  2. Thank you for the chapter ! I am not worried for Uncle Gu and Uncle Zhao. As Gu Zhuo’s parents, they must have his cleverness and fighting spirit! I believe in them. Zhao Ji especially would not let anything happen to his darling husband.

  9. As I was reading, I thought “who the heck is Zhao Ji dan Gu QI” only to realise several sentences after that, that those were the names of Dad and Father lol. This is why I rarely read such long works; I keep forgetting names. Thanks for the chapter!

  11. Maybe the battle slave bodyguards are got recalled during the time Tianheng went missing and didn’t get assigned back? Or maybe they are more going by not showing themselves until the dads are a hair’s breadth of mortal danger, and things haven’t gotten to that point just yet. GZ and Tianheng not remembering this fact though… em.
