The woman frowned slightly. In fact, she was able to surmise this eventuality as early as she viewed Cheng Jin’s profile.

At this very moment, his actual partner was unexpectedly sitting before her, wanting to dissolve the marriage that the world coveted. 

The woman restrained herself, and inquired in a lax manner, “It appears to me that you still have deep feelings with the lord general. Have you not tried imploring some means to improve your relationship?” 3vrZJ1

“I had.” Cheng Jin sounded quite soft and a bit exhausted. “But he still hates me… No, not hate, but disgusted.” He exasperatedly revealed a helpless grin. The general was invaded and attacked by the Zerg on his return trip and was critically injured. He has been currently admitted to the military hospital. The room number is…”

His first few sentences were the only thing that registered into Cheng Jin’s mind. When he heard him mention “critically injured”, a sudden surge of chill wrapped around his body, and his five senses were blocked.
