The author provided a quick explanation of the ranks of martial artists and pharmacists on the front page. This translation is not definite and the terms are subject to change.

Martial Artist Levels

Xiantian 9 Stages: Qi Breathing x 3, Qi Gathering x 3, Qi Forming x 3
Immortal Realm: Low, Mid, High, Peak

Atomic Realm: Low, Mid, High, Peak

Qi Psyche Realm can refine Houtian and Xiantian medicinal pills.
A Coalescing Psyche Realm can refine Immortal Realm medicinal pills.

Golden-Level Medicine
Golden-Level Pharmacist → Atomic and Ascendant
Coalescing Psyche Realm, Core Psyche Realm
If one is a Coalescing Psyche Realm, one can refine Atomic Realm medicinal pills with difficulty, but the success rate is low.

Profound-Level Medicine
Profound-Level Pharmacist → Celestial, Noble, and Royal
Core Psyche Realm, Nurturing Psyche Realm
If one is a Core Psyche Realm, one can refine Celestial Realm medicinal pills with difficulty, but the success rate is low.

Earth-Level Medicine
Earth-Level Pharmacist → Cosmic
Spirit Psyche Realm, Low Rank
A Nurturing Psyche Realm cannot refine Cosmic Realm medicinal pills.

Heaven-Level Medicine
Heaven-Level Pharmacist → Lesser Emperor
Spirit Psyche Realm, Mid Rank

Sage-Level Medicine
Sage-Level Pharmacist → Greater Emperor
Spirit Psyche Realm, High Rank

IHM doesn’t precisely follow conventional cultivation stages, so things like Qi Condensation → Foundation Establishment → Core Formation → Nascent Soul, and so on aren’t here in name, per se.

Martial Artist Levels

后天: 炼血 锻骨 凝脉
先天: 含气 聚气 化气

Houtian and Xiantian are terms often kept in their original pinyin. Houtian in this context refers to developing the physical, i.e., refining the blood, forging or tempering the bones, and condensing the meridians. Similarly, Xiantian refers to developing the non-physical, i.e., breathing in qi from the surroundings, gathering qi without breathing, and forming qi without external influences.

Immortal Realm: 脱凡境, To shed the ordinary, commonplace, temporal, or material.

Atomic Realm: 合元境, To link or join the fundamentals, constituents, or parts.
Ascendant Realm: 羽化境, For a Daoist Immortal to levitate, or to ascend to heaven.

Celestial Realm: 天人境, A celestial being.
Noble Realm: 人极境, A person of the utmost.
Royal Realm: 人皇境, A person of imperial status.

Cosmic Realm: 碎空境, Breaking the sky or shattering the void.
Lesser Emperor Realm: 少帝境, Direct translation.
Greater Emperor Realm: 大帝境, Direct translation.

Pharmacist Levels

Human-Level Medicine: 人级丹
Golden-Level Medicine: 黄级丹
Profound-Level Medicine: 玄级丹

Earth-Level Medicine: 地级丹
Heaven-Level Medicine: 天级丹
Sage-Level Medicine: 圣级丹

Qi Psyche Realm: 气神境, Direct translation.
Coalescing Psyche Realm: 涡神境, Whirlpools or eddies.
Core Psyche Realm: 丹神境, Pill or pellet.
Nurturing Psyche Realm: 养神境, To raise or nurture.
Spirit Psyche Realm: 灵神境, Direct translation.

  3. What is the age-life limit per cultivation rank?

    • In chapter 3, it briefly goes over lifespans. The average lifespan of people in this world is 150 years. After advancing to the Immortal Realm, it doubles to 300 years.

      In chapter 145, Atomic Realms have a lifespan of 500 years.

  4. Is there a Rank list for beasts and weapons? If there is what is listed in it?

    Based on the first 150 chapters, the System seems to be an AI-spiritual weapon?

    • The ranking for weapons and artifacts is the same system as the ranking for pills: 人/黄/玄/地/天/圣

      Beasts use a separate ranking system. There’s 12 baseline ranks of 荒兽 (wild beasts). Rank 1 = Houtian 1-3, rank 2 = Houtian 4-6, rank 3 = Houtian 7-9, rank 4 = Xiantian 1……rank 12 = Xiantian 9. Then a “super” rank also called 灵级 (spirit rank) matching Immortal realm. Then 8 ranks of 元兽 (origin beasts) matching the remaining Atomic through Greater Emperor realms.

I was wondering if you guys are considering making another sheet to briefly explain the effects of the various pills mentioned throughout the novel as the translation goes on? Sometimes I have a hard time remembering what medicinal pills does what after 30 chapters or so.

    • Back during the novel’s first auction, the currency exchange rate of normal money was:

      1 gold = 10 taels of silver, (1 tael = 50 grams)

      1 gram of silver = 2 coins

      Therefore, 1 gold = 1,000 coins.

      For the higher levels of currency, people use spirit crystals, profound crystals, and treasured crystals. However, the author has stated that different types of crystals don’t have set exchange rates because they’re higher orders of magnitude in terms of cultivation (energy) resources.
