Translator's Note

The word “overthrow”, 覆灭, can also mean “destroy”

Translator's Note

His purpose is to overthrow the ant nest. To do so, he is employing an “aggressive” approach, which was to borrow another identity, enabling more mobility and freedom, but would cause others to suspect him (or rather, the borrowed identity).

  1. Huh?? How did that happen? Did the woman eat one of those black cubes…? No, that doesn’t make sense. Confusion~

Thank you for the chapter! ❤

    • (> V <) hahahaha~ No, if you’re referring to the pregnant worker (or, in fact, anyone in the story so far), no one ate the black cubes. The workers only get to eat spam (a salty, cuboid-shaped processed meat) for all of their meals (what a nightmare!), but the pregnant woman was able to eat more food in the ward since she is a patient.

As for the black cubes… Fish can’t reveal their purpose yet, ehe~

  2. ».. and vegetables that they could be thrown away.« Smth seems wrong here.

Wow, such a life would suck even more. Your future is determined by birth, you don’t really have the chance to develop own thinking since they indoctrinate everything into your brain from a young age (sounded like that)… brrrr, sounds not so nice. Maybe there’re more up for a revolution, a coup, whatever you call it xDD

    Thx for the ch (ㅅ˘ㅂ˘)

  3. Whoa, congrats to those worker parents. They’re hard work paid off. Life sucks, but its really sweet that all those worker parents try so hard to give a child they’ll never see a better life.

    Thanks for the chapter!

  4. well that was goofed up xD so is it sort of certain that parents will not necessarily give birth to children of the same ‘race’ here? Like, soldier ants if not enough nutrition can give birth to worker ants while worker ants with enough (even too much) nutrition has a possibility of giving birth to soldier ants and maybe noble ants as demonstrated there?? Feeling sad for the parents who don’t get to raise their kids even after the husband starves himself 🥲
