Chapter 1

Dr. Neo Overland / Nazareth Everette Odum :

Protagonist. Age sixteen at the beginning of the story. Black hair, Vermillion eyes. Currently attending Noble Academy as a second-year student of the Senior Division.

He is the bastard son of the Odum Family–the infamous Scummy Troublemaker, and a crazy maniac. Hated by many due to his scheming and wicked ways, he ruined lives left and right, while madly trying to kill his younger half-brother, the heir of the Odum family, due to terrible life choices and unfathomable reasons. He ultimately gets his just dessert when his younger brother rams him through the chest with a sword. He dies via blood loss next to a cliff.

Reincarnating into the modern world, he recovers from his many traumas and begins to rethink his life choices. He becomes Doctor Neo Overland and starts anew, repenting for all his mistakes by working as a medical researcher. Due to over-working himself, he dies again. He is given a second chance to relive his first life as Nazareth Everette Odum and this time, he wants to find his happiness. His morals are rather grey, but he’s trying. A bit cold, like the rest of his family.

Fun fact: His name is an acronym.

Note: He used to have very long hair that was never well-taken care of and made him look like Samara from The Ring. After coming back, he cuts it shorter. He also has a mole under his lip that is hardly ever mentioned, but it’s on the cover of the story.

Clark Smith :

Neo’s Co-Worker in the Modern World. A good friend. Supportive. Has Mother-Hen traits. He donated Neo’s body to science…

Chapter 2

Rainier Mosely :

Neo’s valet and personal servant. Age twenty at the beginning of the story. Brunette, Cornflower eyes. There are black intricate markings on the upper part of his face. He wears a blindfold to cover them. NOT a butler, despite the tag. Everyone, including the readers, assumes he’s a butler. Sometimes, the author forgets his occupation as well. But no, he’s a VALET.

He is a Capable Servant in the Odum Household despite being blindfolded. Nazareth branded his face many years ago with the Slave Emblem and so, Rainier grew to resent him. After Neo returns, their master-servant bond begins to mend itself. Neo wishes to remove the marks on his face and trusts Rainier despite knowing that he works for Aurelion.

Chapter 3

Gareth Altarius Odum :

Neo’s father. Black hair, Sapphire eyes. The Duke of Odum. Head of the Imperialist Faction and a Duke of the Rhine Empire. Very hot.

He loves all his children but has a hard time expressing his love. In his youth, when he was about eighteen, he slept with Alouysia Webbers. He feels great guilt for Nazareth because Alouysia had already died by the time he found him. He acts cold and unfeeling, but is actually a big papa bear and loving husband. Emotionally constipated. He loves his wife very much, even though she has the face of an ax-murderer and a limited daily word count. His favorite way to recharge is to hug his wife. Secretly hates politics and duties and paperwork. Secretly just wants to stay at home and be with his wife and children. When feeling vindictive, he tortures dolls made from straw with the Emperor’s name on it. The Emperor knows, btw, but he’s scared to confront Gareth about it…

Vespera Odum nee Arcadia :

Neo’s Stepmother. The Duchess of Odum. War Hero. Very hot.

Her family background is a mystery but during the Lesser Krieg War between the Rhine Empire and the Polska Nation, she was known as a monster on the battlefield. There are many paintings of her during the war, all very scary and gory, but Gareth enjoys collecting them. He fell in love with her personality, ax-murderer face, and daily limited word count. She loves all her children, Nazareth included, but from afar because her smiles are scary. She shows her love by staring at each and every one of her children in the face with an intense gaze…

Aurelion Briseis Odum :

Neo’s younger half-brother. Age fifteen at the beginning of the story. A first-year student of the Senior Division. Black hair, Sapphire eyes. Heir apparent and second son of the Odum Ducal.

Aloof and cold. Nazareth wants him dead. Gave up having a brotherly relationship because Nazareth hated him at first sight. Very paranoid, has PTSD from the quarterly, if not monthly, assassination attempts throughout his childhood. He is absolutely terrified of his older brother. It is presumed that he fell in love with a commoner boy in his second year of senior high. Killed his older brother because he was crazy. He is close friends with the Crown Prince and has connections with heirs of the Imperialist Faction families. When nervous, his index finger would pick at his thumb. He likes tea/coffee time with Neo. An Ice-Cube. He melts… sometimes. A family-con.

He has some issues that need to be resolved after Neo came back. He is conflicted by his brother’s change, which is understandable considering his childhood environment consisted of being tormented and placed in life-threatening situations. As much as he wants to deny it, however, Aurelion still desires a good relationship with his brother… despite everything. Is he too good for Neo? Maybe. What a great little brother! Yeah, he really needs therapy…

Guinivere Isolde Odum :

Neo’s younger half-sister. Age fourteen at the beginning of the story. A third-year student of the Junior Division. White hair, Sapphire eyes. The youngest child of the Odum Family.

Born prematurely. Her hair turned white due to a childhood illness, but her eyes still prove that she is an Odum. Her disposition is similar to the rest of the family, cold and aloof, although, at times, her innate childishness would reveal itself. It is very cute, but no one tells her that lest she becomes embarrassed and tries to violently duel them. She nearly became a casualty of Nazareth’s schemes. She has two close friends, Anna and Mary, who share connections with her. In the past, Neo found her endearing but hadn’t wanted her to be involved with him because she was innocent. More like Vespera than you would think…

She is at the top of her combat class. She has a collection of handkerchiefs displayed in one of her drawers. These handkerchiefs belonged to her brother, her mother, and her father. Most are from her father, but Neo is slowly catching up in numbers.

Chapter 4-5

Alouysia Webbers :

Neo’s mummy. Blond hair, Vermillion eyes, Dead. A famous prostitute in the Red Light District of the Rhine Empire. Very hot, but this picrew was the only one I could find that was capable of even describing a quarter of her beauty. She can literally stand there and do nothing, and people will still go “Please, take my money.”

Gareth slept with her once in his youth, before his marriage to Vespera, and that led to Neo’s birth. She raised Neo to the best of her abilities before dying of an illness when Neo was six years old. She rests on a hill in St. Achillas Cemetary, surrounded by dandelions that Neo spread when she was first buried.

Fun fact: She died when she was twenty-seven.

Sutton Graham :

A commoner boy. Age fifteen at the beginning of the story. Brown hair, Grey eyes. Son of the owner of a flower shop, Graham Florist.

He lives with his father. His father has a green thumb. His mother died when he was young. One of the reasons as to why Nazareth died. In the past, during Nazareth’s third-year at Noble Academy, Sutton entered the school as a second-year student with a scholarship. He manages to capture the respect and heart of the nobles in the school due to his kind deposition and hard-working personality. He gained Nazareth’s hatred when he caught the attention of Aurelion. Nazareth kidnaps him and tried to push him off a cliff. In this life, Neo was buying flowers for his mother and he met Sutton at Graham Florist. Sutton finds him adorable.

Chapter 10

Tybalt Phelan :

Neo’s friend. Age sixteen at the beginning of the story. A second-year student of the Senior Division. Strawberry blonde hair, Lavender eyes.

The eldest illegitimate son of the Phelan Baron. His mother was a maid who died during childbirth. He is seen as Nazareth’s third lackey, but he is actually a spy planted by Aurelion. He is known to be sly and clever. Has a fake happy-go-lucky demeanor. He enjoys giving people nicknames. In the past, Nazareth holds counsel with him in order to scheme more ways to harm Aurelion. Although he gives advice to Nazareth, he doesn’t actually like him. Nazareth trusts him the most, though. He leaves the academy when Nazareth begins to lose grasp of his control. This is around the time when Royce’s death is reported. He imposes his own self-exile from the baron house and goes on to become a successful merchant. In the friendship dynamic, he is “mom”. In the four-man team, he is usually in charge of leading and organizing.

Finneas Ellon Dagon :

Neo’s friend. Age sixteen at the beginning of the story. A second-year student of the Senior Division. Dark, curly brown hair, Maroon Brown eyes.

The second son of the Dagon Household, a Viscount Family. Has a somewhat sickly constitution. He acts timid and cowardly in front of Nazareth to avoid conflict since Nazareth’s status in noble society is an awkward one. Nazareth treated him like a servant after attaining him as a lackey (forcibly). In the past, he admitted that Nazareth was the true mastermind behind the schemes and served as evidence when Aurelion and his friends interrogated him and threatened to bring down the entire Dagon Household. Neo thinks he is an innocent lamb. Behind his facade, he is crass, hot-headed, and foul-mouthed. Swears a lot. Drops the F-bomb a lot. In the friend dynamic, he is “dad”. In the four-man team, he’s the magic expert.

Chapter 11:

Professor Erick Rickman :

Neo’s Snarky Professor. He’s been looking like a mid-thirty-year-old man for decades. Very hot.

Professor of Alchemy and Literature in the noble academy. Gives two shits about other people’s opinions. Stoic, strict, and sarcastic. Kinda cranky and grumpy, but he means well. Was killed by some terrorists who broke into the school in Neo’s last life because despite what he says about not giving a damn, he still protects his students. He is related to Finneas on his mother’s side. Figures. Has a very dramatic rivalry with Professor Dogstar.

Chapter 12:

Titus Phelan :

Tybalt’s older brother. Second legitimate son of the Phelan Family, a Baron household known for its multiple illegitimate children. He got disowned at some point and was the owner of The Lover Cafe. Tried to kidnap Aurelion and ended up getting his ass handed to him by Neo. He is generally referred to by Neo and Aurelion as the “Titty guy.”

Chapter 18:

Royce Callum Benedick / Sir Roy Pierre:

Neo’s friend. Age sixteen at the beginning of the story. A second-year student of the Senior Division. Red hair, Red eyes.

Son of Marquess Benedick. In the past, he was an idiotic and loyal lackey to Nazareth. Nazareth used him to torment Sutton and scheme against Aurelion. When Aurelion and his friends finally found evidence of Nazareth’s crimes, Nazareth pushed him and his family toward ruins to save himself. Some of the families who the Benedicks oppressed wanted revenge. He dies a month after the Benedick Household collapses due to torture. He was turned into a human swine. He was tossed into the sea after being placed inside a luggage trunk. He drowned.

He is reborn as Roy Pierre in the Modern World and starts life anew. Becomes a successful jewelry designer and owner of Khartier, a world-renown jewelry company. At one point, he was knighted by the Queen of Angland. Died in a plane crash back in the modern world and comes back, tired and wary. Big fan of Neo Overland, though. He is mending his relationship with Neo currently. In the friendship dynamic, he is the uncle/cousin. In the four-man team, he is the reinforcement to Neo’s role of vanguard.

Chapter 21:

Professor Blake Dogstar :

A professor in the noble academy. Head Teacher of the current Third Year Senior Department. Has an aggressive rivalry with Professor Rickman.

Pherbian Wilbert Dagon :

Finneas’ older brother. Heir of the Dagon Viscount Family. Very hot, but not significant enough in this volume to warrant an actual picture. A man of few words. Described as a once-in-a-lifetime genius. Sole apprentice of the Magic Tower’s Grand Wizard. He is good friends with Rowan Quill, who is the head of the Charm Department. A workaholic that vibes similarly to Neo.

Rowan Quill :

Head of the Magic Tower’s Charm Department. The first magician with a lowborn background to become the Head of Charms. Due to a failed assassination attempt, he has a curse that turns him into a cat when he ingests citrus. He is Neo’s biggest critic when it comes to his atrocious handwriting.

Fun fact: His cat form is similar to a black Maine Coon, but BIGGER. About the size of a seven-year-old child… so you can understand–with Neo’s trauma–why he’s so scared.

Chapter 22:

Madam Constanze :

Madam of the brothel Alouysia used to work at. She took over after the old Madam died. She is Neo’s aunt in everything but blood. Despite not seeing her nephew in years, she welcomes him with open arms. Very hot, but no pictures… for now.

Chapter 24:

Fredrick Meyers :

Neo’s former classmate. Aurelion’s subordinate. He temporarily (and passionately) played the role of Gilde, the male lead, in the Tragedy of Ohmlet, a play that Neo’s literature class is reading and performing. He was transferred out of Neo’s class because he was not doing his job right. Becomes a costume technician for the school play despite being transferred out of class. He is very helpful and coordinates well with Lady Lettuse.

Chapter 26:

Polonius Meyers :

A Junior Division student. Frederick Meyer’s younger brother. He is usually sparring with Guinivere, but he never wins. Guinivere hates him because he’s annoying, but loves to kick his ass whenever he challenges her. He tripped on the steps of the Academy and took Neo down with him. Neo cushioned his fall.

Fun Fact: For some reason, many people are jealous of him…

Chapter 27:

Elliot Levi Moores :

Age sixteen at the beginning of the story. A second-year student of the Senior Division. Ash brown hair, Black eyes.

The second son of the Moores family. He has a sickly elder half-brother who is the heir apparent. He is envious of the attention his older brother is always getting since childhood. His mother, Alicia Moores nee Castas, poisoned Earl Moores’ first wife, Lydia Moores before making a move to marry him. He is an unknowing pawn of his mother and is manipulated by her to commit foul deeds for the Castas. He has his own two lackeys, who are efficient and follow him like a shadow. Attention starved. Formerly had a connection with Neo when they shared secrets. He holds a bond with Neo, Julius, and Lester. His deepest secret–he wants to be seen. His fate is unknown after he was taken away by the imperial guards. Neo dies before he could witness his sentencing.

Astella Moores nee Castas :

The beautiful second wife of Earl Moores. She is from the Castas Family, a mysterious family who is secretly infamous for their underground connections and criminal activities. She caters to her eldest son and purposely neglects her youngest for the sake of controlling him.

Chapter 28:

Serian Lupus Romulus :

Crown Prince. Fifteen at the beginning of the story. A first-year student of the Senior Division. White hair, Amber eyes.

Crown Prince of the Rhine Empire. The only child of the Emperor and Empress. He is Aurelion’s childhood friend, playmate, and study mate. He was deathly afraid of Nazareth and was incredibly suspicious when Neo cut his hair. In the past, Aurelion tried his best to protect him from his crazy brother, which led to Serian realizing that Nazareth was dangerous and wouldn’t hesitate to use those that Aurelion cares for to get to him. He met Nazareth for the first time when Aurelion invited him over for a tea party. Nazareth showed up and joined them. He made poisoned tea for Serian, knowing that Aurelion would drink it in his place. Serian is protective of Aurelion since he had always been beside Aurelion whenever the other got poisoned and became bedridden. He thinks the Odum Family has a few loose screws. Neo thinks he’s adorable. A bit timid, but he’ll grow into his personality eventually. Potential rival for little brother position.

Chapter 29:

Lester Dartmouth :

Age fifteen at the beginning of the story. A first-year student of the Senior Division. Grey hair, Grey eyes.

The son of the Dartmouth family, a baron family, known for its knighthood and control of the Silver Raven Division in the royal army. Very… Bitter. He is an “act now ask questions later” kinda guy. The first person to tackle the Crown Prince and proceed to beat him up. Hot-headed. He is the heir apparent and infamous for his swordplay. A bitter rival to Memphis Deerborn, the heir apparent and first son of the Deerborn family, known for its knighthood and control of the Golden Lion Division in the royal army. He has strong underground connections due to Baron Dartmouth’s illegal dealings with the Castas Family and other criminal institutions. Baron Dartmouth desires to defeat the Golden Lion Division, thus, the Golden Lion and Silver Raven knights are known for their rivalry and power struggle. Holds a bond with Neo, Elliot, and Julius. His deepest secret–He doesn’t want to be alone. Lester’s fate is unknown after he was caught for his crimes. Neo dies before he could witness his sentencing. Potential rival for little brother position.

Chapter 34:

Malark Ortho Arcadia :

Neo’s first step-uncle. Pretty hot.

Owner of Ortho and Artho Apothecary. He is the eldest brother of Vespera Odum nee Arcadia. He doesn’t really like anyone except for his family and wife, Elleanor, who is an herbalist residing in the Polska Nation. He enjoys experimenting with plants. He is most similar to Vespera in temperament but has mellowed somewhat after getting married. His soul was split in half after he walked into a badly drawn dream array. Despite being the original owner of the body, he doesn’t appear often unless he is in the presence of his wife.

Ortho Arcadia :

Neo’s second step-uncle. Young-looking, white hair, verdant green eyes, glasses. Pretty hot, not gonna lie.

Owner of Ortho and Artho Apothecary. He is the second-eldest brother of Vespera Odum nee Arcadia. Elegant and neat. He speaks very formally. Surprisingly the nicest out of all his siblings, and a lot more empathetic compared to his husband, Artho. He is married to Artho Arcadia, who manifested from him during the Lesser Krieg War.

Artho Arcadia :

Neo’s step-uncle-in-law. Young-looking, white hair, pale brown eyes, a scar on his left eye. Also very hot.

Herbalist of Ortho and Artho Apothecary. He is the brother-in-law of Vespera Odum nee Arcadia and Malark Ortho Arcadia. For the record, he is technically not related to the Arcadia siblings. Please read Chapter 34 carefully for why this is. He is married to Ortho Arcadia. He was mostly in charge of the body during the war and was the reason why ‘Malark Ortho Arcadia’ became the Herbalist of the Rhine. He is roguish and a bit of a troublemaker. Vespera and Malark have no idea why Ortho married him, but as long as their brother is happy, they support the relationship despite how confusing it is.

Chapter 35:

Julius Cain Elysium :

Age eighteen at the beginning of the story. A third-year student of the Senior Division. Blond hair, Vermillion eyes. There is a white ribbon around his neck.

The seventh heir and child of Duke Elysium. Due to ingesting a neurotoxin, his body is in poor condition. He is usually coughing out blood and is bedridden. While he can sometimes walk, he sustained severe nerve damage throughout his body after being poisoned and requires a wheelchair when he has an attack. The white ribbon around his neck is the symbol of the Elysium heir. There is a spell that protects the neck, preventing attacks that try to go for the throat. Julius is the last “shady noble” that Neo reunites with. He is also the oldest, set to graduate in a year. By the time Sutton started going to the Academy, he was no longer in the Academy. A closeted pushover. He is tethered to Neo, Lester, and Elliot. His deepest secret–he wants to live. His fate after Nazareth’s death was unknown.

Extra 1:

Eubulous Caesar Elysium :

Julius’ father.

 Leroy Branson Moores :

Elliot and Leotine’s father.

Lettuse Fleur de Lis :

Known as Miss Lettuse or Lady Lettuse. She is Neo’s classmate.

Neo’s classmate.
