    RE footnote 1 — It is more often the former but can just as well mean the latter. Puns are fun!

    “Ah Zuo, I still need to work hard for you.” –> Actually should be “Ah Zuo, I still you to work hard.” After all, because it's not time to share the secret hand arts yet, MC is still going to be in charge of producing the ever broadening range of pills that GYTH is going to be using and selling on the market.

    "This can be considered hard work" / 这算什么辛苦 –> Is better as "How can this be considered hard work?" GZ is protesting that making more pills is considered an arduous burden on him, since he needs to do that stuff anyways to keep up with cultivation.

    "Ah Zuo, do you want to something?” –> Missing a word even in the English reading. Should be "do you want to do something?"

    I don't think "emcee" is the right word for the announcer (it's a friggin ancient Chinese Xianxia BL novel after all, emphasis on ANCIENT CHINESE and XIANXIA). Try host or announcer~!
