Shu Yan’s voice trembled. “I…I understand….”

When reading these chapters I had never stopped mid reading unless I had to do something important but this… While I was reading the girls perspective on when she called by the ml I had to stop. I stopped and looked at the mirror as realization rolled in. I couldn’t believe it. I spent some seconds cursing the ML and went back to reading. This arc is truly the worst in my opinion.

A knife, right into the heart, this chapter is. Ahhhhh, this awful man; though so far I don’t think he’s worse than Ye Jizhou, it only feels that way bcs LZ is younger and more naive than BM, so the impact of his actions is harsher.
