I think we might have witnessed wrath at the end of the chapter when the mob went on a murderous rampage. But it is an interesting premise. It mentioned over and over again that these people (aside from our MC) are not good people. They are all sinners. So the surviving conditions are probably to try and rise above the temptation to sin and dodge other sinners, if you succeed you survive.
I wonder if Lu Yichen counts as one of these sinners!!

Aahh, I love all the dog-food. Our MC and ML feed us so well. And I like all the allusions that despite MC missing memories of the previous life(lives?) they are clearly an old married couple. In fact, I am pretty sure it was hinted that the first arc was not actually the first time they met and fell in love either. Damn, the quote down is deep. When multitudes do it, it becomes ‘justice’ no matter how horrible it is. Which is why social media is so deadly and have led to lots of suicide.
