“Fuck you!” Bellona howled in anger as she attempted to jump and throttle Victoria King, who she had just been sparring with.
Today’s Ability Enhancement class was quite idle and everyone was sparring against everyone else in the Hexagon, which their coaches specifically rented for the afternoon so that everyone could get a feel for the place.
The sparring session just now was quite alright, but Victoria King didn’t have a good impression of Bellona so she naturally began acting mischievous and was secretly scheming with Harriet Thompson, who was watching at the sidelines inconspicuously. She kept on tripping Bellona, who was confused out of her mind before one of her trips exposed Harriet sneakily being shady behind her and using her power to help Victoria mess with her.
“I’m going to fuck you up!” Bellona screeched as her little claws approached a startled Victoria who didn’t expect her to find out so soon.
“Sh-Should we stop them…” Sebi worriedly asked as he and Necomir stopped stretching. The latter gazed into the direction of the madness with bored eyes before quickly looking back at his companion.
“No need,” Necomir said as he took his wrist. “Let’s jog around the Hexagon.”
“Okay!” Sebi easily relented, letting the chaos continue on as he happily followed after the taller man.
Before Bellona could tear Victoria apart, Akhenaten suddenly rushed over, stopping her with a force field.
“Alright, break it up!” Akhenaten shouted.
“Mind your own business!” Bellona shouted back at him as she teleported out of his grasp.
Chunmi suddenly appeared out of nowhere and came from behind her then pulled her away.
“Bell, calm down now,” Chunmi soothed her as she secured her hold around her waist and dragged her away. It looked a bit weird, especially since Chunmi only reached Bellona’s shoulder at full height, but she was still able to drag her away.
“But Mimi!” Bellona whined as she pouted and continued to struggle.
“No,” Chunmi firmly said. “It’s fine, don’t lower yourself to their childishness. Let’s go and practice together.”
“I want to smash their face in,” Bellona glumly said.
Akhenaten suddenly rushed over and slung his arms over both women’s shoulders. “Don’t mind them anymore, alright? Let’s go practice together. Look, Necomir and Decebal are jogging. Let’s join them.”
“Then let’s go,” Chunmi said as she jogged over to them.
Once she was farther away, Akhenaten whispered mischievously, “I’ll help you get payback. I know where their rooms are. I also know where to get fart bombs that last centuries. They’re gonna regret it.”
Bellona gave Akhenaten a low high five before following after Chunmi.
But before they could join them, Sebi and Necomir suddenly stopped on their tracks as a white figure appeared before them.

“Ah, Neco…” Sebi laughed nervously as he tried tugging at Necomir’s arm and pulling him away. “It’s okay…”
“What do you want from Sebi?” Necomir sinisterly said, his voice low and threatening that it made Sebi’s knees go soft for a moment.
Misharu crossed his arms over his chest and smirked condescendingly. “You don’t need to know. Step away, it’s none of your business.”
Necomir grumbled as his eye twitched in annoyance and he looked like he’d be the one who will be attacking someone today instead of Bellona. Sebi was conscious of his bad temper, so he forcefully pulled him back with a little bit of his ability.
“It’s alright, I can handle this,” Sebi told him, patting Necomir’s chest, who looked quite disgruntled but didn’t say anything further.
“Misharu, what did you want from me?” Sebi smiled as he faced the white-haired man.
“I want to compete with you,” Misharu said.
“Oh? Interesting,” Sebi said. “Since you want it to be a competition instead of a sparring session, how about we make a bet?”
Misharu didn’t even have to think much about it. He already knew that he wanted something from Sebi, so he naturally nodded and smiled even wider.
“What would you like to bet, then?”
Sebi tilted his head to the side. “How about you tell me yours first?”
“No fun, but fine,” Misharu chucked. “If I win, you’ll let me into that curious mind of yours without fighting.”
Necomir scrunched his eyebrows upon hearing this. “That’s too much!”
“Why? It’s not like he is hiding something dark, isn’t he?” Misharu laughed devilishly. “Isn’t Decebal Yan your rival? Why do you want to protect him so much?”
“Because he just came from a 6-year coma!” Necomir snapped at him. “He’s not like us!”
“Don’t look down at him,” Misharu’s voice had a teasing lilt. “Don’t you know the kind of power Decebal has? He can scatter your brains if he wants to. Let me have some fun with him, and you’ll see.”
Necomir became silent and felt conflicted. He did want to see the extent of Sebi’s power, but he also didn’t want to see him strain too much against someone experienced like Misharu.
“Leave it to me,” Sebi assured him. “I’ll deal with him, trust me.”
Necomir nodded and didn’t say another word anymore.
“What do you want if you win?” Misharu asked.
“You just need to be dead to me,” Sebi smiled brightly. “Don’t show your face to me ever again.”
Even though this was spoken with his usual easygoing self, Sebi’s words felt so hostile, making those who witnessed the exchange think that he was a bit more frightening than Necomir had been a while ago.
Misharu was surprised to hear him speak such words. But the more aggressive Sebi was, the more he found it fun in a twisted way. He laughed out loud and said, “Deal! I’ll do it!”
Word quickly spread throughout the Hexagon, and everyone of the students there went up to the bleachers to watch.
Situated right in the middle of the Hexagon, Misharu and Sebi faced each other. There was a countdown up ahead on the scoring board, remotely controlled by Chunmi who was with her friends at the bleachers.
“Oh this is inevitable,” Light said as he and Aristotle walked up to Necomir who was rigidly leaning over the railing. “Hey freak, I’m surprised you haven’t stolen Decebal away from that madman since you are the rightful rival.”
“Shut up,” Necomir mumbled, clearly having no intention to entertain him.
“Hi Light, hey Aristotle!” Bellona greeted cheerfully. “Came to watch your old pal Decebal beat someone up?”
“Of course,” Light grinned wolfishly. “I’m curious what he’s capable of doing since he’ll obviously be provoked to no end by Misharu Tsai. It will be a glimpse of how he will mercilessly beat another certain guy in the future.”
The certain guy in question could only grunt to himself. He was still in a state of conflict, both worrying for Sebi and his competitive self feeling a bit tense over what he’d be seeing.
“Fucking Misharu Tsai!” A girl with curly hair suddenly came in and rushed towards the railing. “He’s really done it! I’m going to burn him to ashes when he dares do something to Decebal!”
Bellona turned to her, eyes gleaming in recognition. “Oh, you’re Alexandra Adebisi!”
Alexandra looked over at the people who were staring at her curiously. These people seemed to be Sebi’s friends. She cleared her throat, blushing as she straightened up and haughtily said, “Y-Yeah, it’s me. So?”
“If Misharu Tsai does something, I’ll help you,” Bellona gave her a thumbs up and winked at her.
Alexandra looked pensive but nodded, feeling relieved that other people are also willing to help her if Misharu crossed the line.
“Hey, I’m sure Misharu won’t do anything bad,” Akhenaten finally spoke up after being quiet for a long while.
“What, are you simping for him now?” Bellona raised an eyebrow as she reached out and pinched his ear. “Remember who is your friend!”
“I know!” Akhenaten wailed. “Am I not allowed to like someone?! What, is it forbidden?!”
“But Misharu Tsai is mad!”
“And I think that’s sexy of him!” Akhenaten sobbed even more as Bellona pinched his ear harder.
“Okay, that’s enough,” Chunmi chided as she reached out and took away Bellona’s hand.
“Akhenaten is crushing on Misharu Tsai?” Light chuckled as he crossed his hands. “That’s… unexpected.”
“That’s not what you intended to say,” Aristotle pointed out.
“Yeah, I was about to say that Akhenaten is dumb for that,” Light easily admitted.
“He’s lost his mind,” Alexandra grumbled. “Misharu Tsai is invasive and twisted.”
“You guys don’t even know him well…” Akhenaten mumbled as he rubbed his ear.
A robot voice suddenly boomed across the place, startling everyone and pulling their attention fully into the players below.
“Let the Hexagon Tournament begin!” it boomed.
