  1. …I’m not happy. I understand the plan, but still. Humans are terrible animals because of two things: 1. They have a moral compass, and 2. They have an evolutionary defect, which leads to uninhibited plundering. Normal animals hunt and hoard to feed themselves and their cubs, to impress their partners, and they fight to survive. Humans? Too many thoughts, destroying our own planet in their greed, only thinking about wether they could instead of questioning if they should.

    Also: Still waiting for Saman.jpg

    Thank you for the chapter.

  2. Well, at least we know that even in the original timeline the base was unlikely to have survived more then a couple years at best. That gives me a bit piece at least. Also, lol at the fact that the base leader has been hiding underground this whole time. What a loser.

  3. Can’t wait for Ren Yifei to force the base leader to confront his own lack of humanity! If the sister is the Scarlet Witch as a ghost I wonder if seeing “himself” captured is what’s so upsetting. Now waiting for Saman to break out the Scarlet Witch and let these partners end the instance together. But Ren Yifei had better get his cards back! Urgh, what a gamble

Thank you so much for translating! <3

    • I think it’s also possible that the sister in the real timeline found out about the Scarlet Witch and had a brief period where she too, tried to help him. I feel like this instance is more of a “monstrous humans greedy for survival” vs “sentient humanoid monster with no choice but to be captured and abused” type of good vs evil scenario. It’d explain it more than the Scarlet Witch himself being upset about his capture which would indicate some kind of self-greed. Especially since there’s already previous examples of good humans.

*shrug* But I could be wrong. I look forward to this arc’s ending!

  4. As a person who read the mtl, I have spoilers but i will notHowever i cannot help but comment on:”Comparing the two, the flowers raised in this greenhouse were really luckluster”Unfortunately for you, the flowers you thought were luckluster was the main piece of the greenhouseThose who have clear eyes are the ones who can truely see its beauty
