The Villain's Attack PlanCh48 - Fury

Chapter 48: Fury

After hearing that, Wen ZhiChu looked at Qin JiaShu stunned as if dumbfounded. No one has ever taught him something like this. qIseEf

When he was younger, he had parents to love and pamper him. His personality was lively and bubbly. He never experienced bullying nor felt worry over that kind of thing. He only knew that he shouldn’t do bad things, and as long as he behaved courteously as taught by his parents, everything would be fine.

When he got older and his parents left, he was kicked back and forth between his relatives like a rubber ball. He didn’t dare to say anything when bullied by others. No one was there to back him up and no one taught him to fight back.

Although retaliating after being hit was really not something that required teaching and many people did it instinctively to protect themselves, Wen ZhiChu suppressed it forcefully. He didn’t want to cause trouble. If he fought back, it might be even more cumbersome than he could possibly imagine……

For a second, Wen ZhiChu stood in place somewhat hesitantly. 9dBcd7

Seeing him taking so long and not moving, Qin JiaShu said in a cold and sharp voice: “You don’t want to?”

Wen ZhiChu stammered: “I don’t…don’t dare.”

“……”

A breath of air stuck in his chest, unable to go up or down, Qin JiaShu said with a darkened face: “I told you to hit him, what’s there to fear?”

These words made Wen ZhiChu jolt in fright. For those who didn’t know, they’d think the two people standing afar were actually in cohorts instead.

That person had his arms pulled behind his back by Qin JiaShu, unable to move. Hearing that Wen ZhiChu didn’t dare to do it, he instantly let out a breath of relief in his heart. He wanted to release a loud laugh.

Fuck, he ran into a living Buddha.

“It’s better…it’s better to call the police.” 1QNVp7

As soon as Wen ZhiChu spoke, that person felt his knees turn heavy; he fell onto his knees to the ground.

“Why don’t you just punch me instead.”

Wen ZhiChu: …… XkWdlt

Who would have thought he was actually a devil.

Hearing they were going to report to the police, that person instantly panicked. Looking at Wen ZhiChu, he said: “I’m sorry for just now, I was too riled up. I shouldn’t have done it. It’s just 10 yuan, there’s no need for such a trivial matter. How about this, you hit me. Hit me until you’re satisfied, how’s that?”

Saying this, he went to grab Wen ZhiChu’s hand to swing onto his own face. Seeing this sight with his ink-black eyes, Qin JiaShu frowned. Seeing the person trying to curry favor with him, Wen ZhiChu hastily pulled his hand out of the other’s grip and back up a few steps.

Immediately afterwards, the three people went to the local police station.

Seeing these relatively young students walking inside, the policeman on duty was stunned briefly: “Do you need any help, little friends?”

Seeing the policeman, Wen ZhiChu was actually somewhat nervous for a moment: “There was… was an attempted robbery.”

The policeman’s gaze shifted between the three people: “Let’s sit down and talk.” uK3ZvV

The policeman examined him and observed the wounds on his body. There were abrasions on his face. The hair in front of his forehead was styled so his forehead couldn’t be seen. The policeman thought he received an injury to the head and said in concern: “Do you have trouble remembering? Did you visit a hospital?”

That person: “I was the robber.” 58cPvB

“……”

“Oh, my apologies.” The policeman looked towards Wen ZhiChu, who had one swollen cheek: “You’re……”

“I was… the one being robbed.”

“Very good, little friend. Are you feeling calm right now?” PM6Tz2

Wen ZhiChu nodded.

“Then please describe your experience of the incident.”

Wen ZhiChu stammered and gave a general explanation of the affair. Amidst this, he also accounted for Qin JiaShu’s heroic act of bravery.

While the policeman recorded the statement, he comforted, asking: “Do you two… know each other? Are you fellow classmates or something? Were there any conflicts between you guys?” EFGy0B

Wen ZhiChu shook his head: “No… we don’t know each other.”

For a second, he didn’t know if he needed to report their relations with each other, but still said: “I’m the plaintiff.”

The policeman: ……

Qin JiaShu, who was sitting to the side with a dark look on his face: …… 127zYI

Then the policeman asked both parties to contact their family guardians. Wen ZhiChu pressed his lips together, a somewhat strained expression on his face. Qin JiaShu looked down at Wen ZhiChu’s hands, which were clutching tightly onto the material of his pants; his gaze turned heavy.

The policeman thought Wen ZhiChu didn’t want to make his family worry and said: “Just make the call. It’s fine. Your parents will also feel assured after being informed of this.”

Wen ZhiChu had a complex expression. For a second, he didn’t know what to say. It’s quite a while before he finally said: “I’m…… an adult.”

At first, the policeman was taken aback. Still thinking that Wen ZhiChu didn’t want to let his parents know, he was about to persuade some more when the policewoman next to him touched his arm and shook her head. Finally, the policeman came to the realization. 1xLArH

“My apologies.”

Wen ZhiChu waved his hands: “No…not a problem.”

Wen ZhiChu sat to the side awaiting the result. Then he secretly looked towards the person next him. The other’s face color seemed to have never alleviated from the start.

Very quickly, a 40-some middle aged man walked inside. Seeing his son, he started to curse and scold loudly. Then he pleaded with the policemen to forgive his son since it was his first offense. 3v D5z

The policeman said sternly: “You shouldn’t be saying these words to me.”

The man turned his head and looked at Wen ZhiChu, who was sitting nearby with his head lowered and a pitiful look on his face, the appearance of an easy pushover.

Taking out a wad of money from his wallet, he immediately attempted to stuff it into Wen ZhiChu’s hands: “You take this.”

Wen ZhiChu hastily shook his head, wanting to push away the money: “I…I don’t want it.” 9G2 tx

“Little student, my son is still young, only 18 this year and not very responsible, but you should know that this child is definitely not malicious at heart. Lately, he’s been very stressed. What happened today was definitely not his real intentions. You just take this money, don’t be polite.”

Wen ZhiChu took a glance at him, chest stuffy and aching dully. If all of the hurt in this world could be brushed off using excuses, then were victims supposed to think that they deserve it being unlucky?

Wen ZhiChu avoided looking at that man’s face, afraid that his speech would lack confidence: “18 isn’t… isn’t young.”

That man was taken aback. For a second, he didn’t know what Wen ZhiChu was thinking about internally. iXmQc9

“Can…can file an investigation.”

As soon as the man heard ‘file an investigation’, his face fell instantly. The artificial smile on his face also dropped.

“What does a student like you know? Where’s your parents? Call your parents here to talk with me.”

Wen ZhiChu’s expression tightened. EdUZza

A voice spoke up: “We’re not settling this privately. What do you not understand?”

The man looked at Qin JiaShu: “This has nothing to do with you students.”

Qin JiaShu just happened to be highly agitated and annoyed, a fire burning ferociously inside his heart. He stood and straightened up. His 1.9 meters in height made the man jump in fright.

Although they had only passed the basic process of recording statements, refusing to approve of a private settlement meant refusing to approve a private settlement. sfEA8I

Even though they were students, the other party was big and strong, with a terrifying expression. The man didn’t dare to argue obstinately anymore.

Immediately afterwards, he looked at the abrasion on his son’s face and started to become unreasonable. In an ugly tone, he started to question Qin JiaShu: “Where did the injury on my son’s face come from? Did you hit him purposely? Is this intentional harm?!”

Hearing this, Wen ZhiChu instantly panicked and hastily got up to stand in front of Qin JiaShu: “It has nothing…nothing to do with him. You…you guys… you guys are the robbers……”

Seeing him panic so hard, he couldn’t even speak properly, the policeman hastily stepped forward and comforted: “Don’t be scared, little student. Our nation does not possess the concept of punishing people for their heroic efforts.” 2BkidP

Saying this, he looked sternly at the man: “Making things difficult for a child? I feel absolutely ashamed for you.”

Hearing this, Wen ZhiChu finally let out a breath of relief.

It was already late at night. The remaining information for the investigation still needed to be verified before the case was filed. After the suspect was detained, the policeman allowed Wen ZhiChu and Qin JiaShu to return first.

Wen ZhiChu gave thanks and then exited the police station with Qin JiaShu. l693F8

After walking a distance, Wen ZhiChu gathered his courage to look towards Qin JiaShu and said sincerely: “I really… really want to thank you for today.”

He looked at the brick road on the ground: “If you…you weren’t here……”

“You’d get beaten to death?”

Taken aback, Wen ZhiChu wanted to say something, but he was cut off first. 3YLxt1

“Why didn’t you hit back when I told you to just now?”

The other’s voice was heavy and deep, like a string being pressed against the heart, heavy and sharp. Only a light press downwards was enough to cut the blood and flesh.

Wen ZhiChu: “In a lawful society, violence…violence is not acceptable.”

Qin JiaShu walked towards him and closed up the distance. He carried an inexplicable sense of pressure. For a second, Wen ZhiChu felt somewhat ill at ease. The other’s broad, strong chest touched him and forced him to back up repeatedly. VwJ5Ld

Qin JiaShu pressed his hands against Wen ZhiChu’s cheeks: “With your appearance, you deserve getting bullied!”

Wen ZhiChu looked at him incredulously, a sense of hurt and defeat clear in his eyes. However, he looked at Qin JiaShu, not daring to speak, his countenance crestfallen like a sad little animal.

Qin JiaShu frowned deeply. This kind of look again.

For some unknown reason, ever since seeing this person tonight, the fire in his heart has yet to extinguish, but on the contrary, flourished more and more intensely as time went by. The accumulated feeling of pressure has also reached its peak. V64q5k

Qin JiaShu squeezed his elegant, long fingers on Wen ZhiChu’s cheeks as the corner of his mouth curved into a mocking smile: “Feeling grieved?”

Wen ZhiChu wanted to dodge back in pain, but the other didn’t give him the opportunity at all.

“It’s because you look like this that someone would target you.”

Qin JiaShu really had no right to say these words either. After all, it’s not like he didn’t have any of those absurd ideas about Wen ZhiChu previously either. rDVmce

However, it didn’t lessen the anger that he couldn’t vent anywhere right now. Looking at Wen ZhiChu’s delicate, fair white face, he warned verbally: “If you don’t hit back this time, then there will be a next time, and there will be countless times after the next time.”

For a second, Wen ZhiChu was speechless in fear.

The other’s figure was big and tall. Compared to him, Wen ZhiChu wasn’t even on the same level. The other’s large palm was scorching hot like a raging inferno, burning Wen ZhiChu so much that even his breathing turned somewhat chaotic.

The two of them were in a dimly lit corner. The dim yellow street light shone halfway into the corner, hiding Qin JiaShu’s extraordinarily handsome face within the shadows. His gaze was dark  and deep, like a beast concealed in the darkness. tGuLor

“People like you, who are so timid you don’t even dare to look at others while speaking, deserve being bullied. Do you think just because someone saved you once, there will be a second time? Who’d seek trouble for themselves for no reason.”

Saying this, he squeezed Wen ZhiChu’s chin and forced him to look at himself. Wen ZhiChu was forced to lift his head. His fair white neck raised upward in an arc as he struggled without much strength, looking pitiful as if anyone could take advantage of him.

It’s as if at this moment, you could do anything with him and he wouldn’t even resist, nor dare to resist.

“No one will help you selflessly, and no one will like someone who’s always causing trouble for others.” rLkHGf

Wen ZhiChu: “But I……”

“Not fighting back is attracting trouble!”

Wen ZhiChu looked at him, eyes trembling.

“If you keep looking all timid and submissive like this, no one will like you……” Qin JiaShu looked at him with gloomy eyes: “I also won’t like you. Understand?” kTfFvp

Wen ZhiChu nodded with a tremble: “Un..understand. Weak nations cannot..... sustain diplomacy.”

Qin JiaShu: ……

  1. That last line from QJS felt like a mini confession >_< ah but WZC always making the mood turn weird

  2. I was uspevting but jia shu is definitely.. a sadist. 👀 our chu chu sigh a long road is ahead of you. Jiayou~

  3. I hope that our Zhichu’s timid nature can slowly be shed and we get to see him really learn to stand up for himself. Took me a long time to actually stand up for myself, learn to have boundaries, and fight back. I always had to try and adjust to the moods of the people around me, and keep myself small. Its an upsetting feeling to know you don’t deserve the bad treatment like you are trash, but can’t even fight back because you have no one to support you. The worst thing in life is when you lose your sense of being and the cruelty of the people around you grind your own self worth down until even you think you deserve to be treated the shitty way they did.

Anyways, I look forward to seeing Zhichu grow and spread his wings. I mean, it’ll be fine with me if he still has some semblance of his timidness, but eyy, he does have some claws too. They just need to be sharpened.

  4. thank you for the chapter!! I looooooovvveee this novel 😭♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
