The Black Saint is My StalkerCh64 - Demon heart

Han Li’s mind was ripe with chaos and the sharp sting of blood lust.

And yet, he felt perfectly fine, aside from the knifing annoyance, being in the presence of such nuisance. HYiagW

Said nuisance blinked at him with those golden eyes of hers and a gleeful smile on her pretty visage.

Ah, Han Li, realized with blaring certainty, that they were of the same blood. No wonder he despised her so.

As much as he would have loved to have her in his grasps or have each other claw and throw punches close quarters, Han Li felt another irksome pressure approach. He tossed his offending half-sister away and brought his arms over his face to shield himself from that stifling blast of holy energy.

When the prince stepped backward, she was met with a shiny holy blade. Clarent bore down on her as she lifted her black axe. F2w6z8

Graham put all his strength into the swing. The ground rumbled beneath their feet and the Prince took a few steps back. “Ah, little Dimitris! We meet again. But it seems you have yet to fully recover since our last encounter, you think this wise?”

Graham ignored her and turned his gaze behind instead. His brows furrowed, a strange expression donned.

“Sorry, I’m late.”

Han Li tilted his head. He couldn’t even fathom what the saint was talking about. With a brow raised and a smile on his lips, he replied with a mirthful tone, “Actually, you’re right on time.”

It was just then that the prince lunged at him, and Graham had barely a second to react. Their clash was epic, steel clashing loudly and concrete cracking beneath their feet with debris kicked up.

Han Li felt his blood rumble and desire fester in his demon heart. A wet tongue glided over his lips as his heart thrummed in his chest. The battle between Graham and the prince was terribly close and the faint trickle of anger and lust welded together, inciting him to join.

And yet, he held himself back. While the string of reasoning in his mind was thin, it was oddly still present and he thus turned his back on the roaring battle and instead looked down upon the woman that lay there atop debris.

Her chest barely moved, breathing light. Han Li knelt at her side, his ruby eyes peered down at her with both curiosity and pity. “I told you to rest,” he said, chiding but gentle. rqkXnQ

A rumbling sound echoed throughout as the sky cracked open. The divine barrier that held down the miasma within the city dissipated, letting the smoke rise even further.

But that was none of Han Li’s concern. He was more interested in the battle, and the demoness that shared the same blood as him.

He rose to his feet and listened to the thundering fight that was unfolding. B81a0V

Graham gritted his teeth, his Time Record had recovered a measly five minutes but he worked with it.

When Andraste’s axe found itself embedded in his arm, halfway through the limb, time would rewind. Just a quaint few seconds, giving him enough of a head start to twist away from the blow and suffer a small cut before thrusting his sword towards her neck.

She was startled, having perceived a change in the strings of fate with her third eye. Clarent grazed her neck, the thick divine power sizzled her skin.

However, it was hardly enough to count as substantial injury and she had to merely pivot on her toes to unleash a burst of black flames right at the saint. p1WDaS

Graham backed up to avoid the onslaught.

But Han Li did just the opposite and stepped forward, taking the fore undaunted by the miasmic flames. The dispersed upon contact with his arm, leaving behind nothing more than an uncomfortable tingle.

Weian slashed forth, colliding with the black steel of the Prince’s frightful axe. The miasma was truly stifling but Han Li was basking in it, devouring it with eager glee.

The prince mirrored Han Li’s smile and though his physical strength was already much greater than that of a human being’s, she did not so much as bulk beneath his strength. “You are still young, little one. I do fear that you will have to shed the remainder of your humanity if you wish to match the likes of me, Andraste, the Bringer of Victory!” QU8Yec

As though to demonstrate her words, she knocked him back with her terrifying strength, stepping in close to chase after his retreat.

Except before she had the chance to reach Han Li, divine power was already bearing down on her once more.

Bang, bang. The Archivist shot at her, one bullet wedged itself in her shoulder and the other in her throat, and Clarent swung at her again.

The prince stumbled back but Han Li was back to chase her. 4a8fJn

Not even for a moment could he lower her guard against them, lest she risked injury. The smile on her visage only seemed to stretch as the battle increased in intensity.

Neither three dared break focused, each captured by the flow of battle, as though in sync with each other’s steps as they clashed.

How odd it was for a demon to work together with a saint, and yet such a scene was unfolding in the midst of the wreckage.

When Han Li was thrown off his feet, Graham was there to catch him. When Graham was being pushed back, Han Li was there to deliver the blow. At first, the well of divine power mixed with miasma gave him a headache but soon he found himself getting used to it. rfp6KG

Han Li’s mind was sharp, his sanity teetering just on the fringes of madness, and yet he held on, encouraged by the golden gleam in Graham’s eyes, that chose to trust him despite the situation.

No one in the world ever depended on Han Li’s demonic strengths before, not willingly.

It was…interesting! And made his heart stutter with joy. For battle was fun but fighting alongside comrades was even better.

The prince was gleeful as well, amused by the situation that unfolded before her very eyes. She, of course, wasn’t about to back down even if the world went up in flames! Eager to duel the two that stood before her. uaWUwd

However, no matter how much the earth was churned beneath their feet, no matter how much smoke rose and black flames danced, neither side gave up an inch.  The three stared each other down, their states still the same even an hour into the fight.

“Have you grown tired yet?” The prince said with her singsong voice, “I’d call for a break should it be a duel but we are at war! Know that I will not stop even as the sun falls and rises again.”

“Save it,” Han Li beamed as he rushed in. Although his mind still remained dangerously on the fringes of madness, he refused to give up, refused to back down. Even as the blood lust burned him, even as the laughter made him sick.

All he needed to do was recall Seoyun’s soft smile and Graham’s warmth at his side and Han Li felt unstoppable. YSDaQF

Sure, perhaps he might fall into insanity.

But he was unstoppable.

“…” Graham followed after Han Li, supporting him with each and every step. Although his visage was set in stone, he was not without apprehension and anxiety; for his Time Record was severely limited, not even his divine power had fully recovered.

Still, the Saint of Eternity marched on forward, undaunted by his setbacks or even the prospect of failure. He was, as he always was, doing what needed to be done. cex5zY

The stalemate continued as the sun moved across the sky. And as it seemed that neither side would yield. It was then that a shooting star came barreling down.

Han Li rushed towards the prince when her attention was momentarily captivated by the bright light that descended. He didn’t get far. Because Graham wrapped an arm around his waist and held him back. Han Li almost wrestled against him, a complaint lodged in his throat but the blazing light came down with a thunderous boom.

Everything was engulfed with a blaring white noise that came with the blinding light. And when it dissipated Graham saw Miguel’s unmistakable figure, with a golden spear in hand clashing against the prince’s axe.

“What did I say about waiting for reinforcements?” The Saint of Shields chuckled as he struck at the prince, only to form a golden shield in his other hand to ward off her onslaught. d9vOFV

Just when he fell back, other lights came barreling from the sky; an older man sat upon a white tiger with a fan in hand along with a young woman still wearing a lab coat over her DASR-developed suit.

The cavalry had arrived.

  2. Rest in peace, Vfbsec Noona, you were incredible! 😭💐

Han Li and Graham did superbly, too. That’s an example how cooperation between team mates should look like. So fricking good!

And, Miguel, if they waited for reinforcements, the she-Prince could have run or done something else, so shut up and do what you are supposed to with your reinforcements!

    Thank you for the chapter!!!

P.S. Let’s hope that after this battle is finished, our Saints will be able to put those top management idiots in their place, because nothing would be more infuriating and disrespectful to those who died and the survivors than some “was not there and didn’t send help on time, but have the right to judge” yapping. 😤

    • TT u TT;;; RIP But why is killing off characters so fun?

Yes!! They work well as a team if nothing else bwhahaha.

Thank you so much for reading reeEEEeee

(Seriously though, do you think those top management people would care about people dying LMFAO—)
