2. Ling Su is way to suspicious. Why I feel like she playing the king game and wants to try to use the close blood connection between the two and ditch GZ as a master for Qi Tianyou? I don’t I ow if that’s possible but still 🤔…

   • Idk I feel like Ling Su doesn’t like GZ is because GZ is way too dependent and attached to Tianheng. Even his relationship with Tianheng is pretty submissive and always differing to him. Perhaps she would have wanted someone like Tianheng? Or what if…this is even better….she and her previous master were in a relationship and she just misses him. Perhaps in regards to the reincarnated this is another of her “tests” to see what kind of character GZ has? Hmmm

     • Her previous master was a woman iirc thiugh i suppose they could still have been lovers.

I think LS preferred the other twin QTY compared to GZ, otherwise as a weapon spirit that is supposed to give inheritance she won’t be bothered to keep QTY’s soul when he clearly didn’t meet the requirements and wouldn’t ask GZ to resurrect him when she herself said that the conditions are very harsh. She obviously cares too much, maybe the twin had similar personality with the previous master and she wanted for him to be her next master if not for the fact that he didn’t meet the requirements?

   Here I am speculating so hard.

   • My first thought was that she preserved his soul bc of his relationship with gz and she knew that he would eventually know this as well.

   • Tianheng arranged for some Tianlong guards to pose as a heinous criminal and a hero who pursues him for capture. The “criminal” conveniently took that shitty cousin hostage (the pharmacist one, who ordered Tianyou’s beads dug out) and dug his beads too. And then ran away and “got killed” (they actually killed the original criminal beforehand). The bastard who lusted after Tianyou but got together with the shitty cousin swiftly abandoned said cousin for becoming useless. And then he got sent to some remote position where he worked like a horse but got no cultivation resources and became about last in his whole clan. And by now they both died in the gutter I guess.

   When we learnt that Qi Tianyou was Gu Zuo’s brother, it was too sad that he died. But the story doesn’t make us sad for too long!
