Also, I started a stupid short story. Because I honestly have been depressed over my writing for a year now and thinking of taking a year off of writing because I believe my writing sucks. I’m sure you know that your self doubt is a separate entity from your writing talent? Just in case, you should know that I’m old, experienced and picky about books and sex. I don’t feel like I have time to waste forcing my way through inferior work. If you’re exhausted then definitely a break is a good idea, but your writing is solid. I identify with Min-Jun a lot, and I love that he’s comfortable and aggressive with Ye Xun.
I am trying to get my self-doubt under control. When I end up in my depressive moods, I always question everything I do. I just need to give myself a break to think.
