The Black Saint is My StalkerCh152 - Who did this

When Jayden found her, it was already too late. itr14W

There she was, strung up like pig’s meat, her bowels exposed, fallen from the wide gap in her chest and stomach. Her head hung unnaturally, snapped and even her ribs protruded from her chest cavity oddly. It was as though someone had gone in and pried her open, rummaged around her organs, and left her there in a state of gore and disrespect.

Jayden trembled as he approached. “Mags,” his voice broke. “Oh God, Mags…” His fingers shook as he reached up to her face, already cold. Her dark eyes stared out vacantly, unable to tell her husband the culprit for her gory, violent demise.

Darkness and despair welled in Jayden’s chest, insurmountable in its all-consuming pressure. He pressed his head against hers. “Mags— who…who did this to you?” he whispered.

He couldn’t even take her down from the contraption that held her corpse captive. Didn’t have the time to show her any honor or even mourn. mDdEF

There was a child yet to be found.

Jayden screamed. He screamed and let his anger out on the ground and walls, punching with all his strength. He screamed and then he forced away the tears, shouldered the pain. And after taking a few heaving breaths, Jayden left. He left her, just like that. Only because he knew that she would loathe him if he had done any different. Magnolia would not have wanted him to waste time to tend to her dead body, when there was still a child out there that needed his help.

Holding all the anguish and grief in his heart, Jayden deployed his mechanical wasps throughout the building.

The citizens of Ironworks were a strange lot. And though from the outside looking in, the town might have looked picturesque, the reality of the matter was much more different.

No alarms sounded despite the rampaging chaos that happened around the main facility. By now, news had gotten out that something was horribly wrong. But instead of trying to get external help or even evacuating the premises, all the civilians disappeared from the streets into their homes. They locked their doors and activated whatever security the individual properties provided.

Not even Emilia’s neighbors seemed to react to the chaos that was unfolding on her property. In fact, whoever inhabited the house next door had closed the blinds to any window that might have given them a good view of her yard.

For it was in her yard that a battle was clearly taking place. There were flashes of divine light, beings with powers that manipulated darkness and miasma. But it seemed that no outside help was to come. hZwMIU

And within Dr. Rose’s property, there was a presence much more menacing than the black-feathered beasts.

The silence was suffocating. Duan Jiayu cautiously took a step forward. Then another. And another. He made his way towards the steps, coming down as though everything was fine and dandy.

He would have to cross the lobby to reach the front door. Which meant crossing the demon.

And he did just that, walking forward. For a moment, nothing happened. The hazel-eyed man didn’t say a word. Not until Duan Jiayu was but three steps away from the door.

“Where do you think you’re going?” the honeyed voice tickled Duan Jiayu’s neck. He froze. Since when did the man get behind him? 85oQPB

“You said that I’m to leave the premises. I am doing just that,” Duan Jiayu replied easily.

He only needed to crane his neck slightly back and he saw that the man was indeed there, right behind him with breath against his neck.

Chrysanthemum Garden.

“I think you misunderstood. I said that I will remove you from the premises. Who said you could leave on your own?”

Duan Jiayu had some form of witty remark on the tip of his tongue. But it died in an instant. Fear struck him like an arrow through the heart, killing intent so intense that it left him feeling dizzy. For a second, Duan Jiayu really believed that he was dead. DCB42y

But his body reacted before he could, it jolted, flinched away from something sharp that grazed his neck. Hands twitched into a seal, incantation on his lips.

Too slow. Duan Jiayu’s opponent was too close. The hazel-eyed man was reaching for his neck and he couldn’t be able to finish his incantation in time—

Except he did.

A red spear appeared from the floor below. If Duan Jiayu’s opponent had dared to inch forward any further, the spear tip would have etched a hole under his jaw. Instead, he flinched backward. EV2aWA

Incantation completed. A wall of water formed, creating a tall wave that stood like a barrier. It was then that miasma swelled in the air. There was no mistaking it now.

It was a demon.

Duan Jiayu had no time to waste. He wasn’t foolish enough to believe that a simple barrier of water would defend him against whatever demon that challenged his life. He drew out a slew of talismans and unleashed them upon the wall of water, causing it to shimmer with an ethereal golden glow. Duan Jiayu sent it forward. The wave crashed into furniture, and toppled a coat stand and bookshelf over. Framed paintings on the wall fell victim as well, their glass frames shattered on the ground.

But Duan Jiayu’s foe merely flicked his wrist, and a whirlwind of black feathers appeared at his feet. abR73T

Water crashed against an invisible force, unable to pierce the wall of miasma around the demon. The black feathers anchored the barrier, their inky color slowly disintegrated, revealing a pearl white hue. The miasma thickened, as though leaking out from the feathers.

The water, imbued with Duan Jiayu’s purification talismans were not enough and spilled around the demon in a perfect circle. The purification spell was already being overwritten, the water lost its golden glow, turning murky with darkness. Only after the corruption settled in, did the water breach the invisible around the demon. By the time it pooled around polished black dress shoes, it had lost all its effects.

The demon reached up, slowly plucking the pair of glasses from his face. His hazel eyes glowed an eerie blue. A black halo appeared upon his head and Duan Jiayu could already feel his heart sinking at the sight.

A prince. ezmWDg

Said demon prince smiled. “Whatever it is that you’re thinking, I will just let you know that it’s futile.”

“…”

A second hung.

Duan Jiayu unleashed a slew of paper talismans, glowing bright as he sent them forth. He made no effort to see if they struck true, turning tails and making a break for it. T53s1H

The door was just three steps away.

Three impossible steps.

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

An invisible force lashed out. It felt like a rope being caught around Duan Jiayu’s ankle. It yanked him backward. He tried to regain his balance but his efforts were futile. The thing around his ankle dragged him to the ground. Duan Jiayu scrambled, reaching for his talismans.

Again, that spear of blood appeared once more. Blood seeped from behind a picture hung up on the wall before forming a weapon. It launched forward, aimed at the demon’s head. ia1z6t

The demon reacted immediately. His miasma retreated, the white feathers around him turned black once more. They shot like a flurry of winged beasts, swarming around the crimson spearhead until it stopped the weapon’s advance.

Duan Jiayu’s ankle was freed. Before he had the chance to scramble to his feet, he was already being pulled up but something— or someone else.

“You are damned slow!” Franz tugged on him. The door was in reach or so they thought. Once again efforts proved futile. A swarm of black feathers obstructed their way. Duan Jiayu pulled out more of his talismans, keenly aware of his thinning supplies.

There was still the demon behind them, whose hands had turned into talons. Sharp claws outstretched. It lunged. FhG4qP

Franz clashed with pointed talons with his red spear. His muscles strained, teeth grit. He had barely the power to stand his ground and his demonic foe did even seem fazed by his strength. The demon prince looked at him, the black halo retracting while a third eye formed.

“Something about you seems familiar,” the demon remarked casually. “Though, I cannot put my finger on it.”

“…” Franz did not deign it an answer. When the prince realized that the vampire wasn’t responding it sighed. Five black feathers danced around, before expelling the miasma they held within. Jet-black became ivory-white. The blast of miasma knocked Franz off his feet.

He clicked his tongue, before falling to the ground turned into a bloody rouge mist. Qx6DLW

“Oh, I see now.” The demon perked up, like a child that had a sudden epiphany with a riddle. “You are the young Bathory’s servant, aren’t you? Did you come to find your master?”

“…!” Franz’s blood boiled, his calm composure cracked. In that instance, his control over his blood phase slipped as well.

A playful smile stretched the demon’s lips. “Oh, don’t you know? I tore that young master of yours from limb to limb.”

Franz saw red. f95 6k

  1. Val, you’ve got me hooked! Looking forward to the next chapter release! Can’t wait to see how the battle unfolds!

  2. It’s quite obvious he doesn’t but I wonder if Jayden knew everything that happened and led to Magnolia’s death, would he still wants to take revenge against Han Li??

  3. Franz don’t!!! He’s egging you on to make a mistake!!! And where is Graham? Still fighting with the demons outside? Well, at least his Archive ability is on, so even if the UGLY kills Franz, he might be able to come back.

    Thank you for the chapter!!!

  4. I’m sure that if Emilia Rose doesn’t die by Han Li hands (fingers crossed on that), she’s gonna have a heart attack when seeing the state of her house 😂

I hope Graham’s battle is going well ! You need to go save your boy before he lose it completely… Well, it might be too late for that… But still you understand my point 😁

    • o u o i mean fair LOL I’d freak tf out too…x _ x
