    • I feel like the mc is too single-minded. Usually in transmigration stories mc will try to adapt to the new world first at least, but here he went straight to buy paints instead. Idk man I just like smarter/wiser mc.

      • To me, it feels like MC has already adjusted to most of it (not acting shocked about cars, knowing how a phone works, etc), however things a normal person doesn’t really encounter in their day-to-day life are understandable for him to be unaware of. It seems that MC’s major issue is with Science, which is miles different from ancient times. Even if he did try to study, it would still be very confusing to understand. MC’s core issue is that he can’t really understand the characters being used, and if he can’t even read or write/type these characters he wouldn’t even be able to find a video to explain it to him.

  11. Normally, a teacher should think, does this kid 1: receive an insufficient education in the middle of nowhere where he lived before? After all, I know that CN still has some catching up to do in the back country. Or 2: does he have a learning disability, like a dys disorder for example, or even a mental issue…

      • It amazes me how many biases there still are in the education system worldwide (the basics + the local flavors based on culture), we know so much about so many issues these days it should be automatic to have a check list of signs…

          • We took classes about adapting the work methods & the work space to optimize working with employees dealing with hearing, seeing or dys disorders, or chronical conditions like diabetes, etc. It’s cray how much people have a one way street, blinders on mentality.

            BTW, Instead of “normal”, I’ve started using “typical”. I stole that from “neuro typical”, as in not being neurologically different. Imagine a snarky tone “you’re a typical”, batting hand & shrug. Cookie cutter, common lot humans are boring after all! 😉

    • That was my first thought as well. But he just transmigrated, right? Maybe the original already DID write in class TT Or on the TV-Show TT Then it would be obvious, in the teachers eyes, that he IS rebelling TT
