  5. Ugh… why does this remind me of that one pic… where like, a guy had on shoes and pants on, but there was a bit of a gap there where skin showed, except you couldn’t see it bc it was absolutely COVERED in mosquitoes. shudder

    • I like Wang Pengpai and I hope he turns out to be cool, but he’s definitely suspicious. I think at this point most of the tourists have had scenes where we get to hear what they’re thinking and get a sense of what their “deal” is, but I don’t think we’ve gotten that for Wang Pengpai, even though he was the first tourist introduced and shows up a lot.

      We also don’t know much about his titles or items. I’d guess that he has a strength/agility based title, but more importantly I’m pretty sure he has something that helps him with persuasion. He was able to get Xu Chen to let down his guard and talk about his titles, and in this chapter he was able to convince Zhao Hongtu and Yu Hean that the others were still alive and to not go looking for them. That’s an ability with the potential to be super evil, but so far his uses of it have been neutral/good.
