2. I’m really curious about the real reason why Yan Weiliang was affected at first by Brent’s singing. Is something inside him changing?

     • Oh damn, now that you mention it it’s obvious. There’s very strong hints in this chapter that point to that. It specifically mentions that Serbia, Chu Yuwen and Yan Weiliang have level SSS mental power and aren’t affected by the singing but noticeably does not say Ji Yu’s power level but still points out that he’s unaffected. Instead it highlights that his ‘legs’, that are completely covered so no one can see, trembled for some reason. And then we got Brend specifically info dumping that blood corals cannot live without mermaids so, gee, how is it the Ji Family has a blood coral? With all these hints I’ll be more surprised if Ji Yu turns out not to be a merfolk.
