  9. Ah, the stereotypical level up in the middle of combat cliche. I’m glad the author didn’t draw out Tianheng’s fight over several chapters like other xianxia stories might have. This bandit guy didn’t feel special enough to deserve something like that.

    Translation notes:

    These pills had also saved him on many occasions. –> also saved him effort on many occasions.

    inpatient –> impatient

    out his strongest attack — (there’s a line missing after this)可是那股金红的力量，却骤然将他吞没。–> But that terrifying reddish-gold power actually swallowed it up. (ie. absorbed the attack)

  10. Cute note/extension (at the end of the chapter), that our lovley Gu Zuo went shoping for more medicinal herbs ~ ʱªʱªʱª(*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ)) while his hubby to be is battling with the Bandit leader.

    suspicious look at (mental) BL tag ??? I feel like the author (or translator? or me?) has read too much BL, the descriptions are leaking into fight scenes.
