BTW, I don’t know if I should mention this but I just realized Lin Yi’s name sounded like the Chinese pronunciation of 0-1. Remember that 2-6 rule world with the woman in red? I remember he once tried to pit the monster into saying Linlin’s name through a homophone (1 – 1 = 0) and asked the monster twice to complete the name. Then I once Google translated a phrase with a character for one/alone/I and saw it was actually pronounced as yi. There was also ‘it’ that appears from time to time that somehow reminds me of the monster characteristics (stiff expression and the strange reactions he got from other monsters). I’m not sure if this is a coincidence or a deliberate clue by the author but I’m gunning for the guess that Lin Yi is surely related to 0-1 in one way or another.
