Night fell on a new day as Chang Min and Ye Xun sat in Ye Xun’s car. Ye Xun parked the vehicle at Chang Min’s parents’ house as Ye Xun felt a bit nervous. He has met Chang Min’s parents many times before, but this time it is different.
He is going to be introducing himself as Chang Min’s boyfriend.
“Are you feeling nervous?” Chang Min asked as he reached over, grabbing Ye Xun’s hand while squeezing it. “You met my parents many times before. There is no need to be nervous; they already love you.”

Chang Min walked out of the car with the wine bottle in his hand. Ye Xun came after him, closing and locking the car doors. Chang Min handed the bottle to Ye Xun as he pulled out his keys, picking the one for his parents’ house.
He unlocked the front door, walking in with Ye Xun silently following behind him. Once Ye Xun was inside, he closed and locked the door. They took off their shoes.
“Mom, dad, we are here!” Chang Min called.
After the call, his mother walked out from the kitchen, making her way towards them. She pulled Chang Min in her arms, hugging him, “I’ve been seeing you so much lately, and I still feel like it is not enough.” His mother commented.
Then, Chang Ying let him go, glancing at Ye Xun, who grew nervous under her stare. She is one of the people that he did not want to piss off.
Chang Ying moved towards Ye Xun, opening her arms, “Now, here is someone I have not seen in a while. Come hug me.”

Chang Min choked on his spit at his mother’s words. Even Ye Xun turned slightly red from Chang Ying’s response. Yesterday, he called Chang Ying “mother” to tease Chang Min, but now he felt embarrassed.
“Uh, yes, m-mother.” Ye Xun stuttered towards the end. Chang Min held in a chuckle, thinking that an embarrassed Ye Xun is adorable.
“Ah, you are fun to tease too.” Chang Ying smiled before turning towards her son and taking the wine from his hand. “You two follow me.”
They followed Chang Ying, walking into the kitchen. They walked towards the table that already had plates of food set out on it. Chang Liang already sat at the table, digging into the food without waiting for anyone.
Chang Ying sighed as she shook her head; although, a smile still graced her lips. “Love, I told you to wait.”
“If you leave food in front of me and expect me to wait, then you will end up disappointed.” Chang Liang responded, picking up another piece of beef, eating it while he looked his wife in her eyes.
Chang Ying laughed before glancing at her son, “You see what I deal with all the time, son.”
“That’s just how dad is.” Chang Min chuckled before sitting down, dragging Ye Xun into the seat next to him.
Ye Xun held a small smile as he watched and listened to them. He forgot how much he loved going to Chang Min’s parents’ home with him. The house and family were always warm and loving. It was completely different from what he dealt with in his childhood home when his father passed. He missed the warmth a family emitted.
Also, taking a seat, Chang Ying set the wine on the table. She gave another sigh, “No one has my back. Shame.” She grabbed the clear plates on the table, setting one in front of Chang Min and another in front of Ye Xun.
She started piling food on their plates, not giving them a chance to say anything or do it themselves. Chang Ying doesn’t mind catering to her son and Ye Xun.
“Thank you, mom.” Chang Min gave her a soft smile.
“Thank you.” Ye Xun spoke after him before grabbing the utensils on the table to use. He and Chang Min quickly dug in.
“So, Ye Xun, I hear that you are dating my son.” Chang Liang spoke.
Ye Xun nodded, “I am. And I promise to treat him right.” He quickly let out the last part.
“I know you are a good match for my son. And I believe you will treat him right. But, do know, we will do anything to make sure our boy is safe and unharmed.”
“Dad.” Chang Min responded, wanting to stop him. After what happened with his aunt and uncle, his parents had grown overprotective of him.
Ye Xun did not mind, “I understand, sir.”
Chang Liang waved his hand, “Don’t call me, sir. You can call me father.”
Once again, Chang Min was choking on his spit as Ye Xun turned slightly red. Chang Ying laughed at their reactions, “Good job on embarrassing them, love.” She praised him.
“Can you two not start?” Chang Min begged. He might end up dying from embarrassment. And Ye Xun would be right after him because he felt anxious calling Chang Min’s parents mother and father. It made his heart beat faster.
The rest of the dinner held a light conversation. Chang Liang mainly focused on the food, checking out when his wife started teasing the boys. He did not want to be a part of it.
Ye Xun and Chang Min held red faces throughout the dinner as Chang Ying came out with all the stops. She left them utterly embarrassed, especially when she made comments towards their sex life.
“So, are you two still going on the weekend trip? Sex at different locations is fun.” Chang Ying commented.
Chang Min groaned but answered anyway, “I honestly forgot. I did get an email yesterday asking me to confirm the trip. I booked a hotel that has a partnership with a spa.” Then, he turned towards Ye Xun, “Do you still want to go?”
Ye Xun thought about it. It would be nice to do something relaxing before dealing with his mother. “Yeah, I still want to.”
“Okay, let me confirm with them then.” Chang Min pulled out his phone as he pulled up the message.
“Well, you two have fun. And Ye Xun, make sure not to leave any more marks on his throat. I don’t think there is enough space left.” Chang Ying commented.
Chang Min turned red, covering his face as he groaned. Ye Xun also turned red, looking at his food as he did not want to glace at Chang Ying. Ye Xun wanted to team up with Chang Ying to tease Chang Min, but it seems like that is not happening.
“I will try not to.” Ye Xun muttered. He wanted to be like Chang Liang and check out of the conversation.
“Also, hotels that hold a partnership with spas usually have everything you need like a love hotel, so you don’t have to worry about bringing lube and condoms. Unless you want to bring your own toys.” Chang Ying continued.
Ye Xun’s hand trembled on his spoon while Chang Min’s fingers shook against his phone. “Mom, we got it. Please, stop.” Chang Min pleaded.

Chang Min and Ye Xun wanted to crawl under the table and hide. They don’t know if they are going to survive the rest of the dinner at this rate.
