  1. Oof. I think I'ma feel sorry for the scum pair… For less than 1 nanosecond before jeering at them. AHAHAHAH a pair made in heaven, I swear. Thank you for the chapter!

  2. Thanks for the chapter! And now we are getting into the standard xianxia trope of getting revenge on the rival families after you have leveled up beyond them! Though in this case, it's by MC hugging a bigger thigh. winkwink

    Translation notes:

RE footnote 1 — It is more often the former but can just as well mean the latter. Puns are fun!

“Ah Zuo, I still need to work hard for you.” –> Actually should be “Ah Zuo, I still you to work hard.” After all, because it's not time to share the secret hand arts yet, MC is still going to be in charge of producing the ever broadening range of pills that GYTH is going to be using and selling on the market.

"This can be considered hard work" / 这算什么辛苦 –> Is better as "How can this be considered hard work?" GZ is protesting that making more pills is considered an arduous burden on him, since he needs to do that stuff anyways to keep up with cultivation.

"Ah Zuo, do you want to something?” –> Missing a word even in the English reading. Should be "do you want to do something?"

  3. Thanks for the chapter~!
I don't think "emcee" is the right word for the announcer (it's a friggin ancient Chinese Xianxia BL novel after all, emphasis on ANCIENT CHINESE and XIANXIA). Try host or announcer~!

  4. It's technically not wrong, but the feeling and connotation of emcee is too modern.

  5. Was chapter 32 accidentally replaced with chapter 31?

  6. Thank you so much for translating this, I have been reading this from the beginning since yesterday. I can see from the comments above you have fixed the chapter links, but for me chapter 31 and 32 are still identical, no matter where I search I still can't find the correct chapter 32. Are you able to check again? Sorry to be such a pain 🙁

  7. Thank you! Yes I tried going through novel updates and the table of contents. The chapter number and title are correct but the text of the chapter is duplicated. Thanks again.

  8. *”That guy who casually pursued Qi Tianyou, who ruined Qi Tianyou’s life, who was inconsistent in love and lacking in justice, who wasn’t willing to lend a so-called friend a helping hand, who turned a one-eighty and accepted the adoration of Qi Tianyou’s nemesis. That scumbag Bai Wenjun.” *

This. Hahahaha! Ah Zhuo’s whole tirade was awesome!

  9. Honestly, thatt Qi Feng doesn’t even have the skill the to roll pills – I feel sorry for the furnace. 🤭

Scum like these two never do well no matter the novel or their gender.
