“This is dumb.” Ye Xun commented as he stood outside the entrance door to the main room with Chang Min. His mother wanted them to enter through the door so that someone could announce them.
Chang Min hit his shoulder against Ye Xun, “Calm down. We will stay for an hour or so, promise.”
Sighing, Ye Xun grabbed Chang Min’s hand, intertwining them. He used Chang Min’s hand to ground him, “That is all I will be thinking about—leaving.”
He pushed the door open, still holding Chang Min’s hand as he walked in with Chang Min following him. Once they walked in, a person announced to the crowd, “Entering: Young master Ye Xun and his plus one.”
Gritting his teeth, Ye Xun was getting ready to complain about Chang Min being known as his “plus one” when Chang Min stopped him by shaking his head. “It is fine, Ye Xun. I don’t mind.”

“Thank you,” Chang Min whispered. He did not want a scene to happen. He already feels nervous about being surrendered by other people. “We should see your mother first.”
Ye Xun did not want to see his mother, but talking with her now would make it easier to leave later. They made their way to Li Hua. She was speaking with an older couple while gripping her husband’s arm.
When Li Hua saw them coming over, she smiled at her son, only for it to falter slightly, once she noticed him and Chang Min holding hands.
She held in her criticism, not letting her grin crack.
“Qiao Wang and Qiao Delan, this is my son Ye Xun. And Ye Xun, this is Qiao Wang and his wife, Qiao Delan. They are the founders of Bluestone Entertainments. The biggest entertainment company in the world.” Li Hua introduced.
Ye Xun gave a short bow with no expression, “Nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Qiao.” Chang Min bit his lip, looking down as he felt awkward. He was happy with not talking, but it still felt awkward since Li Hua utterly ignored him.
And Ye Xun felt a certain way about it too from how hard he was squeezing Chang Min’s hand.
Qiao Wang and Qiao Delan glanced at their hands with a judgmental look but did not comment on it. Instead, they gave a fake smile. “It is nice to meet you too, Ye Xun. We heard so much about you from your mother but never got the chance to meet you.”
Li Hua lightly laughed, “I apologize for him not showing up until now. He is a busy man, just like how his father was.”

Finally calming down, Ye Xun’s tense body started to relax. He kissed Chang Min’s lips, not caring for the stares glancing their way. Chang Min shyly kissed back.
They moved apart. Chang Min and Ye Xun decided to stay at the table, talking with each other while ignoring the party. During that time, Li Wei tried messing with them, but they ignored her.
Well, it was more of Chang Min lying his head on Ye Xun’s shoulder to not look at her while Ye Xun told her off. Then, a few minutes after, Li Hua tried introducing Ye Xun to other people, even some potential dates.
Which deeply annoyed Chang Min while Ye Xun decided to ignore her and the people she introduced to him.
After a while, Chang Min started to grow tired, “I am ready to go.” He told Ye Xun. Ye Xun looked happy about that as he grabbed Chang Min’s hand, ready to walk out.
And as they were getting ready to leave, the door opened as the person announced, “Entering: Xian Bo and Yao Zhihao.”
Chang Min looked up due to hearing Yao Zhihao’s name, but his heart stopped when he gazed upon Xian Bo. “Ah, fuck.” He cursed out loud, causing Ye Xun to stop.
“What’s wrong?” Ye Xun asked.
Before Chang Min could say, “it is fine, and they should go,” Xian Bo’s eyes met his. A smile of recognition appeared on Xian Bo’s face as he saw Chang Min. He whispered something to Yao Zhihao, his eyes not once leaving Chang Min before he started walking over to them.
Chang Min felt his heart falling to his stomach, “Ye Xun, remember when you asked who I slept with?”
“Yes?” Ye Xun questioningly responded, not understanding why Chang Min brought it up.
“Well, you are going to meet them.”
