Translator's Note

A lot of bathrooms in older/smaller Chinese apartments don’t separate the shower (wet area), and sink/toilet (dry area). The shower doesn’t have its own booth or tub, and is just a nozzle attached to the wall next to the toilet. Here’s an example of what I mean:

But for hygiene/ventilation purposes, Fu Jia had renovated the shower by installing a glass stall.

  4. Jia from the start only breathes for Qi’an, he is the sole reason why he keeps walking in life despite the anguish he felt for scummy people around him. I understand how he can’t hate Qi’an when he resolutely makes him his foundation. He built a fence around him and only Qi’an can enter. Heck, he even justifies the bastard Qinhe hurting him and Qi’an leaving because of what her bitchy mother did. Letting them stomp him is his way of atoning for existing. Still, Qi’an deserves to see how much pain he inflected to Jia. Honestly, he should feel panged and ashamed – he consciously witness how Jia cupped him in his own world. He’s the only existence for Jia. Qi’an go repent!!!!
