Translator's Note

In case these two sentences are confusing: Remember, the ‘ghost’ in the game does not have to possess its original body, like Granny Chun Zhi in the first game. In this case, they were saying that the ghost’s current body was here, as well as its original body. It is explained in the following text:

Translator's Note

Unimportant note, but damn. I can’t help but say that I felt something for Hua Li at the end. I can empathise with Hua Li…… Ha— goodbye Hua Li……

  1. Sympathy for Hua Li… Honestly, no matter her reasons, she behaved in a way that makes me feel nothing towards her. She attacked Ren Yifei and wants him dead, and she is doing it to prove herself or something, and that is pitiful, but she also seems to be similarly crazy to Qing Hong who would even kill the person he loves just to reach his goal of… raising a mutant plant…?

So, no sympathy from me, only a desire to continue reading and see what happens next!!

    Thanks for the chapter!

  2. Meanwhile, He Jun’s character is that of an ace/aro cultivation obsessed neat freak – who never seemed to be a threat to her to begin with? Crazy, jealous plant chick.

  3. thank you for the chapter!

made respect for Hua Li, she could’ve just been a cannon fodder but she’s a madlad and made everyone suffer together with her instead. now qing hong will not get his Shixiong. she dies, but everyone gets dragged down by her, that’s some skill (if she were the protagonist of a face-slapping novel she would be thriving every world)

  4. Man, this is only a mid-level instance? I can’t imagine the hardships of the higher tiers 😭😭😭

Hua Li is a good villain, so I can respect that and also pity how her own jealousy caused her own demise.

Thank you for a these wonderful chapters!!!!

  5. A success made by trampling on unrelated people isn’t one worth being proud of. People like He Jun because he helped them to his own detriment and doesn’t bother harming others, literally the exact opposite of what Hua Li is doing—she’s proving nothing except what everyone already knew, which is that He Jun would’ve been far better off without showing anything like compassion at all. Also, I have a deep and visceral disgust for those who try to force themselves on the obviously aro/ace, especially to the detriment of otherwise strong positive bonds. Your feelings, your problem, leave the poor man alone. Punishing someone for being the unwilling target of others’ feelings on top of that is just… ew. Anyway, here’s hoping that the sudden flood of water somehow helps, possibly by showing Ren Yifei the way out

Thank you so much for translating! <3

    • Love this! Thank you for enjoying the translation enough to share your feelings, I love discussing the plot!

My thoughts too, although I empathise with how Hua Li feels, I don’t condone her actions at all (she has so much potential, if only she was not blinded by her delusions of Qing Hong). As for Qing Hong, I don’t even understand how he feels, so he’s just a pathetic person in my eyes. Although I may find some scenes between the brothers quite bittersweet, it is uncomfortable when you factor in the OG He Jun’s actual feelings. He Jun is already nice enough to make his rejection clear, so all Qing Hong’s pain is brought on by himself. Ahhhh! I feel too much for fictional characters, if only I could spare the same amount of emotions in real life haha.

      • It really is such a shame that Hua Li didn’t get a chance to focus her attentions more positively, like on creating something that actually added to the world rather than taking things away… Maybe if the people around her had been a little less concerningly hung up on He Jun she’d have been better off, sigh. Not that the world of demons seems super healthy about desires and how to handle them in the first place haha

Fictional characters are much easier to get invested in! If nothing else, we usually get far more insight into their thoughts processes. Thanks for taking the time to discuss the plot as well! I really love this story and the fascinating array of characters in it <3

  6. Hello Fish-san! Thanks for the chapter!

Can I ask your permission to translate your work into Thai language for free and accept for donation? ( no commercial use)

Can you answer me on behalf of the author of this story? or do I have to contact the author directly? If yes then can you give me his contact? Sorry for this hassle. The people in my country care about it that even accepting donations needs permission too.

Thank you for your time! I hope you don’t mind. Have a nice dayyy XD

    • OH, I might be using the wrong word ;-; But I want you to understand that I would like to translate YOUR WORK, translate from English to Thai(my another language is so bad). So the main thing I really need is your permission~! I just want to make sure no one has to worried about me retranslating your translations and accepting donate too>_<

      • I have no problem with you translating my translation to Thai as long as you give credit. I’m glad it’s good enough for you to consider translating it to another language, haha ^^. However, my translation is by no means excellent, and there are a lot of things that I have to reword/restructure for certain sentences to flow well in English, which might cause some parts to be lost. Thus, I would advise you to look at the original source on jjwxc (and support the author) and only use my translation as a reference.

But you can also go about it however you want ¯_(ツ)_/¯. I hope the translation goes well!! You can also send me a link to your translation so I can put it up if you wish.
