仞 – Ren, an ancient unit of measurement, usually for height or depth. Depending on the time period, it is equal to either seven or eight 尺. Therefore, 1,000 仞 is about 2,500 meters tall.

      • Recently, I’ve been using the website’s scheduling function in order to upload chapters on a timely basis. However, I’ve noticed that the website tends to lag behind a few minutes, so loading errors may occur when the chapter is just uploaded. It usually fixes itself, if given a few minutes and a refresh.

First come, first served.I wonder what kinda sect Tianheng will join? ‘Cause, y’know— he’s gonna have to. Stranger in a strange land, needs to get his footing, and he’s way too bright to not know that. Plus! More resources to dedicate to hunting down his pharmacist, if not necessarily time.     • I don’t remember the exact chapter, probably one of the chapters of Volume 4, but it was explained that the process is randomized. The Peripheral Continents are split into regions that cover the eight cardinal directions, and there are four paths that connect to the Central Continent. A person from the Southern Expanse is most likely to be placed on the Southern Road, but there’s a chance to be set on any of the other paths.
