     Ahem…I mean, they definitely learned self-restraint and were chaste angels until Wei Qing was outrageously attractive enough for the need to pleasure him to override Yue Fei’s deep desire to protect Wei Qing (even from his own impulses). For sure, just one slip after 31 years of perfection!

     Poor QiQi. Poor everyone in this cultivation world that they are essentially just doing one extended roleplay scene in. At least they help out a little when they’re not flirting with one another. I have it on good (fishy) authority that despite their best efforts, they still ended up punishing evildoers and introducing the concept of ‘wildlife refuge’ to their cultivation friends.

     …And yes, maybe they mostly did that so they could build a cottage at the foot of a mountain and just safari watch magical creatures while endlessly fucking, but it still accomplished good things! Still a win! They should still be able to bank some good karma off of it!

3. For the longest time, whenever Yu Fei said “Wei Qing, be good” I always heard Lan Zhan saying “Wei Ying” in the same warning tone so it doesn’t surprise me that Wei Qing is the brat of the cultivation world 😄.
   • After their tenth time being politely asked to leave an establishment due to their nightly ‘cultivation’ being too much for the construction methods (and sensibilities) of the era:

     Yue Fei: Wei Qing, come to Yiling with me. We’re too much for Gusu, no matter how much you like the drinks.

     Wei Qing: One more time, one more time, who knows when we’ll be back?

     Yue Fei: …If you’re good, on the way we can go mess with that Jin Guangshan character your brother was splashing around in outrage over. Redeem all his ladies out of the brothel and maybe send him some strongly worded letters about personal decorum.

     Wei Qing: Okay! Bye Gusu! It’s been fun!

     Lan Qiren in the distance: Oh, thank goodness.
