Translator's Note

It would be hard for the soldier to report back to the noble who gave him the order.

  1. So… there are nobles, civilians, soldiers, workers and outcasts? But if feel like there should still be something above the nobles — else how can the pipes and exquisite workmanship in both architecture and clothing be explained? The people who do those things should have a high rank, but if it isn’t done by people…

    Thank you for the chapter~!

    • Thank you! And just to clarify, there are three class systems in this instance: The noble, the soldiers and the workers. The workers are the lowest rank and are treated as outcasts; the soldiers are generally stronger in physic (they also have horns or animal ears) and are the people running the ant nest while also serving the nobles; the nobles are the highest rank and treated like pampered children.

As for all the other stuff…… only time will tell hehe~

      • ah?? Is there no Queen among this colony??? Ants irl survives thanks to the queen, if the workers and soldiers are the limbs, veins, and flesh then the queen is the heart and the brain I’m confused????

    • Fish never thought about that; very interesting! This premise reminds Fish of another novel, but the name of that novel is not coming to mind right now……

  2. »I just came down there..« from down there (?)

Oh, okay. That explains that one woman with a cut ear earlier. Tsk, thrown out bc of such a ridiculous reason.

Thx for the ch ٩( >ヮ<)۶

  3. Well… my little theory didn’t even survive a single chapter ahahahaha

They’re not infected and they’re probably also not a different kind of ant since looking at all these nobles it seems like something us dumb humans usually do

  4. Down? So they’ll be workers now? If they send nobles who’ve had a taste of upper class life down all the time, its amazing they haven’t had a revolution yet.

    Thanks for the chapter!
