  11. Honestly IDK how real the Emperor’s feelings are on giving Hanzhang a marquis title. He’s not a good character but at the same time he’s not hateful. He makes a pretty good emperor tho, not really falling for pillow talk and basically hiding his true feelings from people. But one thing that made me like him was when he said “ Taking in the whole scene at once and seeing the empress’s expression, he couldn’t help but sneer in his heart. After so many years, she was still too inferior to take out in public. “ LOL 😂

The side couple continues to be indirectly cute, and that’s great haha. The flag raised on that persistent wife situation is a little concerning but I believe in Mu Hanzhang. The emperor is really…doing his best, it’s sad that they used to be more like a family but I’m happy for Jing Chen and Jing Shao, that they still have such a good relationship (this time)

  18. As a proud person myself i understand the emperor’s attitude, it’s not like he didn’t see what she did and she did it, and he let them. He just really hates how that mother and son pair act like they are the smartest and most cunning people in the world and can manipulate whomever they want. If there is one thing i hate the most is people dumber than me acting like they are smarter than everyone else.

    The emperor, though I’m not very fond of him, at least in this chapter, it shows how fond he is of his late wife, their past, and his sons. I also understand how he needs to take into account all sides and cannot act rashly for favoritism. So even though his current wife is annoying as hell, he can’t simply demote her. Also, she’s the one digging her own grave. She already lost face multiple times in front of the emperor. 😂 I like seeing her humiliated. 😈

    I’m excited to see how the rest will be. It seems JS and MHZ can brave through whatever comes their way. I believe in their abilities and their love. ❤️

    Ah, the emperor is so done with her, it’s very nice to see. She should’ve given up after that kneeling punishment and Mu Hanzhang’s little stunt, ot was the perfect time.

    I can’t get over how she schemed all this time to bring Jing Chen and Jing Shao down and now it’s all falling apart into something so perfect for them 😌👌

    Also, future court gatherings with Jing Shao sending heart eyes at Jun Qing all the time?? I’m already weeping in glee.

    • It’s never been explicitly stated but he was able to give better pointers on what would please a botttom and at one point he also grabbed his backside in pain which implies he’s the one who takes it
