  2. ..? I don’t understand. At least I don’t think I do… I’m more worried about Saman. The CoD seems determined to make him vanish.

    Also can’t A Fei just devour ‘it’ and then undo the thing on Saman? Or is that method too much head through the wall…? Hm, well, whatever A Fei’s planning, I’m looking forward to seeing it.

    • Fish believes A Fei can only activate Devour on tangible things, such as when he had to lure the Mini-Game into revealing its true form so that he could devour it. It is unlike for him to absorb the curse since it seemed to have embedded itself into Saman’s soul. To get rid of the curse, A Fei would have to devour the thing that placed the curse on Saman, which would either be the ghost or the “mysterious being”/”god”.

      • Oh yeah, I meant the god thing, though devouring a curse also seems cool, just that I think A Fei can only devour things that lost a deal with him….

        Also, the ghost seems to have failed quite spectacularly so devouring that doesn’t seem to make much sense. As for the “god” or what it is, it is questionable wether it even has a tangible form… But devouring a god does sound cool. Though that sparks the question: after devouring the Big Bad System and gaining its worlds, isn’t he already a god? Just a sealed one? Kinda?

        Even at this point, A Fei is a mystery. Wonderful 🙂

  3. holy shit, I can’t believe I was actually right in calling out the fact that a few chapters ago, the inspectors didn’t acknowledge the roomate at all. turns out Ren Yifei is unfortunate enough to be sharing his dorm with this strange nonhuman.

    I’m wondering what the roomate could be. Strangely enough, it seems like he’s helping the og owner and Ren Yifei, but he can only be seen by just them. Either it’s the og owner’s delusions becoming somewhat real bc he participated in the ritual and “had his wish granted” or…idk. It definitely has to deal with the og owner acting emotionless later on, though.
