  22. …Knowing that MNC wasn’t blowing up because of YC refusing to help him stalk/harrass/force one his employees made it… a little better. A tiny bit. He’s still a scum person. Previously I felt like his only redeeming point was that he seemed to be sincere in his friendship to YC, so with his blow-up – especially considering how completely, unequivocally excessive it was – that was basically gone. I’m still not impressed. He took every single one of YC insecurities and weaknesses and fears and just verbally flayed him alive in the most emotionally destructive, hurtful way possible.

    As an apology, he made some lame excuses and bought take-out. Wow. The sincerity.

    IDK, like I said, I completely despise him as a person, so maybe I’m not objective enough. But to me, the kind of person who has no respect or regard for others and treats them like objects instead of people is trash. It’s one thing to be promiscuous when you make it clear to all your partners before you hook up that you’re just after a good time, no strings. It’s another thing when you’ll say or do whatever it takes to get someone into bed, then toss them away once you’re bored or something better comes along. That’s not a relationship. Calling it that gives the other person the impression that they matter to you more than say, a used tissue. Don’t try to make it out to be anything but what it is; you want copious amounts of meaningless sex with a lot of different people. Fine; but only if there’s no deception or emotional manipulation or pressure going on that’s going to leave your partner feeling dirty and used and sad afterwards. I only like playboys or playgirls who don’t play with people’s hearts or minds. Consent is sexy, coercion is not, and deception is despicable.

    IDK, I just really dislike MNC as a person; so every time he shows up, I feel really unhappy.

  23. I’m glad they made up! I think both of them should try being better friends to each other. Nancheng shouldn’t invite Yi Chen to places he obviously has not interest in going (clubs, etc.), and Yi Chen should try to be more open and less cold with him.

  24. I love this. This is the lowest that I’ve seen Yi Chen is in and I’m glad that he’s regaining his relationships back. If Yi Cheng had not met Yanyan, and slowly became part of his life, I think Yi Cheng’s relationship to the people around him would have gone worse. The same goes for Yanyan.
