  9. Haha, the poor guy with the jealous streak didn’t even get a name, so definitely not important for anything other than being a plot point to compare to our protag. Tianheng is obviously going to ace his test. I mean, the author didn’t spend all those words talking up his special constitution and IQ for nothing.

    Translation notes:

  11. Ah, we love to see it, we love to see it! Naturally, Tianheng would do well~ His body is heaven’s envy, his IQ is godly, and we all know his physical prowess is nothing to scoff at. In what world would any of this be hard for him? Plus, the funniest thing to me is everyone going he’s twenty two? guess he still has SOME potential, maybe, when Tianheng has been training for only… what, four years at most? More accurately, it’s like. Three and a half years, maximum. And every single other person there has been doing so their whole lives. Plus Tianheng is entirely self-taught, while the rest have definitely had guidance, if not outright mentors/masters to follow. So really, who’s the slow one here?

    I do have to admit though, I kind of mentally replaced the first test of the second round with that weird rock from… I think it was the precursor to the hundred countries tournament? The one that they all had to attempt to lift to gauge their strength, and then hit as hard as possible. Or that wall from the Qingyun Sect! … Tianheng would probably shatter both of those now, though. And his previous competition!
