The touched area heated up. Xu Ze looked at Lu Heyang’s nose and eyelashes at close, holding his breath. He resisted the urge to reach out and cover Lu Heyang’s ears to prevent him from hearing his heartbeat.
Unfortunately, the timing of the communicator on his white coat was inconvenient—or perhaps convenient—it lit up with a red light. Xu Ze was startled, “It’s from the emergency room.”
Lu Heyang buttoned his shirt, “Go ahead.”
