Assuming ‘Lin Yi’ is It (and not just possessing It) then ‘Lin Yi’ wants to do the replay because without a successful reply everyone dies, including Lin Yi. I expect ‘Lin Yi’ does not want that since it seems it went out of its way to create(?) Lin Yi for a reason.
