  3. I feel like the last part is A Fei’s mental representation of how the Cape of Desolation is a new, interesting world, and how he is interested in it and wants to explore. The abstract cake with the lightning is Saman, showing how he abruptly crashed into A Fei’s little, empty world, and the hearts are either his affection for A Fei or A Fei’s affection for Saman.

    Also, Nian Tianxi is supposed to be some great guy, right? But in a previous chapter, it was mentioned that he only does his disguises so well, because he has a large, professional team behind him gathering information about the instances and possible player identities. So, him being “a great player” is just normal players’ perspective, but not reality.

    And A Fei planning for his date with Saman is cute.

    That cough guy (ke) wanting to get rid of Saman, is not cute. Hope he gets thrashed some time soon.

    • From what I understand Nan Tianxi is the one collecting informations from NPCs by using his skills as disguise specialist while his team behind him are the ones facing dangers and fighting the battles, because disguise specialists were combat scum. Players believe that they are great because even though they are weak in battle they can make the NPCs play under their hands. That’s why they treat them higher because they need them to gather info and be in NPCs good side
