Now, after that whole drama, the teacher who was silently watching the show decided to intervene and sent Emily to the Principal for further punishment. This teacher needs to take some communication classes since she keeps getting snubbed by the class and it’s only her and the other teachers are fine.
Luca accepts their apologies but it doesn’t stop there. His previously temporarily disbanded fan club felt super guilty, then they went on trying to give him consolatory gifts and his ex-group of friends felt even worse. They were jealous of him and they leapt at the chance to destroy him even if he wasn’t guilty. They were too mortified to even look at him, forget asking him for his forgiveness.
The antics of the class got so bad Luca took refuge on the roof, tired of them apologizing and him forgiving them. He laid against the wall and counted over all the things they dumped on him for his forgiveness.
“Yeesh… I said it’s okay the first time, but now they just can’t accept it once but are asking again and again. And what am I going to do with all these things… Wow, someone gave me a tampon in a hurry I guess? This is just weird!”
Then he heard footsteps coming from the entryway of the roof, he crossed his fingers hoping it wasn’t someone who wanted his forgiveness again and he held his breath.
Turns out it was just Hirokazu, Lillith and Ashton, who was looking for him to talk.
“Aha Hirokazu WAS right! Ashton, you owe me ten bucks, LOSER! I knew I was right to trust the weirdo mysterious dude.” Lillith reached out a hand towards Ashton for her award. He had no alternative but to grudgingly give her his hard-earned pocket money over this dumb bet. Hirokazu rolled his eyes and waved at Luca before coming over and sitting adjacent to him.
Luca remembered the whole protective hug thing with him and he turned into a refreshing shade of pink. Lillith chuckled at this and Ashton was still grumpy about the bet so he didn’t notice. Hirokazu kind of guiltily apologizes to him.
“Hey, I’m sorry if you got uncomfortable with me doing that…”
“Oh no, geez, thanks for saving me by the way. Never came to thank you until now…”
Cue the awkwardly cute silence and Ashton interrupting and Lily smiling her face off for precisely what you’re thinking.

“Hey, are we a new gang now or what? I’ve been wondering about that for ages and I wanna know!”
“Oh no, we are here to go bungee jumping from the rooftop since we’re so mad! Of course, we unanimously decided we were going to be a ragtag team of adorable misfits!”
The three boys stared at her for a long time before all four started laughing until tears came out.
“Oh gosh, a RAG TAG TEAM OF ADORABLE MISFITS WE SHALL BE THEN!”
Lillith sobered up and hit Ashton’s shoulder.
“Alright, now shut up! We have to do our introductions now that we are a lovely team… Hem… You go first, Luca!”
“Dude, why did you start like you were going to start it? Oh well, whatever… I’m Luca Carlucci, I have a gift for observing and it’s my hobby too. Not like a stalker though, think more like Sherlock Holmes… I have the cutest little sister and I like to cook, not that I’m proficient at it though. I would love to find a regular apartment for just me and my sister… She’s like the only person in the universe, I’ll live with peace. Oh, and I’m planning to be a doctor so a heads up if I get kinda stressed out and rude soon. “
“AHA a sis-con! Got dirt on you to spill to your fan-club!” Lillith giggled as she secretly thought to ‘accidentally’ leak edited photos of Luca in doctor’s scrubs.
“Hey, that I am but you would be too if you had a sister like her! She’s my perfect angel. But try telling them and I’ll show you what I can do.”
“Fine, I get it you sis-con, now me… Hem… I’m Lillith Sorren Potter like that of Harry Potter. No, we are not related, but dang we should be. Call me Lily and nothing else, if not face my wrath. I’m your ultimate fangirl and I’m the personification of perfection. I learn quick and ship fast. Computers are life’s best creation and I’m glad I can wield it as an awesome weapon. I’m an only child, but I adore kids. I think I know all of the little terrors in this neighbourhood.”
Hirokazu went next.
“I’m Hirokazu Ibata and I just really like to figure out mysteries. I have a brother, but I have no idea where he is right now. No, he’s not missing, he’s just annoying since he constantly forgets to update us. I can fight well enough, though. And I am working to be a detective and I WILL be the best. And I’ll let you guys in on something in due time.”
Ashton looked kind of awkward before he began speaking.
“Okay, I’m not as amazing as you guys okay? I’m Ashton James, call me Ash. I play every sort of sport in our school and I’m okay with studies-“
The three of us just gaped at him. This boy was ranked first school wise and third nation wise. Like how is being first in their school only okay in studies! He sighed and corrected himself after he saw our expressions.
“Fine… I’m great at studying, but that’s just remembering stuff and that’s easy. You guys are the coolest ones okay? Lemme be the nerdy jock in peace! I like playing video games and I have my parents… What, you guys have siblings to speak about, excluding Lily. The only small fry I’m okay with is Luna… As in Luca’s sister.”
“Oh my goodness! Your sister is named Luna?! How much cuter can you get than that!!! Now I definitely have to meet her one day.” Lily squealed with delight. She then giggled how she would be an amazing role model for her.
Luca looked sort of irritated by the thought of having to share with his sister, but he forgot about it since Luna would be glad to see his new friends. Luna knew of Ash since he has come over a couple of times for study group since they have been friends since the 1st grade. Luna adored Ash and he’s gotten jealous over that mess of times. But he’s the one dude he trusts with her so that she won’t come into trouble. Now he hoped they can become proper friends unlike before, where they only recognized each other’s names and families. He never saw how good a friend Ash could be until this whole nonsense had occurred.
“Gee Lily, you are such a giggle mug!” Ash laughed at her giggling.
“Dude, I’ve only read about that phrase and I’ve never heard anyone use it… Wow, you used it correctly too!” Hirokazu wonders out loud.
“What do you mean old? I read it in my great-grandfather’s journal once and… Oh, wait, never-mind…” Luca was about to retort and realized his mistake.
Ash never realized how clueless Luca could be, since now he knows till now they haven’t actually been friends and that did sort of sting but at least now they can truly become friends.
“Guys isn’t the weirdest thing here that you all know the term? Like what does that even mean?”
Luca and Ash looked at each other and smiled. They both started to speak at the same time.
“A giggle-mug is someone who constantly has a smile on their face!”
Lily looked at the boys with a look of bemusement. She never knew boys could be so shy with each other… In terms of friendship in their instance. The bond between two men when properly formed can be invincible… And it sometimes leads to something a great deal more… Beautiful, maybe like that of Luca and Hirokazu. She started laughing a bit crazy, which sort of freaked the boys away.
But Luca and Hirokazu had a mischievous plan to put into action and they didn’t even feel the need to verbalize about it to the key individual before they both pushed Ash towards Lily in an attempt to make her stop laughing crazily. He was supposed to scare her, but he, as the hapless fool who wasn’t informed of the plan, simply got pushed.
Ash suddenly felt a push and landed on top of Lily in a bit of an odd situation. His hands were on the sides of Lily’s head and he immediately pushed himself off of her. Lily had stopped laughing and looked annoyed instead of shy like Ash, who was blushing like crazy. The plan looks to have gone wrong and in a weird direction. Ash felt immensely guilty doing that to her since doing that any girl is awful and ungentlemanly.
“Boys, next time you try something like this be prepared for something a lot worse coming your way. Plus, I’m a seasoned veteran of every romantic situation since I’m so popular, this sort of thing is really common.”
The three boys got a bit concerned, okay, perhaps a lot more than a bit. The three idiots stood up as though they were going to fight every dude that attacked Lily.
“Wait, you mean you’ve been attacked by boys so many times you got used to it? That isn’t a good thing to become used to… Now that you have us you’d better depend on us to help you out okay?” Ash worriedly pipes up.
“Oh stop worrying, you ninny! I meant I’ve dated plenty of people, but that doesn’t mean I don’t get hit on either. I’m drop-dead gorgeous after all, but okay, I’ll take you guys for help if I need it.”
Lily was happy she found such nice friends who care about her this much even though they just decided to become friends.
The four stayed up there for the rest of the day, and returned home to angry faces and scolding that lasted hours. But it was worth every minute of that day.
