Hi guys! I know I haven’t updated in a long time, so I wanted to let you know what’s going on. Although I’m still struggling with my health, that’s not what’s been keeping me from writing. Two weeks ago, my mum went to the hospital for radiography of the small intestine. Long story short, it ended with open heart surgery (the intestine was fine, but they found something else in the aorta near the heart valve instead). Let’s say it was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster! The operation was two days ago, and it went well. However, she’ll have to stay at the hospital for a while longer and then be in convalescence at home for at least three months.
