Chang Min and Ye Xun jumped into the car, quickly driving off once they left the house. Chang Min glances out the window, leaning against it as he secretly watches Ye Xun from it.
Chang Min took in Ye Xun’s handsome features, from his square-shaped face to his beautifully upturned grey eyes and all the way to his soft, downward-turned lips.
Shaking away a blush reaching his face, Chang Min moved his thoughts away from the feel of Ye Xun’s lips that became imprinted in his mind.
He started thinking about what got them to this point and how it seemed like Ye Xun wanted this for a while. Chang Min bit his lip, wondering if he should ask the question appearing in his mind.
The silence continued to fill the car as Ye Xun did not want to turn on the music. Instead, he wanted to enjoy the quiet and lovely scenic ride.
But he could feel Chang Min thinking about something complicated, causing tension to begin building.
“Chang Min, if you have something to ask, you can. You know I don’t mind.” Ye Xun tried to reassure Chang Min.
Chang Min touched his ponytail, bringing it forwards as he nervously ran his fingers through it. He looked away from the window, leaning back in his seat as he faced the front.
He glanced down into his lap, not wanting to see Ye Xun’s face as he asked his question. “Have you always felt an attraction towards me?”
After asking his question, Chang Min wanted to cover his mouth because he felt embarrassed and stupid for saying it.
Ye Xun didn’t mind the question. He knew that sooner or later, he would tell Chang Min what he truly felt for him and how long he felt it. But, a part of him did not want to because his truthfulness could build a bridge between them.
And Ye Xun does not want that. That is the main reason why he initially kept his attraction for Chang Min a secret.
“When I first saw you as a child, I thought that you looked sad but beautiful—like a painter telling a tragic story through their art. I wanted nothing more than to keep you at my side and not let go.
“And when I lost my father, it only grew worse because I did not want to lose you too.” Ye Xun paused for a second like he was gathering his thoughts before continuing again.

God, Chang Min wanted to hit his head on the window. More memories started to come back when he would whine to Ye Xun each time the man received a love confession. He used to tell him how lonely and sad he would be if he (Ye Xun) started dating someone, making him forget about Chang Min.
And when Ye Xun would tell them no, Chang Min would always feel happy and relieved. So then, maybe, he should think about everything he said and did that dealt with Ye Xun. Because perhaps then he could see how his mother would always guess Ye Xun.
After going through all this, the real reason for Chang Min’s deep blush is because of the last sentence that Ye Xun told him.
It took everything in him not to moan at those words. He did move in his seat, crossing his legs along the way as he became turned on.
The number of times that Chang Min laid in Ye Xun’s bed, he could not help but think if Ye Xun would stare at him, wanting to touch him all over but knew he couldn’t.

Chang Min took a slow breath as his mind wondered how many times Ye Xun touched himself, wishing it was Chang Min’s hand instead.

The long silence began to worry Ye Xun, even though he did not show it on his face. His hands tightened around the wheel as he berated himself, thinking that Chang Min did not want to be near him after what he said.
Ye Xun thought he had frightened Chang Min away from him. But, of course, anyone would want to run away if someone said they were obsessed with them to the point of wanting to keep them to themselves.
Simultaneously, they both opened their mouths as Chang Min stupidly said the first thing on his mind, and Ye Xun wanted to “diffuse” the mood he believed was there.
“My father said no sex on the first date.”
“Chang Min, if you don’t want to go on this date anymore, it is okay; I can turn the car around and take you home.”
Once their words hit the air and they both registered what each other said, Chang Min finally looked at Ye Xun confused while Ye Xun relaxed his clenched hand against the wheel.
“What?” Ye Xun responded as he wished to look at Chang Min, but he couldn’t since he had to pay attention to the road.
Instead, a laugh slipped past his lips.
Chang Min groaned, finally hitting the window as he wanted to leave the car. Nowadays, Ye Xun has been making his face red all the time, that it might end up permanent if this keeps going on.
But, first, he wanted to reassure Ye Xun that he still wanted this, “I still wish for this date to happen. Your possessiveness doesn’t bother me because I realized I am the same when it comes to you. So, you don’t have to worry about it.”
Ye Xun smiled at those words. His heart and mind wholly relaxed since he knew that Chang Min did not want to run away from him. But it also builds more into the feeling of Ye Xun wanting to possess him. He would never let Chang Min go, now.
Instead of letting all that be known, Ye Xun could not help but tease Chang Min so that they could go back to a playful and peaceful mood.
“So, about the no sex on the first date, is that what you want or your father?” Ye Xun teased.
Chang Min punched Ye Xun’s shoulder, “Shut up.”
“Hey,” Ye Xun responded from the hit, “I am still driving.”
Chang Min rolled his eyes, although a smile started appearing on his face with apparent amusement, “You’re fine. Now, pay attention to the road.”
“ That is what I am doing.” Ye Xun spoke under his breath, which Chang Min heard since the car was silent from any background noises.
Although Chang Min did not verbally respond as he rolled his eyes again and leaned against the window, he went back to watching Ye Xun and the outside scenery from it.
Time passed as Ye Xun grew closer to the restaurant that he wanted to take Chang Min to.
Secretly, he cleared the whole place out, reserving it for only him and Chang Min because he did not wish for Chang Min to grow overwhelmed with the number of people that would have been there.
As they got closer and closer, Ye Xun could not help breaking the tranquil silence by jokingly asking, once again, “So, no sex after the date?”
Chang Min loudly groaned before turning towards Ye Xun and glaring at him, “If you ask me that one more time, I will jump out of this car and walk home.”
“I am just teasing, Chang Min.”
A long minute of no response passed by before Chang Min looked away, speaking under his breath with a blush, “If the date goes well, we can.”
Ye Xun swears he almost, and he means almost, crashed the car after Chang Min’s last words hit him.
