Hand immediately covering the bleeding wound, he gasped aloud and did his best to overcome the pain but when he saw Huo Zhixing being stabbed, his eyes widened and all the pain he felt was forgotten.
Tong Qiu became horrified and couldn’t help but to yell in distress. Although it hadn’t been him who was stabbed, it might as well have been due to the immense pain that suddenly bloomed from his heart. He didn’t know where the sudden strength came from but he managed to stand back up again and rushed towards Zou Kai.
Hou Zhixing had been professionally trained to fight, but Zou Kai was not some random street gangster. They were equal in strength and abilities.
When Tong Qiu ran towards them, Zou Kai was facing Hou Zhixing holding unto another knife. He was shouting: “I didn’t plan on going back to prison when I came out. It’ll be worth it to be buried together with you!”
Zou Kai tried to stab Huo Zhixing again on his abdomen but before he could land the hit, he was knocked to the side by Tong Qiu. Due to the impact, he managed to let go of the knife and it scraped Tong Qiu’s face.
They both fell on the ground. Upon seeing this, Huo Zhixing rushed to Zou Kai and twisted his arm, dislocating it.
Zou Kai howled in pain, scaring Tong Qiu.
Although one arm was now indisposed, Zou Kai still used his other hand to grab the knife again and hack it towards Huo Zhixing’s direction.
Tong Qiu’s brain buzzed when he saw Zou Kai grab the knife.
