Story of Another UsCh24 - The Tsais

Warning: gore, torture, murder, transphobia, tentacles (if anyone is triggered by that)

Misharu was twelve years old again, sitting upright on the sofa of his childhood house in the capital city of the First Continent on planet Terra. The living room was grandiose in every way, the aristocratic lineage of the Tsai family evident on the walls lined with family paintings, the glowing chandeliers, and the custom-made high-end furniture.

But everything was not well utilized. The halls were cold, and if it wasn’t for the diligent servants dwelling inside the mansion, dust would have already accumulated in every corner and surface.

“Misharu! Are you listening?”

The little boy flinched when the telephone next to his ear buzzed with the loud voice of his grandfather, Yanzu Tsai. He blinked, long eyelashes fluttering as he mumbled with a gentle voice, “Grandpa, I want to go outside.” ZuT3E5

“Eh? Didn’t you go out with your mom yesterday?”

Misharu bit his lip as his eyes strayed towards the second floor. “I want to go outside because it’s boring in here… Dad hasn’t left the room with mommy yet…”

The old man on the other side of the line narrowed his eyes. “What do you mean, darling?”

Misharu lowered his head and gulped the burning sensation in his throat. He then whispered, “I think dad is possessed, grandpa.”

A door suddenly slammed open. Misharu dropped the phone and shot up to his feet.

Up the stairs stood the ghastly figure of Misharu’s dad, Dakuri Tsai. The little boy quivered, watching with wide eyes as the man slowly trudged down the stairs. Miasma surrounded him and leaked into the atmosphere, causing the mansion to drop a few more degrees and even dim, the chandeliers losing their glow. His face was covered with a shadow, and only his glowing red eyes could be seen.

“Misharu… You insufferable child,” Dakuri growled as dark red tentacles grew out of his back and poised around him, ready to attack.

“D-Dad…” Misharu helplessly mumbled, his knees quivering. “W-Why… are you like that…” ek14dq

A wide grin appeared through the shadow over his face, his teeth sharp and with conspicuous stains of blood over each tooth.

“I’m going to fix you, my sweet daughter,” Dakuri smiled wider as his tentacles suddenly shot out and wrapped tightly around Misharu’s delicate young body.

Dakuri Tsai had always been cold and aloof, showing no interest in Misharu or even his wife at all. He was a workaholic and worked as a senator for the Terrarian Federation, a man who held great respect and was expected to carry on the legacy of their family’s greatness. After all, the Tsais were one of the founding families of the Terra Star System so there were a lot of eyes looking at him, both unscrupulous and admiring. tf6m9r

Recently, Misharu felt that his dad has been becoming more and more agitated and hostile. The matter of Misharu transitioning into a man didn’t seem to have fazed him. He only looked at him coldly and let his wife, Ke’euz, together with Yanzu arrange the matter and deal with it. In Terra, transitioning into a different gender is common and quite accepted, though it was not something to be proud of in public, so that couldn’t have been the reason why he was acting strangely.

But Misharu did learn from his grandpa that an opposition against Dakuri as senator of the Federation was sabotaging him and framing him in certain scandals to tarnish his reputation as a public servant.

But that still didn’t explain why this was happening and if it was all an illusion or not.

A little while later, Misharu was given a piece of the answer. 0MdkFV

Dakuri opened a certain room that Misharu had been forbidden to enter and threw him inside.

None of the pain caused by the impact of his joints against the cold floor shook Misharu’s mentality more than the sudden view that he was given.

Chrysanthemum Garden.

“Mommy!” Misharu’s eyes blew wide as he screamed in terror.

The woman on the bed further up into the room was nothing but a shriveled up bag of flesh and bone. Hair covered her face that had been slashed open, with only her terror-stricken gray eyes the only identifying feature left. Her abdomen was shredded open, with rats living inside. Her legs were bent in abnormal angles, and blood pooled on the ground. fmQc3n

“What did you do?!” Misharu screeched, tears streaming down his face. “What did you do to her?! You monster! Get away from me! N-No, let g-go–”

Misharu’s mouth was suddenly wrapped shut by a tentacle, and then he was picked up and forced on a table next to his mom. Shackles kept him immobile as the monster hovered over him.

“My beautiful daughter,” he grinned, even wider that it seemed like his lips had been torn. “I’m going to fix you. I’ll turn you inside out and set you anew.”

A sharp sensation of something drilling into his leg made Misharu struggle and scream in horror. He didn’t want to know what it was, and all he could do was close his eyes and cry dreadfully while his flesh broke and something that he suspected was one of his dad’s tentacles began to wriggle its way under his skin upwards, heading for his pelvis. And suddenly, the tentacle tugged upwards, forcefully breaking out of Misharu’s flesh.

“Stop! No! It hurts! It hurts! It hurts!” he kept on screaming.

In the darkness, Dakuri continued tormenting him. He looked like he really was conducting an operation on his son, even though in reality, he was only torturing him with a very specific and inhumane method. Misharu kept screaming in pain until his throat bled dry and trails of blood streamed from all of his orifices.

“You’re doing so well, my beautiful Misharu,” Dakuri soothingly whispered, his voice deep and unearthly. “A little bit more, and you’ll become the woman that you are always meant to be.” XjSMw1

Misharu didn’t know how long Dakuri did this to him, but the pain didn’t subside at all. The man convoluted his body slowly, not allowing him to quickly adjust and grow numb to the pain at all.

It could only accumulate, bit by bit, brick by brick, pound by pound…

It was endless, like Misharu had been tossed into Hell and this was the punishment he had to live by for thousands of years.

Dakuri hovered over him, expressionless while he continued torturing him. tf6q8r

Until he suddenly stopped.

“Misharu!”

Misharu’s eyes widened when he saw Dakuri suddenly crack, like he was made of glass. The man howled, driven with confusion and rage as he looked down at himself.

“Fuck!” Dakuri hissed.   F6oJVN

Misharu furrowed his eyebrows and began struggling violently against his restraints. His skin was torn and his bones were exposed, but he still managed to exert enough force to break out of the shackles.

It wasn’t just his dad that seemed to be made of glass.

Everything was glass.

“Misharu…” Dakuri growled, his red eyes wide in the darkness. “Don’t you dare–” xzQYlv

Misharu suddenly lifted his arm, thrusting a fist out as he punched at his dad.

It wasn’t real. None of this was real.

“Misharu!”

He suddenly lurched forward and fell, gasping as his mind sprung out of the enchantment and began to buzz, trying to recover from the paralysis and the trauma that it had incurred. The sensory deprivation took a while to fade away, and all Misharu could do was stare in the darkness. He didn’t even notice that he had fallen against a certain someone’s chest. I4Ktf0

Suddenly, he felt someone’s warm hands cup his face. “Misharu, can you hear me?!”

Misharu’s eyebrows furrowed together as his ears adjusted to the voice.

“Misharu!” the person exclaimed when he saw his eyes blink. “Are you– fuck! Your crying blood!”

Startled by what he just said, Misharu began to wriggle and bring his hands up to his face. His brain was still buzzing, and there’s a certain spot that felt a bit painful. DA0kwW

“Shit!” came another voice. “Akhenaten, take Misharu and run!”

“Akhenaten?” Misharu called out with an unexpectedly soft voice, enough to make anyone who heard it feel a little tug at their heartstrings.

“Don’t worry, I’m here,” Akhenaten whispered, swiftly picking him up then dashed down the hallway.

The hall suddenly began shaking. tBz3PJ
