Mistakenly Saving the VillainCh120.3 - Extras: Small Fragments, No Regrets in this Life

After Qing Luan returned to the divine realm, although she still worked as an assistant for Qingshi Shenjun, managing the envoys and attendants, she no longer had to spend all her time studying. 5oPJ3a

Every day she would fly to the garden to pick the most beautiful fresh flowers, and decorate the Cloud Dwelling Courtyard beautifully.

On this day, a swan goose flew over and upon landing on the ground, turned into a familiar beautiful young man.

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

Ming Hong: “Qing Luan Jiejie, have you sealed all your memories of the small world?”

Qing Luan trimmed the flowering branches and said casually, “En, it’s been sealed.” HugNzw

Ming Hong had a hidden bitterness, “Qing Luan Jiejie, we had a predestined relationship in the small world.”

“I’ve forgotten it,” Qing Luan teased with a smile, “I couldn’t have had any relationship with xiao guitou.”

Ming Hong was so angry. It was by chance that he had grown up in the divine realm and Qing Luan had taken care of him. Back then, he wasn’t very sensible and in order to get Qing Luan Jiejie’s attention, he turned into a bear kid. This dark history caused him to be seen as a child by Qing Luan no matter how old he grew to be.

He had harbored a secret love for Qing Luan for many years and he was unable to make any progress. After much difficulty, he finally succeeded in the small world. They became a loving couple for a lifetime. He couldn’t bear to have his memories sealed but Qing Luan was saying that she had her’s sealed…

When Qing Luan had passed away, they clearly promised to be together in their next life…

Women always refuse to own up to a debt!

Wait a minute!

Had Qing Luan really sealed her memory? Or was she teasing him again? 5ZluRe

Ming Hong rolled his eyes and sighed, “Do you know that unfilial great-grandson you left in the small world, called Song Jincheng? Now, he is nothing but a fop. He completely neglects his studies and his parents can no longer control him. Forget about inheriting the operations of the Medicine King’s Valley. All he does is eat, drink and be merry. It is said that he has even taken another family’s child to go to a brothel to do who knows what…”

Over the years, they have traveled to many famous places. Everywhere he went, he would write down the local conditions and customs — the delicacies, the beauties and the sights. Later, following Yuwen Yu’s advise, he collaborated with a bookstore and published a book called “Jincheng’s Travels”. Because of the humorous language and because his topics were interesting, the book took the cultivation world by storm. It sold tons of copies and he was constantly being asked for a sequel.

He was getting a lot of money for his book and Song Jincheng was no longer afraid of his parents cutting off his allowance.

Yuwen Yu shouldered his luggage. “Where are we going to this time?”

Song Jincheng was very experienced. “To Feng Cheng. There’s a popular lady there whose sword dance, they say, is superb.” NYR19z

Yuwen Yu nodded. “I’ll listen to you.”

Song Jincheng: “Their mead over there is supposed to be amazing. Let’s try it.”

Yuwen Yu: “By the way, weren’t your parents furious last time? Saying that you’ve shamed your ancestor by not inheriting the family business?”

Song Jincheng didn’t care. “It’s fine. My ancestors won’t be jumping out of their coffins to scold me anyway.” x0eXm7

(No, they’re quickly heading your way.)

Yuwen Yan looked at the runaway letter on the table, threw it into the garbage heap in the corner and sighed.

Over the years, he has gone from furious, to sulking, to resigned. 3PmCtf

The eldest son was useless. It was time to have a second child…

He wanted a cute and loving daughter. She won’t always butt heads with him and then run away from home with a man, right?

Lady Nian taught Duo Duo with meaningful and heartfelt words. “When it comes to men, don’t look at their faces. Beautiful men are very deceptive. They’ll force you to answer exercise sheets.”

Duo Duo shivered. “That’s terrible.”

Xian Ling Island’s punishments came mostly in the form of exercise problems. Everyone was scared of this.

This was especially true for those little pretty boys who wanted to abduct female cultivators. Every one that Lady Nian caught was sent to the dark room. According to their crime, they would each start with 10,000 papers and they were not allowed to leave until they finished. isX3nA

It was said that the educational effect was excellent.

After being released from prison, those pretty boys would be left swaying on their feet. They would feel weak at the very sight of a pretty female cultivator and would no longer dare to entertain any flowery thougths.

Yue Wuhuan took Song Qingshi back to the modern world that he missed most. kdFC6d

The Song family had already become a famous international company on the Top 100 Richest list under the leadership of its domineering female president.

Yue Wuhuan found the reincarnation of the Song father, mother and sister, took their souls and once again re-wove the past.

That day, everyone had the same beautiful dream.

In a world many, many, many years past, Song Qingshi’s gradual paralysis was healed and everyone declared it a medical miracle. 1v0Dj

The Song Family led a very happy life.

The Song family sister continued her battles in the business world but her husband was a stay-at-home artist. The two had a happy marriage. Her younger brother became a bigshot in the medical industry. Later, he brought back a boyfriend named Yue Wuhuan, a world-famous musician.

After the Song family’s initial panic, they open-mindedly accepted their son’s orientation and gave them their blessings.

Everyone lived happily their entire lives. Z9YJNq

The Song father and mother lived to be a hundred years old and they were known by all to be a loving couple.

The Song sister and her husband had a harmonious relationship and they enjoyed successful careers. They had twin daughters.

Yue Wuhuan and Song Qingshi walked down life holding hands, until their hairs turned white with age.

When everyone of the Song family woke up, although they couldn’t remember the contents of the dream, they knew that it’d been a very sweet dream. It seemed like something that had been missing in the depths of their souls had been filled. They felt an indescribable sense of happiness and reassurance throughout their whole bodies. T6SvJL

The sun was shining outside the window, and the warm breeze sent in the fragrance of flowers.

The world was filled noise. Gains and losses were but things of the heart.

There are already no regrets in this life.

Translator’s note: And so ends our story. They lived happily ever after. Awww…Thank you all so much for joining me until the end. Thank you for not being daunted by all the thunder warnings. I hope you have all enjoyed this book as much as I have and I hope I can see you in my next project. WfEqGZ

Thank you for translating this novel!

  9. MISVIL was part of my everyday life. I have to wake up early for school, and MISVIL updates exactly at the time I can read it comfortably on the bus. Now I can’t imagine waking up without anticipating the next chapter of MISVIL. THANK YOU, TRANSLATOR SAMA!! This novel will always be amazing! QAQ

  10. Thank you for bringing this story to us, I always read it at 1am in the morning before bed when it updates…now I need to find a new bedtime story.🙁

  11. Thank you for translating this beautiful piece. It was totally worth the time and dedication ❤️ Thanks author-san for writing the story and thank you to the past me who decided to read this novel after doing a multiple choice!

  12. Yup, this was a nice story :3 Of course, there were parts that I didn’t fancy to read bc they didn’t interest me but aside from that I had my fun :3 So, thanks so much for bringing this novel to us, guys (シ_ _)シ

  13. Thank You sosososo much for this wonderful journey with amazing characters, great plot and psychological problems! o(≧∇≦o) I love this novel greatly and can talking about it for few days non stop. One more time, thank You for Your incredible job and sharing this story I wish You the best and a lot fantastic novels to read. See You in another projects! ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡

  14. These last 3 updates left me with a bittersweet feeling of wanting to see the end of the story but not actually wanting it to end.

Thank you so much for translating this wonderfull story (T^T)/ It’s become one of my favorites.

  15. Thank you so much (˘︶˘).。.:*♡

Вы меня не поймёте, но это было прекрасно✨ Жаль все однажды заканчивается. Каждую ночь ждать главу было так захватывающе~

    Конец удивительный, мне понравилось))

    • I think so too! Also, did anyone notice how beautifully the author closed the circle on that? The snake started out as An Long’s subordinate in the small world, tricked his way into being the “child” of our favorite couple, and is going to back to being the subordinate of An Long in the future

  16. Thank you so much for the hard work, and congratulations on wrapping up the book! This journey has been joyous and bittersweet, and had paid me company for over an year of my life. They’ve practically become people I’ve known all my life, haha.

  17. I didn’t expect this extra would leave me feeling even more emotional than the final chapter.

Qing Luan teasing Ming Hong and then promptly deciding to hunt down her wayward descendent was so funny and the reference to poor Lady Nian’s exercise sheet trauma even after all these years made me snort out loud.

I am strongly inclined to believe there might be something more going on with Song Jincheng and Yuwen Yuand (though equally they really could just be really good friends..), and the dream reunion made me feel so conflicted over how sweet but sad it was.

Thank you so much for all your work dearest translator!! I will definitely check out the other two works you mentioned and see if the stories are to my liking!

  18. These are so sweet! Thank you sleepy.little.mushrooms for your hard work!

It was a roller-coaster reading this story, it took me to many unexpected places. But I’m glad I stayed till the end~ I’m a bit sad it’s really the end, but overall – very happy ^_^!

  19. Thank you so much to the translator and editor! I really enjoyed this story. The story and narration is very good. The TN and footnotes also helped a lot. 😀

  20. Thank you so much! Surprisingly I wasn’t traumatized by the angst at all. Qingshi was such a steadfast and reliable protagonist there was no doubt in my heart that he would succeed. The fact that Ao Long Dao want have those memories is good too~ and as my fav danger noodle, I hope he would be happy all his life!

  21. Finally had time to read this. I wanted a story to make cry and this certainly had me weeping at midnight.

I really liked that time and time again they fell in love and their blood red peach blossom soulmark was my favorite part.~Thanks a lot for the translation♡♡♡

  22. Awww that’s so sweet! Thank you very much for all of your efforts in translating this wonderful story! It was truly the quickest story being translated from all the novel I’ve remember~

I’m not joking it really was ✧(>o<)ノ✧

    。:゚(;´∩`;)゚:。

  26. Thank you for translating this! Everything wrapped up nicely, I’m only sad An Yong didn’t get a pair, but he wanted it that way so I guess that counts as a happy ending for him?

  27. Thank you! Loved reading this translation and am gonna miss these characters.

Best I’ve read in really long while. Kudos the the Author and translators.

  28. Thank you so very much for translating and sharing this novel with us!! Thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel! I fell in love with every character they’re so lovable! Once again thank you for the translation!😊💕

  29. Loved it really much… Although didn’t expect all of them to be from the divine realm… hehe

Anyways… Lots of love to the translator!! 🥰🥰🥰

  30. Gosh, I thought this novel is a fluff but I cried so many times bc of this. It’s so touching. I’m envious of SQ and YW love. One of the best couples I’ve read. Thank you so much for translating this!

  31. Thank you for the translation! Really enjoyed this story, there’s so many heartbreaking moments. But why it happens and the management of the trauma they caused are explain. The happy moments are so sweet. The supporting characters have their own personality. I love this story so much!

  32. Interesting extra at the end.

Well thanks for translating this novel. I enjoyed it. To be honest i found it difficult to read at 1st. It was too tragic and depressing. But im glad i waited patiently for the plot to develop. It was interesting and unique (for me at least). Although im familiar with cultivation and transmigration i usually dont enjoy reading tragic plots. The plot twists kept me engaged in the story. I also really was curious about their pasts. Anyways Im really happy with the (happy) ending (including general’s An’s ).

  33. This is one of the best couples I’ve ever read about. They are really meant for each other. For all their flaws and difficult moments, they stayed with each other no matter the pain and suffering. Ahhhh i really love their relationship and how they influenced each other to be better but also accept each other as how they were.

I’m so happy that the good people we met throughout their story got a nice or at least peaceful ending too. Gonna miss this so much.

Thank you so much for the translation!

  34. Thank you so so much for translating this story!! It quickly became one of my absolute favorites. It was such an amazing journey!

  35. This is such an amazing work!! And thank you so much for translating it faithfully ❤️ Im gonna miss Wuhuan and Qingshi 😭❤️

  36. Very wholesome story. Indeed One of the best I’ve read so far. These little extras actually patch up the cracks in my heart from Those down moments in the story since the beginning.

Thank u for the translations ~ Love you <3

  37. I was unexpectedly surprised by this novel, and in a really good way ! Thank you so much for doing this translation ! It was a real rollercaster of emotions and i definitely don’t regret the day where i decided to start it.

  38. Awwww, I’ll MISS this soo MUCH !!

I’m also anticipating An long’s possible romance with Song Xiao Bai ahhaah!

An Long ! You tenderly kissed Song Qingshi’s forehead before and acted spoiled to him before to get his attention!! It must have felt good if he remembered that but he sealed his memory …awwww

I’m so thankful to the author for making an extra about the other happenings in the story.

And about the previous Master of Song Qingshi that left the portrait with no pic but abstract or something, is it also him in the previous life that put it? That’s one of the plot that the author forgot to explain I think.. even the Golden merits inside the system, when was it put in there.

Anyway I’m so happy for them !!!

Thanks for the hard work and finishing this until the end! Thanks for sharing this wonderful novel!

    😘

  39. Thank you sleepy little mushroom for bringing this story to light. It was heartfelt and lovely. ❤️❤️

  42. Beautiful novel, honestly so heart-wrenching, but with such a warm conclusion of the story is just… It takes my breath away. Thank you for translating this amazing novel for us lowly readers 🙇☺️😭

  43. Thank you very much for your hard work such a good translations and for translating this wonderful novel! Also thank you very much for sharing this great novel to us!!!🙇🏻‍♀️ I wish you all the best in everyday life!!!♡(> ਊ <)♡

  44. This novel is in my top 5. I loved how the author flowed the story, the sections, characters, and especially the end where everything was pulled together. Reading it was like traveling down a tree, from the top of its branches to the uniformed trunk. In conclusion I loved it and the fact it didn’t give me any heartache or toothpain and a satisfying ending has a sweet taste to it.

  45. Such an amazing novel. I’m seriously going to miss Yue Wuhuan and Song Qingshi. Thank you so much for the translation and all your hard work.

  46. Thank you to everyone!

It’s been a ride and I love this novel so much, I could barely write it in words.

I will probably be back again here as this is such a treasured novel in my heart.

    Hugs everyone

  47. Thank you so much for translating this entire story.

Wow. Just the way the entire plot unfolded, that was one whole adventure I’d embarked on. I don’t feel particularly sad, incomplete– I feel content with how things have ended, and nostalgic.

  48. Thank you for your hard work!

This is one of my faves from now on. I’m so satisfied should I just reread it huhu. Till we meet again Song Qingshi and Yue Wuhuan 🌸💖

  49. Such a mavelous work. Hundred chapters of the sadness and happiness. Thank you so much for translating this. Open the door for me, introduce and let me in to this world. I have a great time. Your work safe my day. Make me be able to pass through the bad day. Thank you so much.

  50. I’m so glad no one died (not the important people anyway), and everyone has a happy ending, what an amazing ride! I’ll miss this fic now that it ended. Thank the author and the translator for this wonderful journey.

  51. Thank you for your hard work! I had a great time reading this novel, it shows how the author kept to her original idea, because it flowed really well.

  52. I’m sad that this already ends now. I want… more. ㅠㅠ

Anyway, thank you so much for your hard work and for exerting efforts in translating this beautiful novel. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece to us. 😊

  53. I’m sad that this already ends now. I want… more. ㅠㅠ

Anyway, thank you so much for your hard work and for exerting efforts in translating this beautiful novel. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece to us. 😊

  54. I would rate this novel 5/5 stars if the author put chapter 118 as a prelude. I kind of misunderstood ML and it spoilt my reading experience.

Anyway, this novel is unique among danmei novels. I would recommend everyone to read this novel even though they are not a fan of the historical/cultivation genre.

  55. Ahhh, I finally resolved myself to finish this novel and rise from the pit I fell into when I first read this. Although it wasn’t as dog-blooded and tragic as other cultivation novels I had read, this had a special spot of its own. I had a hard time moving past some of the chapters because of how much hatred and frustration the evil beasts brought to me with their arrogance and debauched ways. If I could, I would have castrated them a thousand times over and plunged them into misery even hell would not even be a haven for them.

Regardless, I love how the characters have been fleshed out, and how the foreshadowing and foreboding elements in the story were written. It was tragic, in its own way. It was painful and my heart hurt for the characters at so many points in the story that I wanted nothing more than to simply hug them.

I loved how everything progressed and how each chapter kept me hooked and waiting for what was to come. The ending was good, I am quite happy with it. Though I was looking forward to more after-story about An Long and Xiao Bai, maybe not as romantic partners, but perhaps as comrades in arms. I can just imagine his exasperation when after they return from subduing the demons, Xiao Bai chooses to actively abandon his loyal comrade and brother to hug and be spoiled by his ‘daddy’ HAHAHHA

Anyways. I really loved the translation! Thank you so much for giving the time and effort to share this work of art to others.

  56. Amazing story, perfect translation. I loved it, initially I thought it to be depressing story, but after few channels it really felt what phoenix reborn means for character…

  57. thank you so much for all your hard work translating misv, I cried and laughed so much, this has become one of my favorites that breaks my heart to let go

  58. The journey has come to an end! Thank you for translating this!! Wouldn’t it be good if there’s more stories like this? Like great ones? I’ll miss Qingshi and Wuhuan, most definitely. This is definitely be added to my all-time favourite stories. I wish I didn’t have to let this story go. But I’ve reached the ending already. Again, thank you for the hardworking— translating this gem. I’ve enjoyed it so much, riding this rollercoaster of a story. 🧡🧡🧡

  59. I love how all loose ends are tied, didn’t forget even the modern Song family. Contrary to everyone that wanted General An to find his love, I actually liked for once someone that trueself only had battles, remain like that. He really is a valiant person whether journeying to save his sole sparring friend, sealing memories of the only one that had moved his heart after thousandth years due to its being unrequited and compromising dogfood for jars of liquor. Tbh, this book reminded me of “Holding on to my man” in the aspect of how the plot is woven intricatedly yet unbroken until the big reveal in few last chapters. Of course, this one personally is more fleshed out than “Holding on to My Man” probably because it is transmigration not QT. Thank you for translating this project till the true end. Great ride!
  60. thank youu sooo muchhh for translating

( ◜‿◝ )♡, I’ll miss them sm, and thank god i finished reading this before i die

  61. Goodbye to another great novel…this one accidentally found, like a diamond among garbage

Thank you translator, for the amazing translations and your continuing efforts~

All loose ends tied…everyone gets a happy ending…even Song mother-father, family gets a happy ending…sigh my soul is filled too

  62. Thank you very much. This is my first time reading Chinese (BL) novel. I typically consume manhua or fanfics of titles I’m already familiar with. This is such a great introduction to bl novels. I want to read more!

  63. AAAHHH i have no words but also so many words. This story was so so so beautiful with beautiful characters, beautiful feelings and beautiful story. I can’t get enough.

Usually after reading a good story I’m left hanging feeling the need for more. But this time, I feel content. I’m so happy with this story and ending that all I’m left with are good feelings and a sense of completeness.

I will most probably read this amazing book again and again

  64. Thank you very much for translating the story. It’s now one of my absolute favorites. Wishing the phoenix and his little stone happiness.

  65. I loved this! It had so many twists that it’s the book I feel best represents the feeling of going on a rollercoaster people talk about with books.

    Thanks for translating!

  66. Woooo and it’s done! Thank you for all your efforts. The extras were especially wonderful and I wish there was more of them.

  67. Awesome 💯

Interesting fact: I read Campus Idol then BBVBB then MISVIL… Your translations as a translator are just…. addicting!

  68. Super thankful for the translation. I have a limited vocabulary and a harder time understanding literary devices from an unsteady education. Thanks to the translation notes and good translation, I understood a lot and learned new vocab!!!

I absolutely loved this novel!!! <3333 tysm for the translations ^^

  69. This novel… It was so good. I like it! However, there was a moment where I felt I couldn’t hold on because it was too sad or heartbreaking but I’m glad I managed to push through. One of the main reasons I managed to get through and finish this novel is: I wanted to know the ending (the explanation of the events and the happy ending of our eccentric but sweet couple). I am thoroughly satisfied. Thank you, translator and everyone who helped in the translation of this novel. I hope you all have a nice day 😊❤️.

  70. I’m so fk sad that it’s over TT This novel definitely is in my Top 10 Best ancient danmei novels

  71. thank you so much for your hardwork! i’m so happy that I have this beautiful story a chance, i’ve never been felt so involved reading a novel before; the emotions, plot, characters. It’s just amazing

  72. Thank you so much for translating… 🥹

This was a really good story… I think it’s one of my favorites.

I plan to read the other novels you translated ^^!!

  73. I loved each and every extra in this chapter. I’m so glad everyone got their happy endings they deserved. This just brought tears to my eyes ’cause I’m very happy for every character in this book 😭🖤

  74. At last I just want to say thank you very much for the translation. It was very good.

At first I kept putting off reading this book because I despise rape# plots but I’m so glad that I read this book. It was soo different from those other system books and much much better than I expected.

This is one of the best book I’ve ever read

    🖤

  75. Muito fofos não queria ter acabado de ler😭 Lady Nian tem trauma até hj kkkk, achei fofo que todos os personagens tiveram um final feliz,❤️

  76. Tysm for translating this out of every other book, I almost didn’t read it, but the premise was worded super nicely that I really liked it!!

Bittersweet pain, creative author and thought through storyline and very enjoyable writing styles!!

  77. I can’t believe that this amazing story is finished 😭

I love it a lot, thank you so much for all your work translating and let us read it ❤️

  78. My one prevailing question: I thought Song Qingshi started the novel having memories from a previous life where he had ALS and died. But then later, the backstory of him starting out as being the blue stone contradicted that.

I definitely appreciated this author’s ability to tie in all the different plots, but I think I liked the simplicity of the story in the beginning.

Glad I finished it though! The main pair were too cute.

  79. After 6 mental breakdowns due to mysophobia, 120+ chapters of my favourite novel ever, the story came to a close I could have never expected it to end like this! Thank you for the translation and have a wonderful day ^^
