Story of Another UsCh25 - Reality

While running further down the hallway, Sebi could see that the closer they got to the source, the darker everything seemed to be. It’s a good thing that he found Akhenaten, or he will definitely have a hard time.

Sebi cracked his fists, prepared to fight. He didn’t know if he could manage to deal with this ability user at the level that he was currently in even for just a bit, but he was a little more confident now that he wasn’t alone. 7Ud9Ex

Clop. Clop. Clop.

Akhenaten whimpered as he reached out and clung to Sebi’s arm. It looked a bit funny, seeing a buff and tall person like him crouching down with a scared face while gripping a shorter person’s arm.

“D-Decebal… Why is there a horse…”

Sebi blinked and narrowed his eyes. “Hide over there.”  xPplAu

He pushed Akhenaten to the side and hid behind a wall. The sounds of hooves came closer and closer, reminding Sebi that he had heard this earlier.

Wait a minute… something didn’t feel right…

Sebi may have transmigrated by the order of the mysteries of the universe, but he still couldn’t fully believe the supernatural. He was willing to bet that the clopping noise was caused by the ability user.

Suddenly, Sebi looked at Akhenaten and realized that his force field had weakened considerably from his fright.

“Hey, don’t be scared, it’s just a person,” Sebi comforted him. “Strengthen your force field, you’ll see the truth.”

Akhenaten nodded his head rapidly then reinforced his force field. The clopping noise soon began to warp into the normal sounds of a person’s heavy footsteps.

“Look,” Sebi whispered.

Akhenaten let out a sharp intake of breath, eyes wide as he stared at the person down the hallway. It seemed like he recognized him with the way he was slapping Sebi’s arm. D2hbQE

“We’re so done!” Akhenaten whispered in a frenzied panic. His expression was that of a small fluffy animal being bullied by a predator.

“Do you know who that is?” Sebi curiously said.

“His face just appeared on the headlines yesterday!” Akhenaten wailed in despair. “He’s that Tyrranus Armant, a terrorist who has the ability to drive people mad or kill them with their fears! H-He just escaped the mental institution he was locked in a-and he’s right here!”

“He’s a criminal?” Sebi said, rubbing his fists. “That just means we can’t let him get away.” i4bxu3

Akhenaten shook his head, crying out, “N-No, wait!”

Fierceless little Sebi Yan sprung out of his hiding spot, adrenaline rushing through his body as he stuck his hand out and reached towards the person, who froze on the spot in his telekinetic grip.

And then suddenly, he swung his arm, making Tyrranus Armant surge back and hit the wall harshly.

“Decebal! He has a fucking gun!” Akhenaten shrieked in terror upon seeing the cold glint of the metal from the low light of the moonbeam through a nearby window. XGYku3

But before he could create another force field, Tyrranus had recovered. His face couldn’t be seen, but he had begun laughing hysterically as the sound of a gun clicking resonated.

“You little kids really know how to put up a fight!” Tyrranus laughed as he began raining bullets.

“Run!” Sebi shouted, grabbing Akhenaten’s arm as they dashed down another hallway to their left.

“What are we supposed to do with him?” Akhenaten nervously muttered.

“Distract him so he wouldn’t leave the building until Headmaster Juno comes,” Sebi answered.

They continued to zoom down the stairs and through hallways. There were several dormitories in the Academy, and each one had five floors with several rooms. In a situation like this, Sebi and Akhenaten almost felt like they were inside a labyrinth. f C32Z

“There’s someone up ahead,” Sebi informed Akhenaten, extending a hand out to stop him so he could check who it was.

Upon lightly probing the mind of the person, Sebi gasped and shouted, “It’s Misharu!”

Akhenaten didn’t waste a single second and quickly rushed towards him. Sebi followed after him, bringing his fingers up to his temple. Misharu was just standing there, caught up in Tyrranus’ spell. Sebi felt the pain emanating from the extreme images of fear that Tyrranus had brought up for him.

“Akhenaten, bring him inside your force field,” Sebi instructed the man, who quickly did as he was told. AlI4ex

“Misharu!”  Akhenaten called out.

His force field immediately broke Misharu from the enchantment. Misharu flinched and suddenly fell, falling against Akhenaten’s chest. His body was rigid, and his limbs spasmed in certain points.

Akhenaten anxiously cupped his face and tilted it upward. “Misharu, can you hear me?!”

Misharu’s face was screwed in a stony expression of pain. When his eyebrows furrowed and he showed signs of hearing him, Akhenaten felt his chest become lighter. 9gS Jv

Moments later, Misharu began to slowly blink. “Misharu!” Akhenaten exclaimed in relief, but it was short-lived when Misharu looked up at him with fluttering eyelids and suddenly shed tears of red blood.

“Are you– fuck! Your crying blood!”

Misharu wriggled and weakly tried to straighten up. He brought his hands to his face, the blood creating stains across his porcelain cheeks.

When Sebi heard that Misharu was shedding blood, he felt anxious and wanted to feel his brain for any sign of trauma.  Rb3 he

But he couldn’t do it, because Sebi suddenly detected the sounds of heavy footsteps down the hallways again, together with the sound of bullets setting off.

“Shit!” Sebi swore as he rushed towards them and lightly pushed the other man. “Akhenaten, take Misharu and run!”

“Akhenaten?” Misharu mumbled, sounding quite lost and weak, very out of character from his usual harsh personality.

“Don’t worry, I’m here,” Akhenaten whispered, quickly picking him up in his arms. kEm3Lr

As Akhenaten dashed down the hall with a dazed Misharu in his arms, Sebi started making the building shake, just to push Tyrranus off his balance.

It was enough to surprise him, but Tyrranus wasn’t an inexperienced shooter. He was a terrorist, someone who was already convicted and was sent to a mental institution but has escaped, clearly willing to stir up shit again. He easily recovered and began firing like mad across the hall. It was a good thing that the walls were bulletproof and fireproof, so the people inside the rooms were safe for now.

Sebi glanced at Akhenaten and Misharu. Even though Akhenaten was strong enough, he couldn’t last long while maintaining his force field and carrying Misharu at the same time. They needed to escape safely.

Determined, Sebi called out to Akhenaten and said, “You need to escape and find the Headmaster, I’ll hold him off.” 0x3ECy

Akhenaten was reluctant.”What! But will you–”

“I’ll be fine!” Sebi assured him. “Stand aside, I’ll help you out through the window.”

Akhenaten could only go with what Sebi wanted. Tyrranus came closer, shooting at them while he cackled loudly. Sebi furrowed his eyebrows as he stopped the bullets with one hand while the other aimed at the window and broke it!

Glass fragments flew in the air. Sebi moved swiftly and launched the fragments towards Tyrranus, who howled loudly as the fragments stabbed through his flesh. kyc oB

“Come here!” Sebi yelled, his voice a bit shaky from the thought that he was able to do such a cruel thing. Even Akhenaten looked taken aback, but he could only focus on his balance as Sebi made him levitate and sent him down safely.

“You little pest, I’ll kill you!” Tyrranus growled. The glass had not hurt him terribly, though the view of the glass sticking out of his skin looked very gruesome. “If I don’t shoot you, I’ll tear you to pieces and scatter your guts across your precious Academy! They will remember how I, Tyrranus Armant, infiltrated this fucking shithole of a school without much of a fight!”

The darkness swirled through the hall in a lethal amount, suffocating Sebi again and he had to work hard and block it out.

“C-Come and catch me, then!” Sebi shouted as he dashed down the hall. He didn’t know where on earth did he get the courage to provoke a deadly madman who had a gun, but he was thankful for it right now. jMAddc

Sebi seemed to have provoked him well because even as he led him towards the exit of the building and out to a nearby shrouded area, Tyrranus’ attention was still on him. He kept shooting at him, cursing at him angrily as he followed Sebi deeper through the trees.

The running around was burning Sebi’s energy. He slowly began Tyrranus’ clopping horse hooves again as everything began to darken. He only had enough energy to protect his mind from being totally paralyzed.

Finally tired, Sebi decided to face him. His lightband was vibrating, and he actively sent his location. He then turned around and face the terrorist.

Sebi looked up curiously upon seeing that Tyrranus has turned into an illusion of a skeletal demon on a shadow mare. His empty sockets and his mouth were filled with blue flames. He looked like a total monster ancient humans used to be scared about, but the gun he was aiming at Sebi was out of place. zysa3C

“You’ve given up?” Tyrranus mused, his voice unearthly.

“You can take me as hostage,” Sebi offered.

Chuckling, Tyrranus waved his gun. “You think I’m stupid? That bitch of a headmaster of this damned school has nullifying powers.”

Sebi felt his temple throb from hearing Tyrranus insult the Headmaster. He maintained his composure and asked, “Then, why did you come here?”  izQXDl

“Don’t be absurd, this school means to me. I just came by to play around,” Tyrranus grinned. “But I sensed her essence here… so I took my time and didn’t burn your school to the ground.”

Sebi tilted his head to side. “Who is her?”

“She’s everything of this universe,” Tyrranus seemed to sigh forlornly. “Everything was made for them to play with, and she is the only True Reality. And I’m sure she’s here.”

Sebi lifted his hand up slowly. “Why do you say so?” qlratC

“DON’T LIE!” Tyrranus suddenly roared, his voice magnified at such a volume that it threw Sebi off balance from the pain it caused to his ears.

“DON’T LIE! DON’T LIE! DON’T LIE!” he continued to scream, blue fire surrounding him as his madness clouded his reason. “YOU TOOK HER! YOU TOOK HER AWAY FROM ME! YOU’LL PAY FOR IT! I’LL BRING YOU TO HELL AND LET THE GODS DESTROY YOUR SOUL!”

Tyrranus galloped towards Sebi, who groaned as he lifted his hands up in defense.

From behind him, the bushes rustled and suddenly, Sebi felt an arm from behind wrap around his waist as his back hit against a firm chest. An arm thrusted out, aiming a  gun at Tyrranus. p0YJXe

“You have to go through me first,” a familiar voice spoke right next to his ear, making Sebi feel a bit itchy.

Sebi looked up, eyes shining as he exclaimed, “Neco!”

It was dark, and he couldn’t make out the taller man’s face at all.

“You’re such a brave hatchling, aren’t you?” Necomir grumbled as he suddenly fired the gun.  QFw7um

The bullet found home into Tyrranus’ abdomen, who groaned loudly in pain as it began to electrocute him. He writhed, his form flickering weakly from human to monster rapidly as he lost control of his ability.

Sounds of boots came, and a barrage of guards together with Headmaster Juno finally came to detain Tyrranus. He was very resilient because even with the electrocuting bullet, he still managed to grab his gun and fire another shower. Necomir suddenly hugged Sebi and turned his back towards the line of fire, letting an electromagnetic field protecting his body through an in-ear piece take the bullets. Sebi immediately felt his cheeks burn red as Necomir’s scent and warmth wrapped around him.

“Net!” Headmaster Juno yelled, and four guards fired at the mad man. Tyrranus was then tangled in a tight net confinement that forced him to drop his weapon.

Once Tyrranus was finally detained, Necomir moved away from Sebi and stared at him pointedly. dd6b4q

Feeling a bit guilty about doing something reckless again, Sebi fumbled with his fingers and grinned, muttering, “I’m… sorry?”

“You’re not sorry,” Necomir coldly said. “Do you not know how to use your damned lightband? Or at least, use the earphones I gave you?”

Chrysanthemum Garden.

“I contacted Headmaster Juno!” Sebi helplessly defended himself.

“She’s a busy woman, and she appointed me as your guardian,” Necomir haughtily said, crossing his arms over his chest. “She wasn’t able to receive your message earlier because she was busy with other matters. What if she didn’t see it? What if Tyrranus did kill you?” qtInUW

“He can’t,” Sebi mumbled with a pout.

“He had a gun!” Necomir angrily said.

Sebi’s pout worsened. Necomir couldn’t stay angry for long and could only sigh as he reached out and rubbed Sebi’s back.

“Alright, I’ll shut up now,” Necomir soothed him. “Come on, I’ll take you to the clinic.” K6OUGc
