Translator's Note

Guess Qing Hong’s original form is not a bird like his name suggests (his name means green goose). Kinda makes you wonder if he had chosen the name by himself to be closer to He Jun.

  1. Can anyone tell me about our mc past because I am confused

In the beginning, our mc die and come to this game world before he was just an actor. His mom is the one who forces him to be an actor at an early age. Then what happened to why our mc is experiencing this kind of Different story?

    • So from what I can figure out the mc’s backstory is that his original life is the one with his mother and his acting career, but sometime during his acting career; before he started acting as villains, he became a host to the ‘big, bad system’ and was forced to play villainous or tragic roles over and over again. Idk how he escaped or smth because that hasn’t been revealed in the story yet, but you can just dismiss this, cause it is just my prediction. I don’t actually know exactly what the mc’s past is.

      • Yup, that’s all we know so far. Almost everything is a big mystery, for now, even the way he died is not specified just yet (though, and this might be spoilers, that assistant from ch1 looks suspicious). I hope you’ll stay until we can unravel the mystery together hehe ^^

    • That’s what I heard too, well, there are different forms of blindness. From what I’ve researched, different people have different experiences with total blindness (for example, a person who was born blind would describe it differently from a person who was not, since the former has nothing to compare to visually). But I’m not qualified to say anything, haha. If anyone has any information or has done more research, I would love to know!

      • I had a blind friend (acquired blindness) once describe it more of feeling where things are than ‘seeing’ them. For instance, she would intuitively feel there would be a wall 2 feet in front, but that was from familiarity with the environment. On the other hand, she would feel someone to the right from the heat or the sounds they made… or any other clues her brain picked up.

        • girl I just can’t stand it anymore, I gotta comment on your profile pic (I hope you don’t find it offensive) but your profile pic literally looks like Olaf’s face (from frozen) melting away with the dudes (I forgot his name) reindeer’s nose behind Olaf’s head, until I zoomed in closer (and I still don’t know what it looks like) but from afar it definitely looks like Olaf’s face melting with a reindeer nose behind his head

          👁️👄👁

  2. I just really love Ren Yifei as a character, he’s so…capable, even in the worst circumstances, of turning toward the brightest possibility

Thank you so much for translating! <3

  3. »Although Kong Que had thick nerves, he could still that something was wrong.« could still tell/feel/smth like that

What a shitty system is that Big Bad System? Dx

    Thx for the ch (ㅅ˘ㅂ˘)

  4. Hello! I’ve been really enjoying this novel, so thank you for translating it!

The last line was so epic that I felt it was worth commenting about~

“Ren Yifei was not afraid of death, and he was even less afraid to survive” is already pretty awesome, but for the sake of parallelism, something along the lines of “Ren Yifei was not afraid of death and he was even less afraid of survival” is a bit more balanced. The suspense regarding Ren Yifei’s past has me on the edge of my seat! Looking forward to more details about it, even if everything’s sad (T_T)Qing Lin calling out Saman for thinking about Ren Yifei was great! Can’t wait to see what Saman thinks when he learns the true identity of his crane demon~

  5. Aww, it doesn’t sound like he’d have the lingering obsession for it, but crossing my fingers anyway that the blind boy is the ghost of a future world and Ren Yifei gets to avenge him.

  6. The protagonist is incredible, I would be resentful of all humanity if it had been him, imagine living a life like that and dying even more miserably?
