Stone Age Husband Raising JournalCh134 - Settling In

The Giant Pig Tribe was a large tribe with six or seven thousand people. As for specifically how many people were in the tribe, even the tribal chief himself probably didn’t know. skc6xa

Basically, they had a lot of people. Not only that, the tribe also had a very long history––this tribe had existed for many years.

And the walls of the Giant Pig Tribe’s settlement had been strengthened and widened bit by bit over the years. It was able to withstand most dinosaur attacks.

Please visit chrysanthemumgarden (dot) com

If someone had arrived inside the Giant Pig Tribe by climbing over the wall, everyone would feel that that was very normal. However, the current situation was… their wall had been knocked down, and it had actually been easily pushed over by someone.

It couldn’t be that their walls had already had flaws? Someone tried to push over a section of wall nearby and couldn’t move it at all. VX9nKC

While they were still in a daze, the people of the Big Bear Tribe had already led in Zhu Yan and the others and carried Zhou Ji through the gap into the Giant Pig Tribe.

The people of the Giant Pig Tribe saw this situation and all turned into their animal forms. They were poised for attack.

Hai Feng was instantly rather excited, “Baobei, your grandfather will throw people… throw pigs around for you to watch!”

“Sure, sure.” Xi Baobei nodded his head.

N4WgKC

When Zhu Yan heard what Hai Feng said, he immediately shouted at his own people, “Stop! Stop! These people are distinguished guests of our tribe! Don’t harm these respected guests!”

Those who had wanted to attack were all confused. The Zhu Yan who had been tied up actually said that these people were distinguished guests of their tribe? This…

“Get out of the way if you don’t want to die!” Zhu Yan continued. He didn’t think that these people were respected guests at all. He just didn’t want to die and didn’t want the people of his tribe to die.

There was a Beast King amongst these people! If their tribe had a lot of high level Beast Warriors, they might be able to fight against a Beast King, but they only had one high level Beast Warrior in their tribe. fNdtQj

They were better off being well-behaved and obedient.

Since Zhu Yan had spoken up, the people of the Giant Pig Tribe ultimately retreated and allowed all of the people from the Big Bear Tribe to enter their settlement.

The Giant Pig Tribe had farms, but they were all outside of the walls. The area inside the walls was filled with houses for people to live in.

The sanitation situation in this tribe wasn’t very good. Zhou Ji felt that it smelled like a pigsty; he guessed that the people of the Giant Pig Tribe directly excreted within the tribe and hadn’t cleaned it up in a long time. j f0Ak

Fortunately, it had rained heavily last night, and the smell had been washed away. What remained was still only barely tolerable.

As for the houses here… The houses here were built with all sorts of materials. They didn’t look as good as his house in the Big Bear Tribe, but it was much better than the houses in the Grass Tribe.

Overall, Zhou Ji was still quite satisfied with this place––he really didn’t want to sleep out in the open.

Chrysanthemum Garden.

Right now, he didn’t want anything except to please Hai Feng, and to make his own life a little better.

However, Hai Feng didn’t look at him at all. He just glanced at Xi Baobei and said, “Baobei, wait here for me. Grandfather will go and catch you some dinosaurs.” nIRFi0

“Alright.” Xi Baobei nodded.

Hai Feng left immediately.

Zhu Yan felt a little gleeful when he saw this situation––now that this Hai Feng had left, did that mean that he could escape? The idea had only just surfaced in his heart when he swiftly pushed it back down.

Although Hai Feng was gone, it didn’t mean he wouldn’t come back… if he dared to try and escape, Hai Feng would definitely kill him when he returned! eN25wg

On the other hand, if he was well-behaved, Hai Feng might not necessarily do anything to him.

“Where is your house?” Xiong Ye asked Zhu Yan.

Zhu Yan looked down on Xiong Ye a little bit as a young tribal chief, but he still pointed in a certain direction.

Zhu Yan’s house was indeed the best house in the tribe. Not only was it of very good quality, it was also very big, and not only was it very big, it also had many rooms. 45aTLf

Many houses had been built together next to each other, forming a square with one open side. There was even a yard in the middle, and other than Zhu Yan’s house that was the largest and faced the south, either Zhu Yan’s women or children all lived in the other houses around it.

Zhu Yan had over ten women and several dozen children. Some of these children had also formed families of their own and also had children. This was definitely a huge family.

“This place isn’t bad. Have it cleaned up, this is just the right size for our people to live in.” Xiong Qi was very satisfied with the multiple houses that Zhu Yan’s family lived in.

“It is pretty good…” Xiong Ye looked at Zhu Zhan, “Go and deal with the matters in the Giant Pig Tribe. If there’s anything you can’t deal with, go and find Hai Feng… We’re going to rest here.” W0fc5b

“Alright.” Zhu Zhan said. “I’ll go and have people move out of the houses right away!” Zhu Yan’s house had been empty recently, but people were still living in the other houses!

Zhu Zhan led some people to drive everyone out.

Those younger brothers of his were very dissatisfied, and the ones who had dragged themselves back with their injured legs were even more furious, “Zhu Zhan, what are you doing?!”

“I’m moving you out of these houses. The warriors of our Big Bear Tribe are going to live here.” Zhu Zhan said. He very much liked to say ‘our Big Bear Tribe’ now. He hadn’t looked up to this tribe back then, but he now felt that… joining this tribe really gave him a lot of face! H9nV7X

Zhu Zhu also added, “Yes, hurry up and move out. Otherwise we won’t be so polite!”

She and her children had suffered a lot after Zhu Zhan left. It was especially the case for her children, as people would always take advantage of the times when she needed to go out and hunt to bully her children before they’d been driven out of the tribe.

Please support our translators at chrysanthemumgarden (dot) com

There had been some people in the tribe who had tried to protect them back then, but they hadn’t been able to do it well.

Later, she had been driven out of the tribe during winter, and their life had become even worse. She even watched as friends of herself and Zhu Zhan were forced outside to hunt during the winter, eventually freezing to death outside. FwLy52

If it hadn’t been for this, she wouldn’t have come back to bite off the legs of two of Zhu Zhan’s younger brothers before she left for good.

“Zhu Zhan, you’re even helping other tribes over your own tribe. You traitor!” Zhu Zhan’s younger brother roared, “We’re not moving.”

“Hurry up and move! Quickly move out for me!” Zhu Yan shouted. These sons of his couldn’t even beat Zhu Zhan, let alone that Beast King named Hai Feng. For them to refuse to move out when told at this kind of time, weren’t they just looking to die?

How had he given birth to such a bunch of idiots? 7UFfoP

Thinking of how Hai Feng was particularly impatient and willing to use violence as long as there was even a small bit of disagreement, Zhu Yan hissed loudly, “Move out quickly!”

Zhu Yan’s women and children were all confused.

They felt that the Zhu Yan in front of them now was nothing like the powerful Zhu Yan they knew who could hold up the skies and stamp down the earth.

At the same time, they also became aware of one point––this Big Bear Tribe might be very powerful. RsxLud

Their father, a high level Beast Warrior, had been tied up. As for themselves…

They had better move out first, then find a way to save their father, then drive these people out of the Giant Pig Tribe!

These people finally moved out.

Zhou Ji and Xiong Ye then moved into Zhu Yan’s house. df26jM

Although Zhu Yan’s house was very large, it only consisted of one room. It was just enough for the two of them to live in… No, Zhou Ji actually found it a little small––to him, any house without a bathroom or kitchen wasn’t a good house.

Fortunately, there was a lot of firewood in Zhu Yan’s house, and a pit had been dug inside for fires. There was even a pottery pot placed on top of it.

Xiong Ye took the pottery pot and set it outside––they had their own pot and didn’t like to use other people’s things.

Zhu Yan watched as Xiong Ye and Zhou Ji directly took over his house and felt that the whole situation was a little inconceivable. d7fVNH

Hai Feng was a powerful Beast King, so the best of everything should obviously be given to Hai Feng to enjoy, but these two people had taken over the best house… Were they crazy?

And when he saw them come out with the pottery pot, he became even more distressed––this was the pottery pot that he had used many other things to trade for. He didn’t want these people to break it!

Chrysanthemum Garden.

Additionally, why had they taken the pottery pot outside? It couldn’t be that they didn’t recognize what it was, right?

That must be the case. After all, these people were from the wild forest… 7VGQRs

“This pot is for you guys to use.” Xiong Ye stated, then added, “Where’s my pot?”

“Chief, your pot!” Xiong Qi immediately took out Xiong Ye’s pot and added some flattery, “Tribal chief, your pot is definitely the best one! It’s much better than these rough and messy ones.”

“Of course.” Xiong Ye readily accepted this praise. His pot had been personally made by Zhou Ji and was especially beautiful. Of course it was different from other people’s pots.

Zhu Yan, who had just been thinking that people from the wild forest didn’t know anything: “……” KShUtm

What was even more shocking to Zhu Yan was that the people of the Big Bear Tribe actually took out one, two, three, four, five, and more pottery pots.

They even took out pottery bowls and jars… One of their jars had shattered, and they merely said, “What a pity, the jar broke.”

“It’s actually better to use wood for jars than pottery.” Another person suggested.

After that, they ignored the broken pottery and started to make food. 2XWhqV

Zhu Yan: “……” If someone in their tribe broke his pottery pot, he would definitely have made trouble for them!

Hai Feng returned as the people of the Big Bear Tribe began to cook.

He’d been worried that his big grandson would be hungry, so Hai Feng simply caught a dinosaur from the nearby area and came back right away. “Baobei, your grandfather is back. I’ll roast meat for you right away!”

That said, Hai Feng actually wasn’t very good at roasting meat. His cooking abilities were very poor. cHCAmd

Fortunately, although his position in the Big Bear Tribe wasn’t as high as Xiong Ye’s and Zhou Ji’s, it was still pretty good. Someone immediately came over to help him roast the meat.

The people of the Big Bear Tribe liked this job a lot, because any food that Hai Feng couldn’t finish would ultimately become theirs.

Zhu Yan saw this scene and fell into deep thought.

Someone close to Zhu Yan also spoke up, “Tribal chief, Hai Feng is a Beast King, but the chief of this Big Bear Tribe doesn’t seem to take him seriously or show him any respect. We can find a way to stir up the relationship between them so that he’ll turn against that tribal chief and that sick-looking person who was being carried…” IYbO49

Juurensha: …kind of bratty guys, turning people out of their homes…
xiin: to be honest, it’s very realistic that the Big Bear Tribe has become like this now that they have Beast Kings amongst them and stuff, but it’s also a little… mean and selfish. not sure how i feel about these recent developments 🙁

  1. Welps i hope power hasn’t gone to XY’s and ZJ’s heads. They aren’t making themselves very welcome to other tribes now.

    Thanks for chapter ^^

  2. Some might not agree with this kind of mentality but this world seems to be the strong vs the weak and if you’re kind to those who were your enemies then you’re weak so them treating this tribe like that seems normal to me because they’re assholes anyway and tried to kill Zhu Zhan, his wife and kids so in my view they’re just showing their strength in a way so it doesn’t seem wrong as other strong tribes do the same to weaker tribes through taking tributes and stuff. Just wanted to let out my thoughts!

    • Hmm…agreed. As they really treated the Grass tribe well. Didn’t even use their house or other things and traded goods in appropriate way. Whereas they’re making trouble for Giant Pig Tribe almost readily because how they treated ZZ, his wife and children. Also like you said weak vs strong. It’s quite a good way to show that they’re strong and not to be taken lightly. Also it actually shows how simple they are. Simply having foods and all.

  3. Hai Feng: You wan’t me to die?!?! I’ll just throw you out first before Zhou Ji hears it!!!!

    • Well the giant pig tribe did try to kill them first so… 😶 and they were okay to the grass tribe people and even made good trade with them. Big bear tribe’s behavior is only based to what these people have showed them first and I’m okay with that.

  4. I’m personally not surprised by the Big Bear tribe’s development. They take their ques from ZJ and ZJ has never been kind nor magnanimous. He’s just too lazy to be downright evil or cruel. He came from an apocalyptic dog eats dog world, and now he’s in another world with much the same system. Aside from the few (few!) People he deems close to him, he doesn’t give a fig about others. Not at this point at least. Maybe he’ll grow kinder in the future as his mental state and psychological issues stabilize, but I’m not holding my breath.

    • yea, true.. i guess i expected more of him as a main character. but he’s just so … flawed and human. on one hand i agree with it, on the other i’m waiting for my shiny perfect ML to show up haha

      • He’s not unkind, though, he’s just very self-contained. Why does he need to look after strangers? Do you donate all your money when you see a homeless person? He treats people better than how they treat him, the pig tribe tried to kill every person in the big bear tribe just because they could, but he didn’t even kill them in response. Borrowing the house of the guy that ordered it all is a pretty minor response to attempted genocide. And I bet he’ll improve the state of the pig tribe while he’s there, if only so his living conditions are better. I don’t know why you keep saying you think he’s unkind.
  5. I’d say, its fine. They haven’t gone out of their way to offend anyone. Its more that anytime someone actively does something to them, they tend to hit back with a don’t mess with us behavior. Like the grass tribe was completely fine and they got lots of good meat out of their deal. The Pig tribe, they started this whole mess so they can stew in their mess.

  6. sick-looking person…. hahahah if only they know.

  7. IKR. I also thought it was pretty mean to drive people out of their home just like that. My impression of them is crashing down.

  8. I’m not surprised. It’s not like they killed the previous tenants, or intend to take over permanently. Take the Grass tribe. They didn’t bully them, and even traded in the Grass tribes favor.

And the Big Bear tribe was attacked first.

    Thank you

  10. Although it is bad that they drove people out of their homes, ZJ came from an apocalyptic world were social cibilities were gone, and this world doesnt have a lot of social and civil rights.

For America, they fought against the British for forcefully occupying their homes, and that is more recent than these cave dwellers.

Plus, it’s only against people who move against them and not every tribe.

And this is pretty mild compared to other prehistoric settings.

  11. I’m so happy with ehat they’re doing lol, coming into the tribe that rejected Zhu Zhan and acting like royalty and kicking out the assholes that wanted Zhu Zhan And Zhu Zhu dead is just nice. They didn’t do that in the grass tribe or go on a killing spree but they sure as hell are gonna rub their power in the faces of everyone who that Zhu Zhan was “cursed”

  12. Well, it’s them being like this or them being treated like this. Seeing that the first development of this world was for the BBT to be violent attacked and kicked out of their territory, I very much rather them having the upper hand. Besides, they haven’t used force to do so. Moreover, they didn’t even look for trouble first, just attacking when attacked and using opportunities when given. ¯_₍⸍⸌̣ʷ̣̫⸍̣⸌₎_/¯

Now, if they purposely began to try and take by force permanently the territory of other tribes… That would change all, and not by a pleasant way (^=˃ᆺ˂)

Thank you for the chapter! 💕

  13. We just gotta remember its different times here and the Big Bear tribe are not the only ones to act like this. The whole world there in would possibly do worse things than our bears honestly so while I don’t like it, it’s understandable at least.

  14. Ummmm…….

A moment of silence for the soon to be flying pigs……..

    🐖🐷🐖🐷🐖🐷🐖🐖🐖

  15. Most of the time I don’t mind when they overstep, usually the people they step on are pretty shady! (Though I totally still feel bad about the beach tribe, but in fairness that was totally Hai Feng’s fault) The giant pig tribe has killed most of the people that followed ZY and protected ZZ it sounds like. I’m really curious if Big Bear will continue to expand or if they’ll end up going home and claiming that side of the river alone.

  16. I wonder if this is the opportunity for ZJ to make roasted pork ! XD

Thank you for this lovely story !

    (ノ´ з `)ノ

  17. I think it’s very reasonable actually. Zhu Yan and the others attacked them first. And now that both Zhu Zhan and Zhu Zhu are part of the tribe they have to back them up and help them get revenge for the wrongs of the Giant Pig tribe. They aren’t going around wontonly killing the people, just temporarily displacing them. As long as Zhu Yan and the others behave, they can go back to a perfectly normal life when the Big Bear tribe leaves. But it’s already apparent that they won’t behave and will only bring more troubles onto themselves.

  18. They were very respectful to the grass tribe. Camped outside, traded fairly etc.

I think they’re treating the giant pig tribe so poorly because the giant pig tribe treated them poorly. Remember, when Zhu Yan found them, he told his subordinates to kill everyone but Zhu zhan and his kids.

So, yes, they’re being rude, but I think that’s mainly because they know that these people would kill them if they could and deserve no respect.

  19. Well I think they only act like this because they know what the tribe did to Zhu Zhan and Zhu Zhu. Big Bear tribe was simple minded. They only want a place to temporarily stay they don’t have plans to take over the tribe.

    Thank you for the chapter

  20. Honestly I don’t think anything is wrong with what they’re doing. Big Bear tribe is very good to those that treat them with respect. However the giant pig tribe not only attacked one of their own but directly tried to fight them and have even been known to mistreat their own and this is a prehistoric world where everything was about strength so they’re well with in their rights. Zhou Ji is also from a post apocalyptic world where he was betrayed and ended up with ptsd. Even the short stint where they took slaves didn’t last long. Plus they don’t actually force anyone to do anything or cause any lasting damage . Those that treat them fairly tend to benefit from them whether through trading or teaching. Even Hai Feng who attacked them is now willingly following them while living well and Zhu Zhu who was a total stranger is welcomed with open arms because she’s Zhu Zhan’s mate and she didn’t do anything to try to hurt the tribe. They don’t have the habit of bullying those weaker than them unless those people attack or try to attack first.
  21. I’m pretty sure ZJ has only done this to tribes that tried to kill them
first. This is an eat or be eaten world after all. Previously the cute grass tribe were
clearly relieved at their friendliness and lack of bossiness🐰🐰🐰💕 Temporary takeover of your attempted killers’ assets doesn’t sound extreme, especially when Zhu Zhan should have rightfully become chief by their own laws.🐗

That said, I would rather live in a wet tent in the muddy forest instead of this stinky pigsty. I have a sensitive nose! Don’t beastmen have stronger sense of smell? How does ZJ even manage to eat here??!

    Thank you for chapter!

  22. Ok let’s take all things into consideration. First, they kicked ZZ out when his leg was broke and forced him to cross the river hoping that he and all of his men would die (and most did). Second, they bullied ZZ’s children and then kicked them out in the winter….along with their friends. It’s a miracle Zhu Zu and the kids survived, when so many of their friends froze to death. Third, ZZ was the rightful heir before getting kicked out because his father was afraid that he’d take over. Fourth, the main reason they came was because they wanted to settle ZZ’s issues…which means dealing with his father and many siblings.

So kicking them out of their homes is justifiable and rather mild honestly speaking. Besides, it’s not like they are taking over permanently, they are just visiting. And ZJ has a tendency to make people’s lives better without even meaning to….so let’s wait and see what happens lol. Ah and fifth, they are basically “cavemen” who live by the code of the strongest wields the power…they kick people out of their caves in their own tribe and send them to the communal cave if they aren’t able to hunt…so really this is par for the course

  23. Well think of like this.. 🤔🤔the pigs attacked first without even trying to communicate with the bears.. mocked them and try to do harm.. this my dears is a lesson on humility.. native Americans had a tradition, an elder would come in at times.. during certain situations they would asked to be gifted an item of some importance and it is to be given to them.. the lesson here is that material things are unimportant it is the behavior and strength of mind that is important. In simple terms, if the pig chief was a better person then he would never have lost his house

  24. The Giant Pig Tribe kicked Zhu Zhan, Zhu Zhu and their children out of their house and even out of the tribe. So I think it’ perfect for Zhu Zhan’s father and brothers to be kicked out. Big Bear Tribe didn’t do anything to other Giant Pig tribe members.

  25. … it always smells worse after rain, not better.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!!

  26. Thank you for the chapter! I kind of am hoping Xiong Ye gets to show off his big bear form and Zhou Ji fanboys over him again in the next couple of chapters😍💕👍🙏

  27. Meh.

They already knew what the Giant Pig Tribe did to Zhu Zhan, why would they need to be polite?

I don’t mind what they do here.

It’s not like they come and kill everyone there.

They only drive away Zhu Yan’s family.

That’s already nice enough, I think.

    Thanks for the update ❤️

  28. Um well, the pig tribe is their enemy, isn’t it? Then, why do you have to be polite to your enemy? and in this kind of primal tribe setting story too?

I think it’d be really weird if they didn’t act like this but instead, expect the pig tribe to politely greet them like they are guests. What do you guys think?

  29. I only think ZJ is being domineering with the pig tribe because he knows the chief is an a$$hole who basically abandoned his son for his own selfish reasons. He didn’t do anything bad to that weak grass tribe because he had nothing against those people. I think ZJ’s bottom line is if you don’t bother him, he will be fair and cordial with you, but if you attack him then you will be destroyed.

  30. I feel that they are taking revenge for Zhu Zha. Well more like “they are mean people, more his father, we don’t need to be polite or nice to them”

Well that is why I think.

  31. Hm, dont forget that :

    1. The pig tribal chief attacked them first and lost. In those times, it’s only natural that the bear tribe take over their territory or even absorb them. The fact that they are only using it as a temporary abode for shelter from the rain is already very good for the pig tribe.

    2. The pig chief himself offered up his own home to house them. Their land is huge, they can easily find other places to stay for just those few days.

    3. All these wouldn’t have happened if the chief and his sons weren’t selfish as fuck. Abandoning their own sibling and as if that wasn’t enough, harassing his wife and kids then driving anybody merely affiliated with Zhu Zhan and Zhu Zhu out of the tribe and leaving them to freeze to death? Being driven out of their house temporarily is NOTHING in comparison to their sins.

    • Even for the Beach Tribe, when they rushed over and asked why they were being attacked, they were met with accusations that they were evil and that they would all be killed despite the bear tribe being nothing but courteous towards them. Words have consequences and them being highly pious, being accused of being evil, then even their precious messenger being in danger… simply tying them up and taking away the goods they planned on generously trading with them is rather mild. Imagine travelling for weeks with precious goods that they can trade for salt with the Beach Tribe can easily make for literally 0 cost only to be met with accusations and death threats. Lmao
  32. I think it’s only right for taking over their houses. Think about it. The tribal chief hates his own children, wants to kill his daughter-in-law and ‘raise’ his grandchildren himself. But only as long as they don’t become stronger than himself. As for the other tribe members, they alienated this little family and even (indirectly) killed off those who wanted to protect them. Just from this alone, one can see, this tribe is nothing good. So teaching them a little lesson is a good thing. Instead of letting them act arrogant for no reason, it’s definitely more useful to show them the vast world. Especially this idiot of a tribal chief.
  33. They might seem a bit harsh to the Giant Pig Tribe, but these were the same people who schemed against ZZ to kick him out as well as kill him, his wife, and his children along with anyone who was associated with them. The way the Big Bear Tribe is treating them is justifiable.

  34. translator and editor-san are just too kind… its a dog eat dog.. i mean bear eat pig world out there in the savage lands XD

  35. I don’t feel bad at all since zhu yan’s people are a bunch of bullies. As far as i see, they didn’t do this to weaker tribes before

  36. Hmm, if you want to judge it in today’s standards, that’s being selfish and shameless. Which is bad bec people of today are supposed to be well-educated and should know what is right and wrong. But that is wishful thinking and some people of today are the me-first generation. Now for this bear tribe, they have no basic education and even have no ideas about proper hygiene. What they have learned growing up is that only the strong survives, their only focus is on survival. If you cannot expect a well-educated person from being shameless and overbearing, what more from someone who only acts instinctively? In their “culture”, weak people are expected to serve the strong, strong people are more valued. Other people who learned that the whale is a beast king is surprised that he acts so normal. Bec they believe that as a beast king, he should lord it over all of them. Again, not saying being selfish is a good thing, but I can understand why they are acting like that. I just hope they stop doing that, bec they are starting to act like a cannon-fodder in novels.
  37. It’s realistic but it’s disappointing at the same time. I feel like I’m reading about the villains rather than the protagonists hahaha.

  38. They already know this Giant pig tribe isnt any good ..look how they treat their own tribe members.. so it’s only natural to not care about them n use the easier methods to make them obey.. using power to suppress ppl is quicker than words

  39. This pig tribal chief has enmity towards them and even wanted to kill them all. I find it already lenient to just take them as prisoners. So what if they take over the chief’s family houses ? They didn’t cause trouble to the weak of the tribe nor did they do any thing the to the driven out people so they are free to find other temporary residence. Those who cause trouble later on deserves what happens to them for not knowing their situation and behave, their tribe started a war/fight and lost it 🤷

  40. Yeah, their action sometime make me uncomfortable. 😕

  41. Tbh I feel like the pig tribe deserved it. They tried to kill Zhu Zhan and his family, I actuallly though they were going to kill the chief or something. They were even good to the grass tribe.

The only ones I feel bad for are the Beach tribe.

  42. Yeah, I honestly would prefer for them to just move on. They very close to being like their enemies. At least they haven’t directly harmed anyone. Thank you for the chapter ❤

  43. I don’t think they did something bad. It’s a primitive era yet they don’t kill like others and just lived with those pigs instead of punishing them for bullying children. (Zhu Zhan’s children).

Zhu Yan was the one who loves power, banishing his son to remain as a chief, now he’s tasting his own medicine.

  44. Well, this is the world where power speak. I… really don’t understand the translators. What is the problem? Zhu Yan had wanted to kill all of them just before. They only wanted to take over the house until near the Beast God Sacrifice. They had been polite to little Grass Tribe that is as polite. This pigsty is full of arrogant rotten bunch. They had to be taught a lesson that there are bigger mountains amongst other mountain. Bruhh.

  45. If the rhino tribe came, the pig tribe would have willingly offered there home’s to them. Plus, big bear didn’t kick the the weed tribe out if their homes, the only stayed in the houses that were offered to them. I think they’re helping Zhu Zhan stomp their arrogance down while raising him up a bit. Plus, they keep looking down on big bear tribe just cause they came from the forest… And they really can’t get the picture.

  46. I don’t know if others didn’t read this novel’s description or have just decided to ignore the novel’s setting. This world is a primitive one. You don’t expect to use a modern approach to reason with brutes. It’s the stone age people!!!!. You wanna try dialogue with a group of savages who are out to kill u, try to behave proper?!!!. Then fine but dig your grave first.

The bear tribe isn’t behaving like a group of cannon fodder as a comment said on the contrary their behavior is in line with this world’s natural order. If they didn’t behave like this they’ll be looked down upon by their foes who might get the idea that they’re easy to bully. Moreover it’s not like they killed those people considering their heinous acts, the bear tribe is even merciful. I have to thank the author for sticking to the world’s settings while some readers seem to have forgotten it.

  47. this is my eight time reading this and tbh, I dont think what they did was wrong. The people that were forced to give up their houses were Zhu Zhan’s siblings and based on what those people did to Zhu Zhan, Zhu Zhu and their kids, its already very light. Zhu Zhan was forced to cross the river along with his subordinates whom more than half died and only luck allowed them to ashore safely, so I dont really think getting forced out of their houses for a few days is something to be called out. Maybe because my 3 views are twisted but I think what they did is really tame
