The A in the Opposite Dorm Always Thinks I'm Pretending to be a BChapter 27

Story starts changing from the previous version from here~

They didn’t know if it was a placebo effect or if it was really from the blessing, Ning An and He Xin both passed through the exam without a hitch. In the final close combat section, they had to randomly draw their opponents. xzdaIW

Ning An drew Xu Yu Sheng, while He Xin drew Chen Si Yu.

“Hah, He Xiao Xin.” Chen Si Yu intimately wrapped his arm around He Xin’s shoulder and went to register with the teacher in charge of scoring. “Although we’re from the same dorm, I won’t go easy on you.”

“I will also do my best!”

Standing to the side, Ning An and Xu Yu Sheng looked at each other and laughed. RTvw L

“This really seems to be fate. However, I won’t show any mercy.” Xu Yu Sheng finished warming up and put on a wrist guard. “You should be careful.”

“Maybe it’s a blessing.” Ning An rotated his neck. “We still haven’t determined who won the fight last time.”

The two of them stood face to face on the combat stage once again. Without the need to probe out each other, they rushed forwards as soon as the teacher blew the whistle.

“Yo, they’ve improved a lot.” Derek and Fu Ke had already finished their exam. Derek felt that the school must have deliberately assigned him to Fu Ke, and as expected, he lost again. When they came out, they just happened to see Ning An and He Xin taking the exam.

Whether it was in their style or their power, they looked like completely different people from before, especially with Ning An’s delicate and fragile young master appearance. Seeing Ning An use a spinning back kick to end the fight, Derek exclaimed, “Beautiful!”

Ning An and Xu Yu Sheng then shook hands and bowed.

“You’ve made a lot of progress.” When Xu Yu Sheng had just started school, he had looked down on the Class 6 crane tails like Ning An, but now his views have already changed.

“How do you think you went?” Fu Ke asked Ning An as they walked to the cafeteria, feeling a little nervous.

“Well, I borrowed your luck.” Ning An waved his hand. Even if he didn’t know how he went in the exam, he was already very happy that finished the end of semester exams. “It’s all thanks to the Study God’s blessing.”

“Do you have any plans for the holidays?” After the exam results come out tomorrow, the majority of students wouldn’t choose to remain at school. Fu Ke learnt from Fu Yue that it was a good opportunity to get closer with friends during vacation. 8LMS5G

“I’ll first go home and sleep for a few days.” Because he had been studying every day during the intense time at the end of the semester, Ning An hadn’t slept well for a month. The dark circles under his eyes were so thick that every time he made a video call, Ning Meng would want to snatch his exercise book and shove him in bed to sleep. “I’ll figure out what to do after I’ve slept enough.”

“En, you’ve worked hard. You should rest well.” Fu Ke still wanted to find something to talk about, when he heard He Xin cry out in alarm behind them.

“There’s maintenance on the route between the Capital Star and Nong Mu Star? All starships have been suspended from travelling on this route?” He Xin stared at his terminal in astonishment. “But I haven’t applied to stay at school. Is it too late to do that now?”

“Then you can just stay at my place. Anyway, my house has a lot of vacant rooms. I can also take you to look around the Capital Star.” Ning An immediately proposed this while taking out his terminal to send Elina a message. “I’ll tell my family.” 6OnkFd

“Wouldn’t this be very troublesome. It’s better if I just apply to stay in school. Since its special circumstances, I should be able to……”

“It doesn’t matter. My mother already agreed.” This was the first time Ning An was bringing over a classmate to stay at his house. He could even sense the happiness and surprise in Elina’s words. “You should also tell your family.”

“Ning An, you live on the Capital Star?”

“Yes. Do you want to come hang out at my place?” Elina would surely be very happy that he invited his classmates over. “However, this will have to wait until I’ve slept for a few days.” A9W0Ia

“Then I’ll wait for your news.” Derek didn’t want to spend the entire day facing his solemn grandfather, father, uncles and older brother. “You can also come to my house to play.”

“You can also come to my place.” Fu Ke suddenly interjected. Derek looked Fu Ke up and down as though he didn’t recognise him.

Did he just take the initiative to invite people? This guy who always keeps to himself and would be lonely until death actually took the initiative to invite people to go to his house? Did I hear wrong or did I go crazy?

Thinking back to Fu Ke’s unusual behaviour over the past few weeks, he suddenly had an outrageous thought. The way he looked at Ning An also became a little different. SsqDbx

“Then let’s get in touch later on.” Ning An wasn’t aware of Derek’s strange gaze. He patted He Xin, “What did your family say?”

“My mother says it’s fine. They’ll be maintenance on that route for a week at most. Are you sure this won’t trouble you?” This was the first time that He Xin was going to stay over at someone else’s house. Although his family had agreed, he was still a little hesitant.

“What trouble? This is nothing.” Anyway, Ning Xin Bo was away from home all year round and Elina was also absent from time to time. Apart from the servants at home, there was only Ning An and Ning Meng. Adding an extra person would make it more lively. “Don’t worry.”

After eating dinner, they returned to their dorms. This was the first time in a while when they could finally relax a little. w2xbrC

The next morning, the rankings for the end of semester exam results came out.

“He Xin, I’m a little nervous. How about you help me look?” The results have already been sent to each of their terminals. Looking at the red notification icon, Ning An didn’t dare to open it.

“I’m also nervous……” He Xin felt pretty good when they had just finished their exams, but the more he thought about it, the more he doubted himself. His hand trembled as it hovered above the red message icon, also hesitant on clicking it.

“Then how about we look at each others?” Ning An brought his display screen in front of He Xin. 9fBYcN

“Okay.” He Xin also moved his display screen in front of Ning An.

The two of them took a deep breath and opened the school results at the same time.

“Fifty sixth!”

“Eighty ninth!” B7Lqlo

They both couldn’t believe the ranking that came out of the other’s mouth and immediately took back their own display screens. Ning An’s finger swiped down on the screen and saw the rankings for the entire year.

The theoretical and physical scores were each worth 100 points. With 196 points, Xu Yu Sheng took first place. Ning An scored 186. Wang Yi followed closely behind Xu Yu Sheng and came in second, scoring one less point than him. Chen Si Yu’s score was one higher than He Xin’s, at 175 points.

“Ning An, what’s this extra credit?” Ning An’s total score was originally not that far up in ranks; he just had a slightly higher score than He Xin. However, after the extra credit was added, it raised his score by several points.

Although he didn’t take first place, Ning An didn’t feel too disappointed. ej0bUx

“I don’t know.” Ning An saw that Xu Yu Sheng also had this bonus, but the amount of points added wasn’t as much as his. He then received a message from Qin Zhao.

[Your grades are pretty good. I said before that I would give you extra credit at the end of the semester, right? Even if it’s now vacation, you must not forget to study. Please earnestly complete the following homework……]

“He Xin, do we have vacation homework?” Ning An felt that he knew where this extra credit came from.

“No.” He Xin happily sent his results to his family. His marks had already exceed his expectations. iEDKRm

“En…… have you packed everything? Are you ready to go?”

It was now almost noon. Wang Yi and Chen Si Yu had already packed up and left. Ning An’s family had also send a chauffeur to come pick them up.

“Yes, let’s go.”

  1. Ok, I need a short info on how the two version are different? Is it just fixed and re-visited text and the general story is the same, if that is the case then ok. But it’s so much work, please don’t overwork and take care of yourself💛

    • The story is pretty much the same up to the middle of this chapter. The updated version of this novel is longer and more realistic. In the previous version, Ning An came second and received scholarship money but here he doesn’t

      • TY. I noticed this detail too. Last time it didn’t have the explanation on why he got scholarship within his own class, but not on a school scale. Yet now it sounds reasonable. If this goes on then it’s a really good then.

  2. I think this change is really good, before when he got second place I found it hard to believe it just because of some extra points, like, there are several classes with more advanced students, so how he got second with just working hard for a semester? So I like this version better, thanks for the chapter and take care.

  3. What exactly do you mean by the story updated? That the author completely rewrote it? That she wrote a new version?

    • Yep. The author had health issues before so she had to end the previous version quite abruptly. I guess after she got better, she decided to rewrite and change the story. The first half is the same though.

  4. Awn I really wished that Ning An and Fu’s sister would become good friends!

Imagine the bother Fu discovering that his sister and Ning talk on a daily basis and know more about each other than the Fu brother!

He would be really jealous of his sister and start to talk to her to get more info on Ning An, and his sister would use this to make some more misunderstandings and funny happenings!Thank you for the chapter!

  5. So Qin Zhao had been helping AnAn all along. Must be his good impression from the “capital is what caused war” before 😂😂
