasn’t startled. Rather, there was a sore aching in his heart. Remembering the events of the last and final world, there was an oppressive feeling within his heart. He clenched his fists tightly as within just moments, they reappeared in a different place.
“Zhu Longwang is kept in a hidden cave deep within the Suzhou Peak. Zhu Luishui hid his body well and kept it safe during all these years.” Fei Shang helped explained as they walked further into the cave, gemstones lighting up and shining the way through.
As Fei Qianchi looked around, there was a look of melancholy in his eyes. There was a deep sense of pain in his heart that struck at his core. Just entering this cave, Fei Qianchi was already so afraid to see Zhu Longwang. Even without his memories, his heart was beating so heavily against his chest.
“How… how many years have passed in this world?” Fei Qianchi’s voice was very calm and gentle, albeit a bit deeper than his past voice.
Hearing this question, a sad smile suddenly came onto Fei Shang’s face as he continued to walk forward, his face full of memories. “Many years have passed already. From the moment you died, to the moment I found your soul once more, and till this very moment, at least 200 years have flown by. For cultivators such as us, 200 years is short, especially as we are considered immortals now. But for those who have many regrets, 200 years are long with torture.”
Fei Qianchi listened to his words, lifting his mouth to show a devastated smile. “200 years… he must have been waiting for me for a long time then.”
Fei Shang didn’t reply, not knowing what to say. As they walked deeper into the dark cave, a cold feeling bursted ahead, a bright, blue light glowing.
“Zhu Longwang’s body is kept ahead. I have already took off the seal so we may enter.” Fei Shang turned back to look at Fei Qianchi and the man nodded at his words.
Fei Qianchi took in a deep breath as he followed closely after Fei Shang. It didn’t take long before the cave began to widen and a white coffin became clear to see. Looking closer, the coffin was white, made of a rare ice jade. Fei Qianchi felt his body numb, unable to control himself as his steps quickened. He was so nervous, scared, yet he was happy.
Watching Fei Qianchi, Fei Shang did not step closer, putting a space between them
Fei Qianchi stepped up the steps, to where the coffin was covered by a clear layer of Qi, making it impossible to penetrate through. As Fei Qianchi stopped, he looked down at the body that laid so quietly within the coffin.
The man inside was very handsome, with sharp brows and thin pink lips. His skin was also pale, depicting just how long he had been in a place like this. The man had a small long scar running along his left cheek, and Fei Qianchi felt as if he could remember this mark. Although his eyes were closed, Fei Qianchi knew that the man had sharp, piercing purple eyes. His eyes were beautiful, almond-shaped eyes that made his pupils more visible.
His long brown hair rested over his shoulders, dressed in a pale blue robe. Inside the coffin, a blue sword laid by his side, encased in a jade scabbard. His hands were carefully rested over his stomach, long and pale fingers filled with callouses. Even as the man laid so quietly, it was easy to tell that the man was a handsome person, a figure of elegance and gracefulness.
Fei Qianchi felt his breath stop for a second. This was Zhu Longwang… the man’s image was immediately printed into his heart. For some reason, the man seemed to match the image that Fei Qianchi had made within his head even from long before.
“This scar, was I the one who gave it to him?” Fei Qianchi’s voice was actually calm, contrary to the emotions running rampant within his heart.
From the side, Fei Shang finally answered, “That scar was caused during the time that you two had a fight. I cannot go into deeper details for even I don’t know much about it. It was roughly after you found out that Baicheng had fooled you.”
Hearing this, Fei Qianchi nodded his head. Truthfully, Fei Qianchi wanted to touch the man, to see if he was truly there and not merely an image meant to fool him, but he knew that he couldn’t.
“My cultivation from before, were you able to put it into this body too?” While Fei Qianchi knew that this world was a world of cultivation, he did not have much information about it. He was hoping to learn everything from his memories.
“I did. Although it took a while, I spent time carefully modifying your body.” Fei Shang didn’t go into deeper details, merely answering straight forward.
Fei Qianchi’s blue eyes lingered on Zhu Longwang as the man quietly laid within the coffin. Zhu Longwang’s eyes were closed, a face of coldness that seemed to come from his features. Staring at this face, Fei Qianchi felt the urge to cry. Even without his memories, why did his heart hurt like so?
Staring at the long scar that ran across Zhu Longwang’s left cheek, Fei Qianchi felt his head ache. He wanted to know, he wanted to remember everything. Thinking this, he turned up to Fei Shang. “Fei Shang, I want to regain my memories today. Is that possible?”
Fei Shang nodded his head, “Yes, I knew that you would want to gain your memories back as soon as possible. I have everything prepared and was merely waiting for you to wake. We will have to return back to the room first though.”
Fei Qianchi looked once more at Zhu Longwang, not affected by the cold wave of air that bursted from the coffin. His fingers ran along the coffin, wanting to touch the man inside but unable to. Finally, he took back his hand, looking for a long second as he finally turned away. With slow steps, he walked away from the coffin.
“Then, let us go.”

“Fei Qianchi has returned.”
The man who said this was dressed in black robes. His light blue eyes were bright, his figure tall and thin. His facial structure was handsome, fair yet also cold. His lips were plump and red, peach blossom eyes with a mole by the corner of his right eye. His hair was tied back by a white ribbon, his black and brown hair was long and straight.
Opposite of him, the man who sat on a chair sneered. He had long black hair, held up by a hairpin. His lips were thin, with narrow eyes that appeared sharp and cold. His eyebrows were arched, making his red eyes appear even more visible and highlighted. His skin was pale, but it was not overly pale. And even though he was sitting, his body was still quite muscular. His black hair flowed freely, dressed in a dark red robe.
“Every time, Fei Shang doesn’t cease to amaze me.” The man’s eyes shone, a bright light flickering. He flicked a small dagger within his hands, twirling it around, not afraid of being injured. His red eyes were bright as he looked at the other man. “And what about Zhu Luishui? I’m sure that the man isn’t even aware that Fei Qianchi has already returned.”
The other man calmly replied, “Zhu Luishui has met up with Tianyin Sect. I assume that he is trying to meet up with the Godly Doctor’s junior brother who has just returned to the sect.”
“I see,” The man’s lips were still curved, a face of cruelty. The dagger within his hand stopped moving as he dropped it on the table. “Call Hong Meiwan and Jiang Yilang. I’m sure that they want a mission, it’s been a while since they’ve been able to escape from the sect.”
“Is there anything else you have to order?” The man with light blue eyes was very calm, a light smile on his face as he awaited the other man’s words.
The man sat on the chair for a short moment before the smile was wiped away from his face. “For now, merely watch. I wasn’t expecting him to wake so soon but Fei Shang would’ve wanted to catch me off guard. Don’t make a move yet. We have the other sects to worry about and we still need to track the man who tried to use me as a pawn.” While saying this last sentence, his eyes darkened venomously.
“I understand, I will relay this to Meiwan and Yilang. I will be leaving then.” Saying this, the man threw out a small talisman as a mist grew and enveloped his body.
Now alone, the man ran a hand through his black hair, his pale skin made his eyes even more accentuated. The man’s lips suddenly curved into a smirk. “Zhu Luishui, it seems you were correct. I have never understood your thoughts. It goes to show just how you had hidden yourself even when you were with me…”

“Qianchi, I will begin.” Fei Shang announced as he plugged in a wire into an unknown device.
Fei Qianchi closed his eyes, a small magnet stuck onto his forehead. Then, feeling a small current running through him, he closed his eyes and leaned down onto the bed.
When he closed his eyes, it was then that everything finally began clearing up. Now, it was time to regain his memories.

Wait…. I’m kind of confused, so their world has cultivation which means they’re in historical setting but at the same time has advanced technologies? Does this apply to Fei Shang’s usage only or the people in this world can also access this?
I… all this time I just though that Fei Shang was amazing(?Since it was him who did all that thing for Fei Qianchi to “transmigrate” around different worlds and blabla and he could be able enough to somehow bring out/make advanced technology? idk haha
