    • I read a bit ahead on MTL cause the misgendering gave me the Ickes as well. It gets cleared up soon. Unfortunately for Haung Ji people can sense his biology so they default to the wrong pronouns until it’s cleared up.

    • I dont really think theres any kind of misunderstanding. It’s obvious hes a woman. They just aren’t aware he identifies as a man. If huang ji cares or is bothered by it, I’m sure hed say something.

  6. I really love this novel so I want to donate but I honestly don’t know how I tried to go through the link but even translated I can’t make it that far. I do want to say I’m happy that your translating this I was about to cry when I couldn’t find any legible translation.

    Huang Ji cast him a sidelong glance, but didn’t say anything. –> Missed a line after this: Tianheng smiled at him: “Congratulations, Sect Brother Huang.”

    As a young lady, she hadn’t purposefully trained her physical body. –> As a a young girl who hadn’t purposefully honed her physical body, although she had been… (the “young lady” part is just a descriptor here, not the reason for the lack of physical training).

    In addition, they knew from the beginning that everything would be up to Tianheng’s luck. –> they knew from the beginning that all of this (opportunity) was due to Tianheng’s fortune.

  10. aa, I’m glad that the Fallen Soul Palace Master made an appearance again! Aside from the Sun and Blood Palace Masters, he was one that I was paying the most attention to as well.

  11. I appreciate what Tianheng is doing for Huang Ji here– It’s very similar to what I and others do for my trans male friends. If someone misgenders them, just loudly and clearly correctly gender them. If it was an honest mistake, then they are corrected without either party being embarrassed. If they are being malicious, then they don’t get the satisfaction of seeing you or your friend get upset.

    It honestly means a lot to see a ML do this for his friend, especially in a genre where MLs are often super traditional and controlling. He genuinely seems to see Huang Ji as his equal and a fellow man, even more than Gu Zuo does. Tianheng, I adore you!!!
