    His family had to leave him, while I wanted to leave mine because of college. That hollow feeling follows you like a shadow, and it won’t go away.   17. I feel like a lot of people jumped to conclusion about Uncle He (DJY’s stepfather). I think he’s just awkward towards our mc because their family is complicated plus he had to deal with his sick kid. So he snapped a bit to DJY when he gave coke to his brother but isn’t that what parents do sometimes? The stress of always being in the hospital and watching your kid get skinnier and skinnier will really take a toll on you. In my opinion, he’s actually a little gentle towards our mc. Hope they have a better interaction in the future. This is just my opinion towards their past interactions up to this chapter.
